I'd just like to hear simple comments about gay movies you have in your collection or would recommend or if you know of some coming out. ie: Best in Show is coming out soon...anyone see it? I missed it but heard good things about it. The most recent one I've seen that I enjoyed was Chuck and Buck ...kind of quirky and probably won't be for everyone but I thought it was original and well done. [Link] |

It was about him coming up HIV pos, but they did a good job of not making the movie a downer. Another one I liked, although Hollywoodbitchslap gave it a "Sucks All Ass" rating was The Velocity of Gary. I have Trick and Edge of Seventeen as well. Both of those are really good. I saw Alive and Kicking at Outfest too. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Saw Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss again on cable a few weeks ago. I was pretty surprised, I enjoyed it a lot more the second time I watched it. [Link] |

Be forewarned though it does have some unusual semi-violence...and the subject may not be for everyone. Edge of Seventeen is one of my faves too! The tale of a high school student in the small town of Sandusky, Ohio circa 1984 (a year when 80s pop-culture was in it's prime) who comes to terms with his homosexuality much to the astonishment of his long-time girlfriend.
