Just finished watching Full Anal Access 2. Great movie, but the most annoying thing is the picture quality, it seems soft and you see theses glowing blueish edges.Anybody else has the same problem?

Look here

Look around her head, breast and stockings. Its visible in almost every scene, specially on the dark ones.

Hmm not sure but my copy had something of the same...I even commented on it to Larry

Check out the review here
But heres an expert:
"This movie gets a 9.5. The reason it didn't get a 10, was a VERY picky thing, but somewhat annoyed me, so much I deducted the .5, and that was the blurry looking picture."

I rented the dvd and it too
had the same problems. I didn't know if it was just
my copy (but now it seems
not) and it stopped me from
ordering what I thought was
a great video. It had Taylor
Rain's best dp and the Julie Robbins scene was great too. But the images were fuzzy
or slightly of focus with
a blueish glow around the
peoples eyes and faces.
But the behind the scenes
stuff looked sharp and
perfectly fine. (Different
camera?) First time I've
ever encountered a problem
with Platinum X dvd. They're
a very good company. But
either there were slight
camera problems on this
one--and it still has great scenes--or there were problems
on the manufacturing of some
of the dvds. And this if thread isn't getting that
many responses, it's probably
because not as many people
read the tech forum. I don't
usually check it much myself,
but I wish the problem on this
dvd could be addressed so it
could be avoided in the future. I like Platinum X.

Sammyboy, I agree I like PXP, but I have seen this in a couple of their videos, FAA#2 and a another recent title, Feeling Black.

The names of all the girls were very blurry looking, but scene two was the most memorable of the scenes for the blurry picture.

I know what problem you're talking about in certain PXP movies. On my DVD players (one's a new Panasonic, the other is a new computer DVD-ROM), I can see what looks like a bluish-green line around any dark object that is against a light background. It was most noticeable for me in PXP's Fresh New Faces #2, in the Janet Taylor scene, you can see it where her dark hair is framed by the back wall

The rest of this DVD looks better, but even in the next scene with Mason Storm, there is a yellowish haze next to some color's, like the picture frames on the back wall, and the straps on her shirt.

I checked out Euro Girls Never Say No #3, and in that film, I can just barely make out the bluish-green haze next to Sandra Romain's dark hair in Scene 1. I also noticed that I don't see any haziness during the segments shot outdoors.

Some people probably notice this sort of thing more than others, not because of different DVD quality amongst discs, but because some people have much better color perception than others, and can pick up differences in colors quicker, expecially between light and dark colors.

Even with this haziness, I still enjoyed the films. I actually mind much more when the sound is off in a film, and I can't make out what the actors are saying.

My copy had none of the blueish edges either. Perfect video for me, which is why I rated it highly.

Sounds like some people have good dics and a couple don't... Glad to see PXP is willingly exchanging those for you.
