I'm always wondering how do these girls make it through some of the most hardcore scenes like anal, atm, dp, double anal, gangbang, etc. What do these girls take to where they are super horny and feel know pain. I need to know what they are using?
Kami wrote: well I know I for one have no problem feeling super horney with no medical aid.
Yeah, I saw you in Butt Quest 3 and you looked really into it. That was my first time seeing you in action too. I was pretty pleased. I loved the outfit you wore as well, very sexy!
I once had a pornstar tell me that she was plenty drunk during her scene with Ed Powers. She then said that she would like to thank the Academy.
The fact is that there are probably girls who are on something during their scenes. It's the ole drug issue. However, the only people fit to talk about that are members of the industry and I am not one. However, I honestly always assume that the girls are just like Kami or Melissa and are just exquisetly horny. How often am I wrong? I have no clue.
In the "behind the scenes" of a recent Zero Tolerance disc, Ariana Jollee asks the guy that she's working with if he has a really big dick. She said that if he did, she would take some Advil (I think it was Advil, it was definitely an over the counter pain releaver: asprin, Tylenol, etc..) before the scene. It was said so non-chalantly that Mike Quasar did kind of a doubletake and said something like "what did you just say?"
The funniest part was that it had nothing to do with the anal sex, it was for the vaginal sex.
I just saw some BTS footage with an upcoming star, I don't want to say who, but she mentions taking the prescription drug Flexeril(five of them to be exact), which is a muscle relaxer, before here anal scene. I guess she took them to loosen that schpincter muscle.
I've never taken anything before a scene except allergy pills. (I'm sure there's a fetish for gals with runny noses, but I don't want to be one of them.) I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't indulge in prescription medicines. I don't like the idea of working with people who do, but sometimes that's just the way it goes.
Jesus Christ! Five Flexeril! One can't imagine how bad you would feel if you took that many, even with some tolerance to them. The anticholinergic effects alone would be horrible. Flexeril (cyclobenzeprine) isn't your user friendly muscle relaxant by any means.
i personally have never taken anything to get through a scene either. i don't do drugs, smoke and only very lightly ever have a drink off set, and then its only a small glass of wine or sake with dinner, not getting drunk.
i do my job because i love sex, i don't need to take anything to get through it. if i needed to do that, i would just quit.

For some reason, the idea that a woman be high during a scene is a turn-on.
A girl who needs pain killers to get through a scene may well need them to deal with life on her days off too.I think the emotion for a girl facing her first anal scene is fear, nor horniness. "Is it going to hurt?", "Will I mess up the shoot?", etc. I can see how someone might be tempted to use a mild painkiller before a scene.
One might wonder if the odds are higher that the male talent took a little viagra.
Finally, for those quick to criticize a girl for taking some Advil in this situation, consider that few college fratboys would ever consider being at a party without some beer to numb them. I'm not sure it's really all that different.
As for girls who aren't newbies at this sort of thing I think that practice, "stretching" exercises, and most of all knowing what to expect and how to deal with it as it goes along, is all much more useful than a painkiller if you are going to do a good scene and project "super-horny".

I would hope that a girl wouldn't even agree to do an anal scene unless it's something she happily (and painlessly) does in her private life. When I say painlessly, though, I am not talking about that wonderful tightness at the beginning of insertion. Some girls think of that as pain, but shouldn't be so painful that they want to cry.
I wouldn't have a problem with a girl who takes Advil or Motrin or something before a shoot because she's too sensitive, but having to take something to get over the "fear", to me means they're in the wrong business. And having to take something to get over REAL pain means they're just abusing their bodies.
Now I understand why Lauren Phoenix said in this interview that she doesn't use muscle relaxants. She implied that other actresses use them for anal scenes.
It's strange, over on the long running Teagan thread, the guys over there are talking about how they can see how painful her anal scene with Erik Everhard was, though they still enjoyed it (huh???). How do scenes like that make it all the way onto a final title?
Then again, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, I've seen more than a few looks of pain on the faces of actresses once the anal sex starts up in a scene, even though the women were fine during the vaginal sex part. What's odd is that I'll always mention this when I write a review of a DVD, and yet I rarely if ever see the same thing mentioned by a male reviewer. I'm not certain if they don't see it, or that they do but they feel uncomfortable writing this down for others to see.
