Hi all, I am not sure if this is the right place on the website to post this or even if there is a better website for these questions but this place seemed closest to what i was looking for from googles choices. Basiclly i have a number of questions to ask about getting started in the porn business. Not for me but for my girlfriend...soon to be wife. She isa not able to work and so we wanted to do a bunch of movies in a short amount of time to save up approx 25k or so to put towards a house. I have several questions I was looking for help with so is this a good place to post them or is there a better place to post my questions? Thanks in advance
If your wife is absolutely gorgeous and does everything then the shoots will come faster than most. If she's average and has limitations, then it's going to be a hard sell and you may not make your goal in allotted time. I'm not trying to sound rude, but these are the facts. You're going to be competing for work with countless other girls with similar hopes and dreams. It's going to come down to who has the stronger sales pitch and hustle. An agent will help speed up the process... but which one to choose? I'm not touching that one with a ten foot pole because I honestly can't say who's reputable or not. The bigger ones are able to get you work, but they also have a stable of girls looking for the same thing. Plus, your wife has to be way above average to get signed up. There are smaller ones, and they can't get you work... but you won't come close to the 25k mark. Long story short... there is still good money in porn, but it's far from the golden era. No one is making what they used to, yet more people are involved in it now. Be prepared to fight for exposure. Thank you for replying That gives us a start. As far as the limitations you were talking about thats where I had some questions. The main thing is that she has a bad speech impedement so she talks like a deaf person talks and most people cant understand her and think shes either deaf or retarted. She was raised by her grandparents who took her out of public school young to homeschool her because they were unhappy with the poor public schools here but they never taught her anything and have literately treated her like she was 8 years old all this time..so there is no way she can work a normal job. As far as looks she is a solid 9 out of a 10 with a great body and face. I know alot of girls in porn need alot of makeup but she has a beautiful face with no makeup at all. She has not been having sex long at all but she does anal, ass to mouth, really anything ive seen in movies so she does do everything. So dollar wise how much can you make per movie or scene or whatever for a amatuer and what is the best city to go to if you want to do alot of movies in say a months time? Thanks
Part of being a good performer is being able to talk sexy in the scenes, as well as in interviews and such, so her speech may hinder her ability to rise to the top of the field. Being super hot and doing anything sex-wise will certainly help her, but I do worry about that speech thing. Especially once the haters take to twitter and start making fun of her. Is your wife prepared for that? People can get really nasty when hiding behind a computer screen. Other than that, I have no concrete advice to give. I'm not an insider in the biz. However, there are many porn business people here on ADT (including one who has already replied to you above), and hopefully they'll have some more advice for you. Good luck with your search.
I agree with killbillvol69 on the speech impediment. Having the ability to speak in a sexy tone greatly increases the value of a model. A lot of porn consists of interviews. This may prove to be awkward sounding. No disrespect to your future wife intended. Here's my honest and best advice... If she's as hot as you say, get her on cam. She can perform solo (or with you) on sites like naked.com / streamate.com etc... Those are reputable and she can make good money if she puts in a full day's work. She can work on her own terms, her own hours, etc... I think you also need to forget about making 25k in a month, though. Most stars are being paid $700 to $1200 a scene tops in LA. With that math, she'd have to work like 25 days in a month to potentially make that goal. It's not very realistic. Here's the game plan... 1) Get her on cam. 2) Get her a twitter account. 3) Constantly tweet pictures, follow industry folks, tweet to them saying you want to work with them. 4) Be persistent and understand that nothing happens overnight. Making 25k is extremely doable... but it's not going to happen that quick. One last thing... and killbillvol69 touched on this... remember that porn is forever. Long after she's your wife and your house is bought and she's long quit... those videos/images are going to linger. Not everyone is nice on the internet... in fact, most aren't. Make sure you drive it into her head that people can be mean. The stigma of being a porn star can follow you for years. Be prepared. Again... best of luck.
Please consider that if you want to net 25k, you'll probably have to gross at least 40k. The companies that pay her will probably have to cut her a 1099 at the end of the year. One copy goes to your wife, one to the IRS, and one to the state in which she works (if the state has an income tax). I doubt many companies pay cash because then they wouldn't be able to deduct the expense for their talent, which is probably their biggest expense of all. If you're lucky, they'll classify her as a W-2 employee, and she won't have to pay self-employment tax, which is 15.3%. But she won't escape income tax. Best of luck to the both of you.

