Anyone knows if we can expect more new Frank Thring directed movies from Private?

At least I could. I doubt that was Thrings intention, though. I really like some of his scenes, most however is just unbearable badly shot. Lea De Mae, Daniella Rush, Monica Sweetheart lead a stunning crew of women in a superbly shot film which also had sexy-as costumes. One of the reasons this film works so well, is the way she shoots it (no trickery) and the excellent lighting. Nevermind the saucy plot and the stunning locales, the sex carries you along. His other work is patchy. I've not seen all of FETISH THERAPY but it looks almost as good as ACADEMY, but the reviews suggest otherwise. DEVIATION was a bit boring. FETISH HOTEL was fabulous, but SEX CLUB not so much. Then there's PERVERSIONS OF THE DAMNED which is universally derided. It's crap. THE BRIDE WORE BLACK should've been great - but it's not really, despite some of the ACADEMY starlets returning. The more lavish camera style and extravagant surrounds didn't really add to Thring's fetishy feel. I don't mind THE CLUB actually. It's try-hard Tanya Hyde, but there's still some hot sex in all that stylism. I'd be interested to see what people make of THE CULT. Victoria SWinger is such a honey, it's nice to see they got her as lead for a film. [Link] |
