Oh yes! I love the 'Gag Factor' series. It's the most brilliant conceprual leap forward porn has ever taken. Whoever came up with the idea of have the girl's hang their heads upside down while the guy piston pumps into their mouth as hard as is humanly possible (or inhumanly possible, as it were) is a genius. Not only does this maximize the discomfort and degradation (the spit/phlegm runs into their eyes and hair), but the upside down position is a powerful visual metaphor, i.e. a literal subversion paralleling the horrendous subversion of the perversion being practiced. Once girls start lining up to volunteer for this sort of treatment (the series is up to #11!) all bets are of as far as where porn is heading. These are cultural artifacts, worthy of a time capsule.
You know... you guys can like what you like, I suppose. More power to ya, but I can't let ATM's comments go by without raising a voice of dissent.
It is MY contention that Gag Factor and several series like it, have done a great deal to destroy what is good about porn.
Be aware that this comment is not made to incite flames... and is not a comment on those who like this kind of content--it's just a differing opinion that I feel I have to voice lest porn producers start to think that there aren't a large number of people who disagree with you. ;-)
I have yet to review Gag Factor 7, which wasn't as bad as I thought it be, though I prefer eye contact, into the eyes. Upside down view gets a little annoying, after watching it be the same in all the scenes.
I actually found #7 to be quite good, a few moments I didn't care for.
I don't know if the rest are like this, but I'm sure they are, so if you don't mind a little repitition, this isn't as bad a series as I thought.
---This is BIGmike saying "10-4 good buddy, over and out, see ya on the downside!"---
You may be right Max Booty. I actually half-regret posting what I did, being that it could be taken as hypocritical and indefensable. And maybe it is--I'll admit I'm going through a bit of a rediscovery of myself lately when it comes to porn. If ATM's post was pure sarcasm then yes, it seems he and I would agree. Judging by his previous posts in this forum, however... I don't think he was being sarcastic.
Regardless, we all like what we like and I won't fault anyone for that. I just personally find what I've seen of the Gag Factor series to not make ANY attempt at portraying anything remotely resembling female pleasure or even active participation. This is what turns me off to it, and indefensable or not, this is why I said what I said in my first post... and I stand by it. Perhaps as BIGmike intimates, they've gotten better in this regard as the series has matured. I've only had the "pleasure" of seeing a couple of scenes from a couple of the earlier releases. At that point, as with Max Hardcore, I decided I was done with it. :)
I don't mean to take your thread away from you Hardz. :)
I've been keeping an eye on your 'rediscovery ' of late, and am just glad you haven't locked this thread, based on your "if she ain't liking it, I ain't liking it" views.
A rumor on the RAME newsgroup claims that the goddess Aria Giovanni will be in the next Gag Factor. Normally I don't care for Gag Factor videos, but I guess I would have to buy one with Aria.