Amazingly, no studio or director has ever written to me to tell me to revise my reviews and take this information out, and I've written these things at least 10-12 times. I guess even they know it's true, and know it's useless to dispute what I've observed.
Renee, I've commented on this "anal pain" issue - an "off the top of my head" example being a scene in Assman 14 with this week's Euro Babe of the Week, Sandra Russo, and I'm sure Speelie and other male reviewers have taken directors to task on this too.
I for one don't get off on seeing any girl in pain, even for a damn anal scene. Pretty lame. Then again, I'm more of a feature/couple film kinda guy.
As far as pain "killers" and muscle relaxants are concerned. I would think most muscle relaxants would be a problem if the sphincter tone was relaxed and the girl thus had an accident. However, I would think the anticholinergic effects of Flexeril would actually increase the tone, despite what little autonomic activity was occurring. Also, an opioid agonist (e.g., Percocet, Vicodin) actually increase the tone of smooth muscle, skeletal muscle and sphincter tone, so it would only tear a girl up if she were to take those.
I'm not sure that there's anything wrong with some medication before a scene or after if one hurts, but it shouldn't get to that level, unless that is how she wants it.
You muscles get completly loose by the end of it (usually) wether you are medicated or not. you have to make sure there is nothing in there to come out!
Yes, I see you were rather specific about your complaints with this scene. It doesn't surprise me the least that this is a title from Anabolic. I'm glad to know that you and Speelie make the effort to point out these painful anal scenes, and that they're not pleasent to watch. Still, I've compared movies that I've reviewed with what other reviewers have written, and 9 times out of 10, there's no mention of the discomfort or outright pain that an actress looks like she is having. For that matter, the same male reviewers rarely mention that an actress has had an orgasm. On the other hand, they don't miss a gape or the amount of time that a DAP lasts.
P.S. I must quote one of Gabriel Nine's better lines from this review of Assman 14: ... stupid shots of naked guys standing in line wanking like safari park chimps.... You're right, that's what the male actors often look like.
Its' kinda weird. Since I do shoots in the States, I am totally into anal. But still prefer DPs to A, like pretty much every girl in the industry. It's basically just a question of relaxation, if I used the right word for it. But it still depends on my mood, on the guys and the scene itself. Especially when the enema didn't work properly, I feel uncomfortable and get sort of cramps during the scene. Then the anal is mostly not that good. Anyway, I would never even think about using products, alcohol or drugs just so I can go painless through the scene. If you don't like to do anal, don't do it!
Well, you can amend that and say, "If you don't like to do anal, don't do it and hope you don't get branded as an "anal dodger" by the zealous fanboys that demand that porn actresses take an arm up the ass to the elbow while getting facialed by 14 interracial guys"

At the current state of porn I cannot immagine new girls not doing anal to be succesful in the biz. If a girl does not like to do anal, she´d better look for another job. This has nothing to do with zealous fanboys, it´s just porn mainstream 2004.
Painkillers seem like a solution for inexperienced girls getting over their <fear of the first time anal>, but it´s no good idea further on. I hear some numbing lubes are used sometimes. It might help to get through harder anal pounding, but mental and physical training is a much better idea.
As a porn fan, I would never ask for medication, but a true committement to the job.
PS: Thank you Renee for pointing out that male reviewers seldom mention girls orgasms. This certainly helps to convey the impression of a lot of porn fans, that girls doing porn do have to get trough some torment (which can be releaved by drugs and painkillers only).
Maybe a better question would be is what kind of drugs are some viewers on. I happen to hate seeing face slapping, choking, pain and discomfort, and so I try to avoid those kind of flicks. It doesn't matter if the chick is into it or not, it's a total buzz-kill for me.
I don't know what's more disturbing, the number of gonzo flicks with that in them or that some reviewers are so jaded that they don't even mention it.

Shameless,
I'm not sure I like the attitude:
"If a girl does not like to do anal, she´d better look for another job."
