I've noticed in the last few days that the forum doesn't seem to be updating properly. Only when I clicked on the 'mark all topics read in this forum' link, does it update with the latest posts. If I then click on the section link (Star Crossed, The Porn Pool etc) the latest posts disappear and it looks like the forum hasn't updated. Am I the only one having this problem?

I applied an operating system update to our caching NGING proxy server late on Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning. The updates created a big mess. Took me about 4 hours to figure out that upgraded O/S wasn't compatible with the network card drivers for 1 of the NICs in the server. While debugging this mess uninstalled a few pieces of our caching solution so that we're only running the base NGINX build without any other optimizations. This of course introduced other problems.

I'm working on fixing them now.

I assume this is just the age of the thread, but I notice when I post in this thread, it doesn't update to the top of the forum

The one that's not updating is because of some internal database inconsistencies. Those really old topics came from the UBB software that we started with back in 1999. Those topics were transitioned from UBB into a SQL server database at some point. Then the forums the topics were in got moved around. At some point along the way one of the pieces of internal organization was lost. There's a few hundred topics like this. I'm looking into it. I want to fix them all at the same time.
