Do a Google or Wiki search on Dian Hanson. She brought me into the business, and is one of the coolest, perverted and most intelligent ladies imaginable.

Yes, Dian Hanson ( from the now defunct PURITAN
Magazine ) has also written an amazing history of men
magazines. Especially the last volume, hardcore only, is very interesting.
I think there are a lot of series girls and women can enjoy in porn today - so it is a little disappointing but also amazing, that in most countries porn has so few female fans.
I especially like the old scandinavian and dutch classics
from the 70s to the 90s, but also from the US Golden Age
of Porn, australian Abby Winters etc.
I really have the problem to narrow down my selections
to 3-5 movies a week.

In high school (or if it was senior high school) we were told that girls had 'conflicting feelings' about porn... that they got aroused against their will from watching porn. Because they knew it was wrong and immoral and degrading and every thing every single feminist whore ever said about porn.
I wasn't mature enough to argue against it at the time... but now... if that kind of shit is being 'teached' today... my lord...
I think (straight) women like to watch hot men fuck well, the way they would like to get fucked. I think they would dig any 1-on-1 with Manuel Ferrara, Julian or Michael Stefano.
And there's a fashion ad with a girl on a sofa 'reading' a book, 'Nude men'. Love that.

The titles e.g. "Fuck Dolls" are terrible, and I fear most women have extreme prejudices to even turn around this DVD in a store, but they have the extreme attractive asian beauties and arent so crude as the title is insinuating first. These titles are often a real turn off, why not
name it "Jade Dolls" ?

You must be thinking of a different series. This is not an Asian series, and it is every bit as crude as the title insinuates. That's why it is (was) one of my favorite series.

@Gunzo
Luckily I had a total different socialisation.
But this was nearly 15 years ago, when the Netherlands were still liberal. Our female biology teacher also collected and enjoyed porn, and when we had "sexual education", she talked very open minded and positive about porn.
So I never believed the lies the german "feminists" told me - and my mother was and is one. She has only seen 10 minutes of porn in her whole life, but she is condemning it.
She is an "expert", but doesnt know anything about porn.
Yes, there is many degrading, appalling, sick and idiotic
stuff in porn. But you can find this trash in every genre.
If women dont like the status of porn today, they can produce better movies. Some do this, and there are many series now on the market, that you can enjoy as a female without being ashamed. I just re-watched "Kaylani unleashed" the 4th time, and it is a very good movie, mixing b/w and color, a good storyline, a great style, an all star cast and really hot sex. I love it !

Nice ironic remark.

Unfortunately, that scenario seems typical... and I think that if I didn't actually cared about porn, I'd be just as ignorant. I got turned on by porn, but since it's such a secluded world, I wanted to know more about it... it fascinated me on a diffirent level than just 'getting off'. Just like the world of fashion.
My mother is the same, I told her (when she found out that I actually OWN porn) that she could read this book. She refused. She didn't even want to learn about the straight economics in porn (which the book focuses on)... that really dissapointed me. She's nowhere near religious... but in this case... the same brainwashed attitude...

I don't know how old. I'd say I've been watching porn for over 20 years but wasn't as "into" it as I am now until about 5 years ago. That's when I got old enough to realize that I didn't give a flying fuck if it's socially acceptable for a woman to enjoy the type of porn I enjoy.
My husband has no interest in porn.

My Mother-in-Law used to write for Penthouse Fourm in the late 70's and early 80's and my wife would respond to some of the letters to help out. She always liked reading the letters later on when we would pick up some smut now and then before we were married. So I have tried to do porn w/ her several times, but it never works. I have tried alot of angles to make it work. We agreed long a go to disagree on the topic. Ill never give up on her or porn.

Personally I like all types of porn. You can call me a pervert if you want. LOL. I really like all girl titles and features. I also get Hustler every month. The layouts are great and I love the articles they have in there too.

