Second, I have said multiple times that my reviews are subjective. If the sex scenes resonate with me, I like them; if not, I simply do not watch them again. For me, storylines should be included, but as I mentioned before, I prefer scenes with passionate sex featuring strong chemistry, engaging body language, and a significant focus on the foreplay phase before oral sex. That's why I appreciate Mike Quasar's direction-he invests more time in making the sex scenes intense rather than placing too much emphasis on the storyline. Objectively, every director has his own style, mate, which I can't argue with. I may prefer one director over another; that's my choice. I respect every director's work, including B. Skow. He had his own vision for shooting, which I often felt was not good-that's all. Ricky Greenwood has his own style, as do Craven Moorehead (Allherluv) and Alanx (She Seduced Me). It's just that directors sometimes fail to understand what a woman's body is like when shooting sex scenes in porn. A woman's body consists of both upper and lower parts, all of which deserve attention and appreciation during sexual activities. The director tends to focus more on the vaginal area rather than the entire body, which is why I often dislike scenes where there is an imbalance between the foreplay phase and oral sex. Mike Quasar's scenes currently strike a balance that no studio, including GFF Studio, is offering me right now. Even then, in Lesbian Sister-in-Laws 3, I particularly enjoyed Scene 2, featuring Kate Dalia and Khloe, and Scene 4, featuring Scarlett and Lilly Bell. The same quality was present in the first two scenes of My Lesbian Daughter-in-Laws 3, as well as the scene with Isa Bella and Scarlett Moon ("Married to Him, Craving Her"). All the scenes I mentioned showcase the type of lesbian sex scenes I prefer. Please note, I am not referring to the storylines here-that should be included and can be unique, but they are secondary for me and not my top priority.
I have a similar subjective opinion about BG porn; I am very selective when it comes to it. That's why, most of the time, I prefer only Vixen.com scenes, and even then, only one-on-one scenes. I enjoy scenes from Bellesa Films and Pure Taboo, especially when they create scenes like "The Housekeeper" and "Taste for Older Men," respectively. Deeper.com and Tushy.com may be earning more than Vixen.com, but I don't like their content because I'm not a fan of anal sex or rough kind of sex. In fact, I only liked one scene from Deeper.com, which featured Gianna Dior and Mick Blue in a scene called "Unlocked" that was released in 2018.

They don't find that Captain Jack reviews are objective or complete, but they believe that sometimes yours are (more objective and mention the non-sex stuff)! Given that you don't do this professionally, that's very impressive and shows how passionate you are about it. Personally I dislike reviews which are more a synopsis of the action which takes place. I don't need/want to read what happens, I want to read everything around that: chemistry/connection, shot composition, story, general "feeling" of how erotic it is or not. But it appears to just be me, people seem to love even frame by frame images in a "review". I don't need Captain Jack telling me that a pair of legs do something (see Straight Girls review), it doesn't in the slightest matter to me, considering people have legs to walk, that's what they do!
I too think it's an unfair comparison of the BG (or any multiples there of) offered in VMG and GG offered anywhere else. I don't find that BG comes anywhere near the sensual eroticism and romanticism of GG, that's what attracted me to it in the first place. We appear to be largely in agreement that preferably there ought to be a longer, if not better, pre-sex story. Then when it comes to sex, that really depends on the style they're after. I for one want to see that connection of "body worship" between the two (harder to do with more, but the occasional multiple can be in contrast), the slow, sensual, movement of almost devouring their lover entirely. So many scenes these days the performers go from a couple of minutes kissing to gazing at the pussy and fingering (okay oral, or the approximation of it might be included). Although I did watch ...Vajacial (All Girl Massage, 2026) which has plenty of build-up (36 minutes), yet very low in actual seductive, erotic, arousing, sensual action until sudden and inexplicable oral.
All that's really needed is a person with the wherewithal to capture the action well while letting something spontaneous happen, if it can, and the connections, dosh, and intention to book people who like and/or are good at doing stuff with other women so that rare, organic moments have a bit better chance at happening.
The more fake and poorly-acted the GG sex in a video is, the less difference there will be when a video generator tries to.copy it.
I can't wait for normal, human behavior to be the big thing in GG, which is inevitable as the bots git gud at replacing the low-quality fake-behavior slop with low-quality bot-made slop that looks exactly the same. Just a matter of time.

When I say Mike is the only director who currently provides genuine kissing sequences, breast worship, and the warming of each other's bodies before depicting oral sex, I mean it sincerely. Then fans say there is too much formulaic, pre-scripted content, darker camera work, and, last but not least, they want to watch videos in 4K. Additionally, you don't know whether they are watching his videos legally or not.

