I've read all the news from this forum on Falcon and how they have been really slow in releasing any of their films on to DVD, but I want to know why so many of the other large studios seem to stick with VHS?
I've seen some fabulous titles on VHS from Catalina and Mustang and want to know if they'll ever transfer on to DVD? Are Mustang and Catalina owned by Falcon ?

Mustang is a Falcon studio (as well as Jocks). So I would assume that eventually, they will start putting out Mustangs DVDs.

Catalina is a different story though. I haven't heard of any DVD plans from them. I'm curious, though... What catalina video have you seen that you thought was good? The last good catalina film I saw was CatalinaVille, and that was like 3 years ago!

Thanks for that Joeblow69.

I haven't actually seen any Catalina films recently either but surfing and checking out the various studios, I've seen many titles that look really hot like "Ace in the Hole" from Catalina. I like the ruggedly handsome types of guys that appear on the box covers anyway! Just assumed that Catalina was a pretty safe bet when it comes to quality. Am I wrong!??
Also, since I've had no response to my question in the "shopping" forum, I'll ask you guys: Has anyone had any experience of buying from redlightvideo.com ? I haven't noticed any references to them in this forum and yet they appear to sell avery large range of gay films? What's more, has anyone had films sent to UK without problems??

Thanks -

I've never dealt with them. but they have been around awhile. So I imagine they are a fairly safe bet. Though for Gay titles the safest bets are sites like gayDVDempire or TLA.

Richard,

I hadn't heard of redlightvideo before either. I went and checked them out, though, and their prices seemed kind of high. Unless they have some really good shipping policies to the UK, I wouldn't bother.

Case in point, they have all of their Kristen Bjorn DVDs at $59.95. (even the really old ones like Comrades in Arms and A World of Men, which you can get for $35 a piece at AdultDVDAdvantage)
