Could not agree more with you. Magdalene was an absolute super star and I never understood why she was sidelined despite being hugely popular. She did not retire and often commented that she was wanting to do more scenes. Same here, with one or two notable exceptions, Syren being one, the majority of the "moms" in the increasingly tame taboo scenes are often only about 4 years older than the (step)daughter and therefore Magdalee was probably deemed to be too old.

I mentioned this once I think in the GFF thread; that if the minds behind MissaX and AHL would partner with GFF or wrote/directed for them - GFF could actually become the hottest studio again. Don't get me wrong, GFF isn't obscure but the heydays of their taboo offerings from Imperfect Angels to the Mother Daughter Exchange Club to Cheer Squad Sleepovers to Lesbian Triangles are long gone. You see it reflected in shorter scenes with often less buildup and foreplay. Part of what made GFF stand out was authenticity, they didn't set a timer for their scenes and tell the talent that they only got 28-34 minutes. They let them do their own thing and that was the difference maker. I feel like realistically speaking, it's easier to create a G/G taboo scene than a B/G taboo scene due to the history of men. G/G taboo is more psychological in nature but with B/G, there's always the implied risk of physical harm which takes the fun out of it. Overall, I find far more credible G/G taboo scenes than B/G taboo ones - very difference type of chemistry at work.
Scarlett Sage, Nina Hartley & Dee Williams - Adult Times - Our Family
In this family there is a tradition that is passed down from one generation to the next when the girl gets introduced to sex by her (step)mother, just like her (step)mother before her. The cast has Scarlett Sage learning the tradition on her 18th birthday from her (step)mother, Dee Williams. Several rules (and possibly laws) mean that persuasive seduction, coercive-like, and reluctance is difficult to do these days. Events in real life against real people had an impact on the porn industry. [Removed examples.] Certain terms in a search comes back "some content has been blocked by your country. Find out more: URL" When I forget the name of a scene and go by the setup.
The Viv Thomas "Be My Slave: Reloaded" (2017) has been retitled "Be Mine: Reloaded" and scene 1 "Coerced" has been changed to something else. (The idea behind the film was showing women who can only get off by being dominate over others)
Way back in 2005 the first scene of "Pink Velvet 3" has Lisa seduce Lolita. It older/younger as well. Briefly, Lolita (a young guest at Lisa's hotel/motel, along with her parents), is sitting in the shallow end of a pool, Lisa comes in and seduces her. You don't see much as it's mostly below the water, but Lisa is at her seductive best. Not sure you'd get that now, the characters would have to agree explicitly.
"Lesbian Office Seductions 6" (Sweetheart Video, 2008). Scene 6: Blackmail, coercion. "Are you grateful? Are you?!" Hints that she could ruin any chance of a career for the worker.
The lack of seduction or persuasion I think spoils some scenes. "Getting Some Disciplinary Action" (Lez Be Bad, 2025-12-05) the worker told not to open certain packages, does so. But where's the discipline, they are both willing participants, not even a hint of the younger worker being reluctant.
"Wet For Women (1)" (Girlfriends Films, 2015) scene 1 with Scarlet Red & Tara Morgan and Aidra Fox & Jodi Taylor The beginning is a challenge where Aidra and Jodi bet with Scarlet and Tara about who can go further. The reluctance of Tara-Scarlet makes it all the more illicit.
"The Mommy Trap" with India Summer, Chloe Foster, Jane Wilde (Mommy's Girl, 2018-06-12) India is reluctant from the beginning: cheat on her GF, get involved with her whomever it's supposed to be.
This is a complicated topic. I don't think seduction has been "banned" in the industry although it's incredibly difficult to see a scene where an older woman seduces a younger one nowadays. I think now the industry wants to show mutual consent between the characters and the laziest way to do this is showing scenes with silly plots (sometimes the plot doesn't exist) and humorous characters. It's so sad to see what happened to Mommy's Girl and, on the other hand, some scenes from Allherluv make me think the hope is revived.
I wasn't saying that seduction has been banned, although I think it's difficult to show seduction without it coming across as something else (we're not dealing with thespians proficient in the dramatic arts). Thus, you're right about the silly plots, if any plot exists. The comment was principally in response to a few posts about wanting to see coercion or at least reluctance, though those comments were 1, 1½, 2 years ago.
As well as Mommy's Girl series I think Fantasy Massage/All Girl Massage has also changed. Often previously it was meant to be seductive and show the "client" more surprised. There probably can't even be silent agreement, it has to be stated explicitly.

don't feel like there's a need to only exhibit taboo behavior in porn through fauxcest, one of my favorite scenes to watch is with the incredible Sinn Sage and Georgia Jones where Sinn Sage plays a fellow employee who goes to town eating Georgia out under the desk at work while she has to answer a few phonecalls. Done incorrectly, that would come across as corny but Georgia's reactions make it work. Why have we never had a scene that I am aware of in which a female cop or pair of female detectives abuse their power over potential suspects or witnesses proving that they can be as creepy as the men? There's this weird boundary between GG and BG where BG scenes are allowed to cross lines that GG scenes apparently can't which reduces the number of taboo options. Corrupt doctors, sadistic nurses, blackmail, a shady loan officer at a bank branch who wants illicit repayment in exchange for doing a favor, maybe a bicurious woman who thinks she's taking advantage of a blind old female patient only to find out later that the patient isn't blind at all. I would love to see Rocky Greenwood write a taboo lesbian version of the Usual Suspects in which the iconic getaway scene with Kevin Spacey is recreated by a female criminal mastermind.
^ Yes, I agree that close-relationships isn't the only route, only perhaps the easiest to portray and understand/feel. It is also, I suppose, the most common, with sites, or channels focusing on it: Mommy's Girl, Family Sinners, etc, etc. I'm almost sure there's been a scene with at least elements of blackmail in GG porn. "Sharing the Bed" scene 3 with Sasha Heart and Syren De Mer is older younger, but unrelated: Sasha doesn't want to have sex with her GF's mother, but Syren demands it viciously. "Working Girl in Custody" (Viv Thomas, 2014) sounds like it'd be fitting, but it's clear the prostitute is all too willing from the very beginning. "New Fish in the Pond" with Drea Diamond, Jenna Jay, and Alice March (Film: "Make Her Submit"; Team Skeet, 2016). Bullying of the new girl and sex in a school classroom. I'm sure in a LHH, WSW, MDEC there'd be more than one instance of some nastier aspects. It's rather tricky because I had been largely focused on more sensual aspects and have avoided the darker elements in both BG and GG. Curiously, I thought there was a belief that blackmail, sadism, shadiness isn't as bad when it's GG. Just like that idea it isn't really cheating.

Well, I leave here three scenes I think are taboo and very good:
First one from Allherluv, Rich Bitch part 2, in which Anna Claire Clouds character is thedaughter of a rich entrepeneur kidnapped by a revolutionary group for ransom. The leader of the group, Jayden Cole, interrogates her and there is a lot of seduction until Anna Claire ends up joining the group because of her father not wanting to pay, leaving her betrayed. Both have really hot sex and they moved into really delightful pstsures.
The second one is from Girlsway, Almost caught with the babysitter, also starring Jayden Cole. Here she's a woman called by her neighbors to take care of thire child of a couple. I don't watch BG so I don't have a reference to make a comparison, but all the scenarios you have mentioned are present in some nowadays scenes. However, they are usually shown as parodies or included in unrealistic storylines or distorted by threesomes, foursomes, etc.
