Lately, I've become bored with the porn released these days. Don't get me wrong; high quality, hot women, all of it is amazing. But I was just getting bored. For me it feels all the same. Even the shooting locations are the same. I recognize kitchenware and art on the walls. Plus, throw in scenes that stretch past an hour, I just became bored of it.

So, I decided to go back in time to where it all started for me. 1997. When I purchased my first porn on VHS. "Primarily Yours" starring Asia Carrera. Seeing Jeanna Fine, Stacy Valentine, and Sindee Coxx brought back so many memories.

Now, I'm doing a rewatch of all 16 movies in the Babe Watch series! One of my favorites from two decades ago. Maybe I'm looking back with rose tinted glasses, but the idea of watching my favorites from when I started my deep dive into porn is just exciting.

I tend to watch more scenes from the 90s and early 2000s than newer scenes. I think some of it is just nostalgia since that's when my porn collecting really took off, but a lot of it is just great porn too. I still watch and enjoy dozens of series from that era like Seymore and Shane, Shane's World, Gangbang Auditions, Gangbang Girl, The Blowjob Adventures of Dr. Fellatio, Asseaters Unanimous, just about everything from Anabolic and Diabolic, anything directed by Joey Silvera (especially his Butt Row series), anything by Tom Byron, the Sodomania series. I could go on, but I think anyone gets the idea that I like porn from those days.

As for the models I liked, that's a long list too. Inari Vachs, Tammi Ann, Shawna Edwards, Allison Pierce, Allie Sin, Katie Gold, Fiona Cheeks, Anastasia Blue... and on and on.

I recently renewed my subscription to Bang.com and they have a lot of great titles from that era and are worth checking out.

Surely many other ADT members share this interest in porn from that time.

I too share the same feeling . Creativity was high back then looking at how popular entire video series volumes would be . Also my belief is that modern videography is at a point where it captures all goods and bads in such high details that it reduces the experience . Back then scenes used to have that certain mystery, a certain intriguing character to them which made the viewing experience more pleasurable.Don't get me wrong modern videography is great but I feel it has that drawbacks to it.

What I'm finding with these older movies is the pacing is just great. Today, it's feels like an iron man session is needed to get through these long scenes. It's nice having a break in the action and watching the plot unfold. And the plots are terribly hilarious.

The length of the scenes feels perfect. For me 20 minutes is the sweet spot. Enough time for foreplay, oral and multiple positions. Today, a 55 minute blowjob with 30 of those minutes being the strip tease/masturbation is just too much for me.

And now I'm finding the "porno music" is pleasant again. I remember being so against music in scenes that I ended up ignoring good scenes.

I miss when every video wasn't at least 40% POV.


I miss when directors weren't trying to get girls to re-enact Goatse (it's actually kinda made me miss cable edits)