... and to say it is just about commitment to the job. I can think of plenty of non-anal performers that appear to be committed to their job, enjoy it, produce some damn hot scenes, and add to my enjoyment of porn. (Remember, you are the one that says you 'respect' your girls.)
As to the taking of something for pain, or trying to numb everything so it doesn't cause pain, I'm pretty much against it. If you feel pain, the body is trying to tell you something. Otherwise what do we do - wait for the blood to show up before we say "Houston, we have a problem"?

I was talking about <new> girls entering the porn biz now , Denver. Without doing anal they cannot build up a career today anymore - at least if we talk about gonzo.
I do respect any girls decision, at any time, including not to do anal, but I want to make sure she knows consequences for her career, job, health, etc.
Painkillers are no good of course; I was only advocating it in the vain of Tricia Deveraux in this tread. The disgusting bleeding example is just one more of this horror-stories some porn fans for some reason want to tell and hear again and again.
I just get drunk and punch my wife in the face six or seven times. After that, she's more than happy to take it in the ass without complaining. It's free -- no scrips, no trips to the bad side of town. Try it.

... ummm, cobalt - drink less before posting ... maybe?
You can say that again. I doubt there's a day that goes by here on ADT, where a fan doesn't ask about a new starlet, "Does she do anal yet? How about DP's?" The message to directors is definitely going to be: we fans want to see her, and we want to see her doing anal now! There have been 2-3 times over the past few months that a director has posted that he offered an actress more money on the day of a shoot to get her to do anal for the first time, though she was booked for a vag only scene. Even Shylock, the guy who runs Spieglergirls, once posted that he had an actress, who hadn't yet done anal yet, but that she knew one day she would have to start doing it for her career.
I would say that's plenty of pressure on any actress to do anal, and to do it pretty quickly, whether it's something she wants to do or even enjoys.
Speaking of painful anal scenes, the worst that I've seen are the ones where the actress hadn't done anal before, and the actor (who in both cases was the director and producer) convinced them halfway through their vag only scenes to try anal. It wasn't pleasant to watch, and I wrote about this in my review of the title. The funny thing was other (male) posters here on ADT have raved about how this actor/director is so gentle and thoughtful with actresses when doing anal for the first time. NOT!!!!
Probably related to the same psychology that prompts people to stage a fake rape, film it and assume there is an audience for it. Just a guess.
I'm also guessing that closing the eyes and picturing $$$ gets a lot of people through things they wouldn't normally do. Fear Factor comes to mind. And young girls having anal sex for the first time with big dicks and lack of proper attention prior to the act. It should take hours, IMHO.
I've seen scenes where the girl was obviously out of it -- and maybe it made me sad. It might make some guys rush out to get it. That might make me sadder. I might admit which camp I'm in, and you might believe me or not. Doesn't matter much to either of us in the long run, does it? If I made you think about it, I did what I set out to do.
Why do we enjoy other people's pain? Humans are violent by nature, as much as we like to pretend we've evolved past all that. Most people aren't happy when you succeed, either - they're resentful. Seeing you get yours, especially a cute thing that would never give them the time of day, might make their day.
There's a market for everything, we all know that. Thinking a girl is just so damn horny she doesn't care where you stick it is nice, but I doubt it's the rule or even the majority. I might wallow in despair that I get turned on seeing pain, but I don't look away. It's no wonder to me there are traffic delays when there's an accident on the side of the road, either. Humans are like that.
I'll keep my tasteless jokes to myself until the tension eases up some more around here. Somebody email me when things lighten up a bit. 'Til then...I really am taking a break.
I love sex expecially anal and my new found love DP's. Most girls, hopefully, have been practicing at home. I would highly recommend it. That way she and the male talent can enjoy the experience that many others are going to be enjoying watching her on DVD. With out taking something. Though, the first times Kris and I tried anal I had had surgery for ovarian cysts and I couldn't have sex for a month and boy was I horny! So, I asked him if he would fuck me in the ass. He thought I was kidding. I was on vicatin for the surgery and all I felt was pleasure. Though, after just a few times I could take it in the ass without being on anything. Which prepared me for the movies. I love my job!