While this isn't a new point its still an interesting one and the consequences could be far reaching. What about when you have kids and word somehow gets out that their mom was in porn. A case in point would be the case a few months ago of Seymour Butts' kid. He's 16-17 and ran away from Butts and supposed caught a bus somewhere. Given that his parents were well known stars the level of taunting could be outrageous given the level of pornification in today's society. Give the general nature of boys being boys in the locker room and making comments about each other's moms and sisters, it takes on a whole new level when it's actually true as I'm sure the kid heard more than once, "Dude, your dad makes your mom do Ass to Mouth!"
I'm wondering if there is a kink for deaf girls. Of course that audience probably isn't large enough to net a fast $25K, but maybe the problem is an asset.Although this comes across as prurient and self-serving, he makes a solid point. Once she posts one naked photo, it will be on the internet forever. If you guys aren't prepared to deal with that, then it probably isn't a wise choice.

^While it's always nice to see pictures of other guy's girlfriends or wives, the underlying message was twofold. One, a shot here would help create some interest in her, and secondly the girl posing for a few forum shots would put her "willingness" to actually do porn front and center versus some guy blindsiding the girl based on his on desires.
Ok sorry I have not been able to check the messages here our computer has been messed up! I appreciate all the input thoughI think this is what we are gonna look at doing and seems to be the best bet. We are checking out both of these sites. We will need a new computer for this though because ours is older and has alot of problems. But this is great that she can work from home and do things on our terms.
Right now though she is gonna go for a porn interview to get some cash to get started. We found a porn company online about an hour and a half away from us and talked to them on the phone and she is going in a week and a half to interview. We have to go to this place they are sending us to to have a sti test this week...(i assume this is the same as a std test?) and then she is not to have sex after that. They are actually treating her to a free spa visit there first from 9:30am to 12pm that morning free of charge and i thought that was a cool thing to do. I have seen "porn audition" things online but they never really said she was going to have to have sex during this..they just asked a bunch of questions and said they would interview her. so should we assume that they are gonna expect her to have sex during this interview? They said I would not be able to be present but they will give me all the paperwork to look over and can pick her up about 6-7pm. Also should we expect to be paid anything if she does have to have sex during the interview? I know this is a bunch of questions but I appreciate everyone's help. Again we are actually looking at doing the cam site route but really just need some cash to get started. One of the things they asked is what kind of money we were looking to make and I said $2500-3000 and he said that that was very possible. There's an old adage that goes "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." There's another that goes "there's a sucker born every minute!" Both apply in this case, as nothing is free in porn. You don't think the testing and spa are actually free do you? What do you think in going to happen between 12 and 7 with you not around? The only interview lasting that long with be for the top position at a major company not some low rent porn outfit. Pass on this one.
She is not gonna be doing that anymore or any porn for that matter. She interviewed to do a couple of porn movies with a company about 1.5 hrs from here and they treated her very badly and messed up her butt inside to where we had to go to the ER the next day. it was not so bad that night but the next morning her insides were burning so much and cramping up we had to go. They did test to make sure inside her butt wasnt torn or leaking and it was not but very inflamed. This is gonna cost us a ton of money we dont have and they want to do another test this next week. They did not do any of the stuff they said they were gonna do and they put a blindfold on her basiclly the whole time which was very disrespectful to her. We called a lawyer and talked to his assistnat about 5-10 mins and he wont look at any of it unless we have $2500 which we dont and they didnt give her any copies of all the paperwork she signed which im sure is probably illegal.
^I know I'm too late in writing something but this is the first time I have read this thread and I'm not even sure the person I'm writing this will ever read it but in case he does then here goes. What were you thinking when you came up with the idea that it would be a good idea for your future wife to do porn to earn money? Unless you have been out of touch with anything to do with porn than it should be obvious that you never do what you were thinking of doing unless you are willing to live with the consequences. You don't get into porn to make quick cash because you are going to come out a loser in the end. The fact that you thought you could earn 25,000$ of the back of your S.O. does not bode well for the relationship. If you can't afford to support her with your job than get another one. Living in an apartment isn't necessarily as nice as having your own home but at least you can afford that. It's clear that earning 25,000$ doing porn to be able to put a down payment on a house was a horrible idea because you would still have had an issue with the mortgage afterwards. If you truly love your girlfriend than apologize for the porn idea(hopefully she forgives you), get a second or third job to be certain you can take care of her and save, save, save until you can afford a modest house whose mortgage won't bankrupt you.