From what I’ve read and researched about GF Films over the past many years, GFF doesn’t have that many people working in the studio. Earlier, it was mainly Dan, along with Sabrina and maybe some Candy Girl staff, who were involved in the generation of his movies/scenes. Even during the B. Skow era, there weren’t many people involved, so basically, the vision for writing and shooting depended on just a few people. Now, after watching their latest movie, LS Volume 83, I have a real doubt was the whole movie actually made by B. Skow, or was there some involvement from a new director as well?

If you go on GFF blog, every movie there is reviewed by the Captain instead of anyone else. In other words, they are not getting alot of feedback from anyone else through said reviews because nobody else is putting it on their doorstep. Considering they rank at the top of independent studios, I don't see them disappearing by any means. Depending on what site you go with - their revenue is supposedly anywhere from 5 to 31 million which is hardly shabby and more than enough to keep going. Normal human behavior? That does not sell: Fast & Furious saga, Transformers, MCU, Dune - none of those behemoth franchises or movies made massive profits based on showcasing normal human behavior. Porn is no different, you'll be a senior citizen with all due respect before the porn you want gets popular and even then, it will be done by cyborgs rather than humans so studios don't have to pay which will make you want to swear off it entirely. GFF is believed to have up to 50 employees, for comparison - Evil Angel is believed to a little over 61 employees but remains profitable. According to Google, companies like SHV typical have fewer than 50 permanent employees.
^ Yeah, I could have anticipated that it would be a small team. I have read that before regarding who actually writes porn scripts and found, at least in that instance, many were hurriedly written as the shoot started. It was actually slightly funny story that I did research on it because a person I knew from high school/secondary school tried to sound cool as well as counter-culture by saying he was a script-writer for US porn. I just had to debunk that obvious bravado nonsense. As much as I found, there wasn't ever such a role in any studio anywhere.

At least then we might finally get some good-quality content in the future. 😂 Who knows maybe the next big innovation in the industry is not a new studio, but one mega-studio with 47 directors fighting over the same scene. 😆
^ Nah, the pure economics of too many chefs in the kitchen. There are people who want to do things different than that other crowd. Viewers, let alone passionate fans, don't want homogeneity, not even in the same network, or scene by scene, never mind across different studios.
I think there is an absolute fight against AI in every media. Almost nobody wants to see any AI in a show or film they're watching, or game they're playing, or image they're viewing. It's almost used as an alarmist warning to caution against: beware the AI will ruin your shows! Sure there's going to be a few that want to cut corners, but in the main I'm sure people with a vision (i.e. The Odyssey) they're not going to do it via AI. The economics of AI sounds as if it's doomed to fail, nobody is paying the true cost of it. There are currently 4 major companies funding the US trillions being spent, a concern is how long that can go on. At the moment it all seems, their motivation to invest, to be based on FOMO.

For the vajacial scene ~20 minutes was spent on sex, from the beginning of oral, out of 56 minutes 4 seconds (sex takes up ~35.67% of the entire thing). As to whether that ~36 minutes is entertaining or worthwhile: there are only hints of sensuality, seduction, or eroticism which is certrainly not enough to suggest Alison is falling or enticed by the massage.
It was a very slow-paced scene, with around an hour devoted to sexual activity. The storyline involved a lot of sexual tension between the performers. During GFF's golden era, they made this kind of scene quite often, so I guess audiences at the time really enjoyed them which is probably why they kept making this style of content. In fact, a lot of Mindi Mink's GFF catalogue features this kind of romantic, erotic storyline. Now, I think audiences and fans have become more impatient and have moved towards the Girlsway-style format. Because of that, GFF may have lost some of its essence. If you watch LS #83, a lot of time is also devoted to sexual activity, but the overall feeling, because of the split-scene format, doesn't feel as satisfying. It starts to feel like the same formula being repeated across different scenes and movies. I guess that formula simply doesn't work as well anymore.

^^Okay, you've watched LS #83. Did you like it? Is it worth watching? Just a small review would be really helpful, I guess. It hasn't been released on Adult Empire yet, which is usually where I prefer to buy VODs. And honestly, just looking at the trailer and a few screenshots, I can't really judge whether it's worth watching or not.
Scene 1 was okay; some will definitely like it because Dakota resembles Little Pluck. The scissoring was particularly intense. Scene 2 is a very enjoyable scene to watch. I have recently started to like Hazel, so I might be a little biased towards her she is such a fun-loving girl. Scene 3 did not appeal to me much; there was a lack of chemistry between the characters, and many parts of the scene felt rushed or skipped. Scene 4 will appeal to some viewers; it was an okay scene overall. Amalia,looks very attractive in this scene. I particularly enjoyed the facesitting. So, if the movie is not one you want to purchase, you can simply stream it. The first two scenes look like the work of a new director. I don't know why, but I just have a feeling that it is.