You know, Shameless, you're one of the fans who posts the loudest and the most often for more DAP, and even TAP. In fact, right now, you've got two threads running in the Porn Pool, one on actresses who've done more than 10 DAP's, and why do male actors have trouble doing DAP's.
It's because of people like you, that directors rush around pressuring women to do more and more extreme anal stuff. I'll be frank here - You and others like you are partly to blame for this situation. Don't act all innocent and surprised about this.
Renee, I'm your biggest fan right now! This whole push for anal, DAPs, TAPs, and god knows what other kind of freaky shit is getting old. Maybe because I could care less about anal, especially gaping, DAPs, et cetera. What I don't like is how girls are forced by some form of peer pressure by the directors and fans to do things they probably aren't comfortable doing. A girl may like anal sex, but I'm sure her first or second time on camera with a guy she doesn't know, so on and so on, you get the point. I'm sorry, but it's like a drug pusher on the street, with the whole more money incentive for anal, you won't have any fans or make any money...it's bullshit. Even this attitude people have about girls who get contracts and stop doing gonzo. I guess they really aren't a fans of those girls.

The message is clear and I dont act innocent at all, Renee. I do want as much DAP as possible. I do want 100% anal tapes if ever possible. I dont buy or rent any dvds without anal. And I would prefer agents to convince their talent to offer anal. I wont even pretend to <act innocent> here. I ask loud for it because a lot of others dont dare doing it here. And besides, market figures do point out clear enough what todays gonzo fans want to see. BUT, please do at least try to listen to all the porn girls writing here: This has nothing to do with pain. Or not more than any other sex act, too. Ask Kami, Melissa, Renee Pornero, Pason. How many professionals more do we need to testify?
As to directors offering more money to a girl to do anal: Money is a good incentive, not to overcome pain, Renee, but to try out something new, to dare do something you might be afraid of a bit, because of cultural barriers, morals etc.
As to Shylock: Shylock just knows the market he is running his biz in. He is just honest with his girls, that´s all.

No real pain involved whatsoever. On the other hand we have porn consumers usually not knowing what the girls playing their role actually felt the day that was shot on the set, but doing everything to immagine that what they now see on dvd did involve real pain on set. So as if those porn consumers felt inconsciousely so bad, sinful or wrong about their consuming habit, that they had to convince themselfs that something bad was actually done to those girls on set.
I´d really like you to write once here about girls orgasms, only once, only at least to allow this possibility!!! - (and be it even because the girl is able to enact her rape phantasie in a safe area with professonal actors, like Sophia for instance).
I'm glad the actresses who've responded so far have said their experiences with anal sex have been positive. But for some balance, re-read what Tricia Devereax wrote. Or go look up what Amee Donavan wrote in her last few posts, about the number of anal tears she's had. Or read the last two pages of the recent Teagan thread, where even the fans can see she's in pain from an anal scene. Or how about Chico Wang posting a few weeks ago about the DAP scene he shot of Crystal Ray, where she had to stop because of the pain. Fans here on ADT then asked him to include this as bonus material somewhere, which he happily agreed to.
Or, easier yet, go and read the reviews I've written, where I have stated when I felt that an actress has been in pain or discomfort. Just click on "Browse reviews" and search for my name under reviewer. I have written about painful anal scenes at least 15 times, and these have been in titles from a variety of studios. Not once has a studio or director contacted me to refute what I have written, and ask me to revise my review. I'm certain they know that my observations are correct. Either they don't care, or they figure this is the price of doing business. Either way, I'm going to keep writing what I see, so viewers won't be unpleasantly surprised the way I have been too many times.
I also don't hold actresses accountable for these situations developing. The director should be the responsible one on the set, and I would hope that if he (or she) is seeing that things are not going well, he would cut the scene short, or have the actress do something that is easier on her. Apparently, this doesn't happen so often.
When more and more anal started showing up, I was kind of annoyed and bored. Still am that way, basically. It can be good, but I don't need it. When I first saw fisting, I had to check it out, and it was a turn-on to see something so extreme, but now, I don't seek it out. And the same for peeing, and some other things. What I always come back to is good lookers first, hot performance second, and the "hotness captured" third. That is, the great sexy look, pose, scene, act, blowjob, or whatever. Just one of those things. Sometimes just a hot solo performance is the best boner inducer.
