I think that the market is going up with foreign porn products. I think that American porn companies have to compete more fiercly with the euro products. New countries are targeted for the talent, and mostly euro companies target the euro countries. Post your opinion
Personally, I don't like to watch US movies for a long time, Its boring to see the same type girls with silicones, lack of naturality and passion. Of course, eurochicks are much much better...
The US make some great features and have vast amounts of money and resources at the top end, and still the benefits of wide distribution at the lower end. One thing for sure is that that Euro babes are hot, I love starlets like Katja Kassin who is a stunner.
One problem although is that some Euro studios seem to have dried up, anyone have any info on Maximum Perversum a series I have always loved. Are there any new titles and what are they like?
There are some very good titles being made in the US.
I recently bought "Multiple POV" and "Service Animals 15" which I am enjoying very much, 1 scene at a time. The sheer enthusiasm, enjoyment and chemistry of the performers makes these a real treat to watch. I don't think any euro films I have seen have matched this. (of course, the language barrier doesn't help.)
The Europeans seem to have the edge when it comes to watersports, although Brazil might give them a run for their money sometime soon.
US peeing porn is pretty lame, presumably due to legal problems. I keep hearing about hot scenes that studios have shot but don't dare to publish. Someone should buy the rights to these scenes and make a compilation DVD in Europe.
European porn offers a new avenue for those bored with U.S porn films. The attraction can be new girls, harder content or just a different style of film. European girls are being featured in more and more US films as American film makers come to Europe to find attractive girls who ask for less money and 'go further' than their US counterparts. Eastern Europe (in particular Prague and Budapest)is a popular location for porno flicks. As for harder content, none of the US dvd retailers i use seem to stock GGG or Maximum Perversion titles. I am guessing that these films have a legality problem in the U.S (eg: fisting?. Come to think of it, is that why there is a lebian series called '4 finger club'? Is that the limit under U.S law?
As has been noted in previous threads, the issue is that there isn't a U.S. law, there are hundreds of local laws. Obviously most companies would rather just avoid the whole mess.
GGG (or other John Thompson series) won't be seen in the US until either 1)he lowers the licensing price he wants, or 2) someone pays it. (Just a hint, if he got the price he's asking, John Thompson DVDs in the US would retail somewhere just north of $60 apiece.)
As for Maximum Perversum titles in DVD, well I offer all the ones that are actually in NTSC format. There are not that many. I have some that are in PAL, but they aren't compatible with most US DVD players.

I love Katja too and I worked with her a lot. But you have to watch US porn for that. She never did anything in Europe.
Also European producers like Nacho Vidal, Toni Ribas, Christophe Clark, Rocco, Manuel Ferrara, Jean Yves LeCastel, David Perry, me and others shoot our movies dedicated to the U.S. market and than sell to Europe from the states as foreign sales.

Yeah, thats what I support too, I like when euro directors do stuff for the United States. I dont like when the euro directors and producers use euro talent for Europe and we Americans have to buy the DVDs at more expensive prices and sometimes makes it hard for us to find the DVD. When euro directors do stuff for the states then everyone is happy, both, the american fans, the american districutors and the euro producers.
Apparently AlexPanzer and Steve Holmes think it is great that European directors and producers shoot their movies dedicated to the US porn market.
Fans of Euro-porn (both in Europe and in the USA) disagree.
The US porn market is already overflooded with stereotypical gonzo releases. We don't need more of the same.
It would be preferable if the best European producers like Nacho Vidal, Toni Ribas, Christophe Clark, Rocco, Manuel Ferrara, Jean Yves LeCastel, David Perry and Steve Holmes would shoot real European porn for European companies like Goldlight, Marc Dorcel, DBM, Videorama, Magma, GGG or XXL.

Fair enough nudity, but what company are they working for, and what distributilon channels to they have, and what is the largest potential market for their product?