This studio seems completely disinterested to me now. Just look at what other directors and studios are doing to attract subscribers, compared to what this studio is doing. Disappointing, big time.
^ That's typical of Amalia in all, or at least most, of her scenes. A rather remarkable ability, performance, and the right kind of look that has garnered fans. (Seen plenty in Viv Thomas, MetArt, Sex Art) I think we all wait in hope to see what the promise of a new director will do. It would rather freak me out if they actually post something in here.
^Why am I saying this and feeling that the first two scenes might have been shot by the new director? Mainly because of the color grading it looks noticeably darker compared to B. Skow’s brighter scenes. Also, there’s no mention on the AEBN website, and I even checked Data18, that this movie was directed by B. Skow. GFF usually gives him credit, so if this was his last production, it could mean that both B. Skow and François were involved. The crux of the matter is that not much has actually changed yet for fans to be excited about. As I already mentioned, this studio needs to seriously ponder and improve a lot of things. Simply changing the director isn't going to suddenly make them great.

^^Oohh, maybe they utilized this break to churn things up a little a new director, and hopefully some new locations too. I'm curious to see where they plan to take this studio going forward. More Octavia Red is always welcome! I feel she is one of the most in-demand performers in the industry right now, which is definitely a good thing. I just hope Octavia doesn't go down the Angela pathway by signing an exclusive contract with a single studio and ending up doing only one type of mainstream content. But I'd absolutely love to see more of Alexa Chains. Her scene with Hazel Moore (Dad's Lesbian Lover 4) was just fantastically hot easily the best couch sex encounter I've seen this year, for sure! As far as the newcomer is concerned, she's looking sexy, and I'd love to see more of Amalia as well.

She's done a handful of scenes for Excogigirls and 1 for Slayed, with Sasha Tatcha. She's very hot but I can't remember a scene that's really stood out to me.

Interconnected storylines would be good especially if it's a specific title but if it's the WSW series I've often thought they should go for titling each scene even if it's not connected to the others. I'm sure many of us could come up with countless storylines for a one off scene that would fit perfectly into WSW even if it's been done before because there really are no new ideas at this point. I saw a scene many years ago (1990s I think) where two women co workers were hooking up and one said 'just one more time' and the other said 'that's what you said last time' and it was a very simple but really good scene that could be titled 'Just One More Time' or something and that is the kind of low concept stand alone scenes they could make. Using some more experienced women would really help with this as they tend to be able to pull this off at a much higher rate than younger women.
Also play around with the lighting. The extremely bright lighting has led to practically every GFF scene looking the same and that had long ago gone stale. One of the great thing Ricky Greenwood has done has brought a more cinematic feel to his scenes and he really started that at Sweetheart with his lesbian scenes. Also try to utilize natural lighting if the location allows it. Just mix things up.
Have no idea of this new director is capable of any of this but it would be nice to see them try new things.
I was wondering whether people would mind, or that GFF would think they wouldn't mind, repeating some very early plots, rather that than the formulaic, often fauxcest stuff. It's not as if concepts, plots, and themes haven't been duplicated over and again: e.g. mystery crush/unrequited love. But this probably depends on whether they have the talent, can spend the time, there being mass appeal, has the studio changed to scene by scene release schedule already, what style and plots they suppose viewers want or they can get away with (conservatives and censorship). To be honest the general feeling is that the industry has moved on from style GFF is well known for. I'm not sure that SWH, the other studio well known for great stories, still produces anything close to the extended plot/feature films they have released in the past.
Wow! Looking forward to learning what style and substance it all takes. May even find out whether the scene-by-scene release schedule is a feature from now on.
@whakamaakuukuu and @Gorgon Somebody please tell the makers to use ChatGPT for brainstorming storylines. Right now, they seem to be making split scenes one after another without really taking the stories anywhere, and I don't think fans are interested in watching the same formulas repeated again and again. AI could actually be useful for coming up with fresh concepts, erotic storylines, and new titles. And no, I'm not saying they need AI-generated models just use AI as a brainstorming tool to come up with some unique scripts when the creative department is running out of ideas. Otherwise, Girlsway has already taken over the GG industry. Btw, I haven't subscribed to ALLherluv for many years, but I have to admit that they sometimes come up with genuinely unique ideas. Their overall environment and lighting also feel more romantic compared with many other studios. My only issue is that they sometimes put too much emphasis on developing the story, which doesn't always work for me.