About anal pain - which 'behind the scenes' had the girl putting some cream down there to relieve the pain? This was mildly interesting, but not erotic. I think the damage was done from all the rubbage, probably got a raw spot. The scene went on about 18 of 20 minutes too long for me anyway.
I post this just to cast my vote that anal isn't everything. I could even make do with no more anal ever. And spare me the gapers. Jeezus.
Well, I'm not calling the stars here liars, but isn't that sort of the point? Fans demand more and more and the starlets wouldn't dare admit they aren't into it because that would risk their livelihood and marketability. I wouldn't be surprised if stars said that getting triple penetrated in the ear with a foot in their ass while being slapped across the tits with a cold fish as they're hanging upside down by their labia was the HOTTEST SEX EVER if suddenly that became the newest thing.
Seriously... how many girls enjoy eating cum out of someone's ass or ass gaping? Porn these days is becoming Fear Factor with sex. If you're not gonna do anal or other shit, it's not "don't do what you're not comfortable with", it's "get the fuck out, there's another bitch waiting in line who'll do anything I want her to."
y'know, Plaid... you're right. I ALWAYS have a skeptic eye when I hear "but I really enjoy doing anal and dp's..." I'm sure some of these girls deal with it okay, but c'mon.
Still, what the hell good would it do for Kami to say "god, I hate anal, but what do you think, guys, do I look like I'm enjoyin' it?" Stick with your line. It basically works.
Anyway, enjoying your work might mean that you put up with the challenges, take the cash with a wink, and thank god you're not getting dorked by a bunch of drunk frat boys at parties for a sawbuck. Even the guys have to do SOME work in porn, and hell, they are getting good sex!
Plaid_Retina : Seriously... how many girls enjoy eating cum out of someone's ass or ass gaping? Porn these days is becoming Fear Factor with sex. If you're not gonna do anal or other shit, it's not "don't do what you're not comfortable with", it's "get the fuck out, there's another bitch waiting in line who'll do anything I want her to." ____________________________________________________________ Let's not forget, porn is entertainment. Alot of people want to see stuff they can't do themselves or just like to see what's sexually possible like DAP's. It's not tottally about what the girls or guys in porn enjoy, it's about what the consumers pay to see. Entertainers in many fields make sacrifices to please the public. Just because sex is the form of entertainment makes no difference. If things get too tough, their are plenty of other careers available to go into. A career in porn is a choice and I'm sure most girls who choose this field know all about the extreme stuff that some of their potential fans want to see.
All that aside, my objection was with that performers can't really have "if you don't want to do it, just don't" without being tarred by it. I understand and agree with the, "if you don't like it, do something else" tack, but again... that's sorta my point.
Well, and on that thread, after the discussion of the painful anal, there is this post:
Seen Teagan's 2 scenes for RLD. Was impressed but she can do better. Hopefully she can take on 2 BIG dicks at the same time slowly moving her way to doing DPs on camera & even some Big Black Guys on film.
Emphasis mine. Basically, there are a huge amount of fans that don't care what the girls experience, as long as they get what they want. I guess these sweet young things resally are just pieces of meat in the regard of some -- I am just using the comment as an example not trying to single anyone out (so, apologies in that regard, but I felt the rhetorical comment was germane to the thread).
That said, I enjoy watching anal sex in these films, but it surely isn not mandatory in my book. If a girl digs it, fantastic -- otherwise, why the rush?
It's true without doing anal you will have a though time to make your income as prongirl nowerdays, (unless you are so lucky to get an immediate contract with a major label)
but that doesn't mean you have to accept every kink some idiots cry for. Just say no to DPP,DAP, swallowing, whatever,,, if your not comfortable with it. U say there will be other girls doing your job? well maybe, but can they replace YOU ? It needs more than the physical ability to do a DAP to get a hot performance that turns the viewer on.
the fans of extreme acts are the loudest here at ADT, but they're noway the majority of pornwatchers. different rules apply to cable porn, anyway.
So don't worry about if s1 here bitches at you for not doing this or that, just don't give a damn, or if you feel like it strike back in some way.