My parents subscribed to Penthouse, Playboy, and Playgirl in the 1970's-the era of the "Adult Magazine". 1970's Penthouse=great layout. I am a Bob Guccione Sr fan.
First porn-'Behind the Green Door'.
Second-'Devil in Miss Jones' (with Lois Ayres.)
Favorite stuff as of this past weekend:
Sammie Rhodes in 'No Cocks Allowed 2'
Manuel Ferrara v. Jenna Haze 'Interactive Jenna Haze' (great scene-great chemistry)
I really want to see that Sasha Grey v. Jenna Haze scene-but I would like it to be organic.
I watch all kinds of porn but, I focus on G2G (hot chemistry scenes) and M2M military theme.
I also like some of the alt stuff, especially Kimberely Kane. I love the 'Stunt Girl' series.
I would like to see some tasteful (as in style) G2G leather stuff like Titan's 'Folsom Filth'. A departure from the usual female leather dom gear. Maybe before Belladonna's hair gets too long...
I would also like to see some G2G "playroom" stuff similar to what I find in M2M flicks.
Swings, rockers, etc.
I like to see the girls get off and enjoy themselves (the men too).

I recently reviewed "Jenna Jameson is the Masseuse." I didn't care for it much, other than the strap-on scene with Jenna and Savanah Sampson. Do you like strap-on? What are some of your favorite GG titles?

Yes I do like Strap-on sex. My favorite title that i've seen as of late was Girlvana 2. Especially the first disc which is the "Good" girls. Basically there are 4 scenes on each disc, same scene only in one there "Good" girls and the other "Bad" girls. The good girls only do kissing and stuff, no anal play or toys where as the bad girls everything is game. I also really liked the Where the Boys Aren't series from Vivid.

I started to watch porno with my former boyfriend. Now I watch porno by my own. I prefer porno non the net (ppw). I like all the kinds, from the fashion style to the hardest gangbangs. I also really liked the Where the Boys Aren't series from Vivid, specially the scenes where janine and nikki tyler had sex in the same scene.

hi there princess chris, cassidy essence and nicole malach.
just wanted to say hi.
anyways, Ive never met a girl who loves porn. ever.
would just go nuts if I ever did meet one.
I've got one hell of a collection, of all the hottest stuff, and I mean the hottest of the hottest.
I always watched movies. all the time, always scouting to see what's the hottest, and I used to film some of the hottest live. until I got married ofcourse.
my wife does watch movies with me on a weekly or bi monthly basis, and once the video is hot, may the cum blast begin.
porn is cool, because ..if it's hot. it will always assure of a bigger orgasm than with the ones without it.
all in all, I would love to meet a girl that just loves to see porn. I would just faint, if I ever meet a girl that loves to watch and collect porn as I do.
never had, but Im guessing that there are girls out there, just never met one though.
signed happily married..~dvd4dvd

I think it is much easier to find a girl/women
who loves porn in some (former) liberal european countries,
like the Netherlands, Denmark, France,
as in most states of the USA.
But I was in California a few years ago, and some female students "confessed" that they watched porn.
I was astonished that they didnt like the feature movies,
but "action only" porn, without real content, like movies
from Wolf, Mayhem, Sin City etc. Only to get "hot" or to watch it together on partys.
But it seems to be much easier for a woman,
to speak with another woman about porn, especially when you love it. I dont think, that they had talked so openly with a man. I think the porn consume of women is much higher as believed, not only 1%, but of course we are in a minority.

I'm the porn-dog in our house. My husband and I now watch porn together and love it, but I got it going. I first watched... guess what, Behind the Green Door, in the 80's. I have expanded since then.
I like most porn, but I have found that the things that REALLY get me off are not at all mainstream and that makes me feel a little weird. (young guys especially, really young)
I think women are just too damned stuck up to let loose and enjoy porn, sex, themselves, etc. Whatever... their loss!
I am a sexual woman and I have no intention of stopping that! I try to encourage my girlfriends to look at porn and especially sex toys differently. I recently bought one of my girlfriends a gift box from Babeland (awesome toy store online!!) Those of us that have "come out" need to encourage others!!

I'm a confessed porn lover. I first was exposed to it in high school and was shocked but became curious. By the time I was in college it was a "Closet" interest of mine. Fast forward to my first husband and we were very much into collecting tapes, DVD's and a lot of porn oriented shit. Since then I have GF's who have done some amateur porn and love it!
I now watch porn both alone and with guys. Sometimes for just fun and sometimes it becomes part of our sex play. Most women voluntarily look at porn and may never talk about it. If, with the exception of a very small minority, they say they don't they are complete liars.
What do I like? A real variety! I'm a cum freak so naturally I love to critique the, sometimes lame, cumshot genre' of movies. I'm also a shoe and leather fetishist so I tend to gravitate to features that have a lot of that. Personally, I have shocked guys when before we fuck I break out the porn. Guys have bigger hang-ups with women into porn than other women. Just my observation.

Yes they do. I made the mistake of talking to a guy friend about it and now he's talking to me a LOT, more than before. It floored him that I knew more about it than him. That I didn't say things like "eewwww" and "gross". He told me I talked about porn like a guy. I was like, "How am I suppose to talk about porn? Are there girl versions of all the porn words? I don't think so." Definite hang-up there.
Also, my brother professes a deep hatred for girls in porn and girls that like porn. It grossed him out when he saw that Perez Hilton was my homepage. "That's disgusting!" - referring to the cum that Hilton draws on the pics. "You're gross." I was thinking, "You haven't a fucking clue." If I ever did porn, my brother would probably show up in the valley with an uzi and take everyone out.
I've dabbled with watching porn pretty much my whole life, but only really got into in the last 1-2 years. I can now say without a doubt that I am a girl who loves porn. Started watching with the bf. Now I watch without him all the time. It started on the internet, but now mostly DVDs. I prefer that. I've never bought a porn mag.

Men have been damaged by our puritan sexually repressed society too. They crave the uninhibited sexually vibrant women, but can't deal with society's teaching that these women are to be scorned and ridiculed as whores and sluts.
A lot of men have been damaged to the point where shame and humiliation is their sex life.
Men have always had the right to fuck who they wanted too. Women are now demanding this right.
Remember society up until the seventies. Were saying decent women didn't have organisms.
Starting in the fifties Magazines like Playboy combined with womens Magazines started making it acceptable for women to enjoy sex. If it was something special. Like bubble bath/hot tub, wine, and roses then women would be allowed to enjoy sex. Jerry Falwell professed this as the truth until his death in 2007.
Ever study I've seen has women as the fastest growing porn customer.

Most of my life I have heard that "we women" are not visually stimulated and definately don't like anything harder than the soft-boiled "couples" porn that you can find on TMC or Showtime. Sorry, I really like porn. We have a lot of it. I like watching it, and now I love being in it. As far as what I like to watch, I'm very much into whatever Belladonna is doing at any given time. I like Flower Tucci & Jada Fire's vids as well. As far as older porn I like Vanessa Del Rio, Trinity Loren, Chessie Moore, and virtually anything that's "wet and golden". What I don't like very much is most of JM's product, I always feel like I've been mugged after I watch it. The one exception is American Bukkake-12 with Holly Landers. If I'm really looking for a huge by-myself orgasm, a few minutes with that video and my Eroscillator can send me off like a rocket. But I am most definately visual, and I like hardcore porn.

That statement pretty much says it all. It's really weird these days because it's almost like sexual freedom is socially acceptable but it really isn't. Even a lot of porn fans look down on porn girls. WTF is that?

RandomPrecision it’s all very confusing. Sexual desire is in humans DNA, it’s the one thread that runs through all humans and connects us to the very first man.
Human’s sexual desire is installed at birth without inhibitions. Society has to instill shame and inhibition into humans.
A few European white men started the sexual repression of society around the 10th century.
This sexual repression was aimed primarily at their property “women”. Sexual repression began with the denigration of their property “women”. Uninhabited sexual vibrate women were shamed, humiliated, and publicly ridiculed. Society is still doing this today.
Men forced their property “women” to repress their sexual desires. While men at the same time, were going to whores and sluts for sexual gratification. Men also sought out other men’s wives.
Men and women were free to enjoy sex in these affairs that was not possible within their marriages. The staging number of men and women who admit to sexual relation outside of marriage today bares this out.
All those European white men were able to do is add shame, humiliated, guilt, and deceit into humans sex life.
I think society is at a crossroads. Does society hold on to the shame, humiliated, guilt, and deceit in their sex lives? Or do we move to open uninhabited sexual society that embraces sex.
A lot people find sexual gratification in shame, humiliation, and guilt and are reluctant to turn it lose.
A lot of societies attitude comes from “women are property” “a woman’s only value is purity and virginity.” “Then as brood mares that work”
Women in our society don’t have the right say I’m not in love, I don’t want to marry them, I don’t want to have his baby, I just want to fuck them.
Men have had this right. Women are starting to demand this right.
I think loss of virginity should not be viewed as the end, but should be viewed as the beginning of uninhabited sexually vibrate sex life.

Mindee, I think this "women dont are visually stimulated" is one of the greatest lies. And if you trace this myth back, the roots are in the 50s and early 60s, Mr.Kinsey showed test persons boring photo slides. Men are much easier aroused as women, thats true, but if the movies/photos are erotic ( Pornography without degradation ), quite a lot of women are aroused. Its just still a taboo to admit it.

Back in 50's it was still taught that women didn't have orgasms. Mr.Kinsey was also dealing with sexually repressed women who wouldn't even admit having an orgasm to themselves.
caroline I don't think people from Europe grasp just how deeply and profoundly American women were sexually repressed.
I think and hope women will move past these taboos.
I think internet porn and anonymous chartrooms and message broads will allow women to explore sex and their sexuality.
Hopefully they will cast off the shame and openly express their sexuality.
But caroline I'm not sure to what extent Europeans were sexually repressed. I'm beginning to think a lot more than I had previously thought.
I could be wrong, But I believe the degradation of women began with sexual repression and society branding sexually uninhabited women as sluts and whores.
If it didn't start there. Then it certainly stop society of proceeding toward men, excepting women as something else, besides as property.
caroline I found this article you may find interesting.
Taboo female sex topics go public as sex toy parties become popular
[link removed: No tube sites]
Why does it benefit men that women masturbates? How can she tell you what she likes if she doesn't know herself.
Women need to take responsibility for their own organism. It's lot of pressure and not fare to men for women to say "make me have an organism" . "give me some help here bitch"
This attitude leads to sexual frustration in women and feeling of inadequacy in men.
We need to change from "Having Sex" to "Sharing Sex"

Fortunately there are girls who really love porn and do confess it. In fact I have married one. Actually when I got to know her I told her about my porn addiction and my large collection of porn DVDs right from the start. I told her that I would not be willing to give up my interest for porn and that she would have to decide whether she could accept it or not. It turned out that she would ask to watch some porn more often than I would and she skips all the intro every time to get to the action parts.
I know that I am a lucky guy indeed but I guess there are more women out there who really like porn but would not admit it openly even to their partner. Sad!

I started watching porn out of curiosity. I worked at a video store that had a porn section, and I got it for free. I was single and watched it by myself. I would simply watch it, then store the particularly-hot moments in my brain's little fantasy bank. I'd conjure those images later and put my own imagination into them at a later time. That's still the way I watch it. I only ever participate physically while watching porn with my husband.
I don't particularly understand the lure of pornographic magazines. I don't get much from still photos, at least not as I've ever seen them presented. I do like a fair number of porn DVD's. Usually I'm lucky to enjoy one or two scenes out of any DVD. My husband and I do subscribe to a website that we agree on.
I think I'd watch a lot less porn if it weren't free for me. I consider it an indulgence, and it would be one of the first things to go should my finances require that I sacrifice something. I don't need porn. I've got an imagination, plus I've got a library card. There's some seriously erotic fiction available to women these days, and most of it is hotter than porn.

I think we have reached the "climax" of porn/sex/female liberalism in 1999 or 2000 in northern Europe. After 2001, no this date isnt a coincidence, everything is going backwards.
@Pagoda: I enjoy mags sometimes more, when the photos are well done. Especially when the photographers catched the moment, when the girl is on the climax.

I don't think it's unusual for society to pull back a bit. But we have made great strides in over coming sexual repression in a short time. Thirty-eight years in this country compared to 5 centuries is great progress.
But women still have a long way to go.

I have asked many womens views on this and they agree that women will always equate sex with love on a far greater scale then men and see hardcore porn as degrading and robotic act watching can be a thrill for them but they say the relentless pounding, change position then pound again holds no erotic value past the initial thrill I think the women here are a small exception to the rule on this.

I love 'good' porn. Like a lot of the other posts here, I get discouraged by the glut of low quality production,
and performances that seem more labored than intense or erotic.
I'm especially disappointed by titles that claim to be geared towards woman, or 'couples' that don't offer
anything different except 2 minutes of dialog between scenes. What ever happened to actual story telling?
Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of good stuff out there, it just seems like it's harder and harder to find.

You've really summed it all up Marie!
For me, it has to be real. If it is rehearsed, practiced, faked, or comes off as being "work", I won't watch it. I also have no tolerance for anything forced or degrading.
I was reading a post on chemistry a while ago and there were so many examples of people who really get into it, and not just for the camera. They have chemistry and they’re comfortable enough with it to share it with the rest of us.
You also mentioned the "erotic" aspect. For me, a scene that starts with some true erotica and then turns into an intense sexual performance is the best it can get. That goes for male/female and female/female scenes.
