I found it quite interesting too, getting that snapshot at a 6k+ group of the membership base. They have a Pure Taboo one that should be released "soon" too, the results that is, that should be neat as well. I'm hoping they do one for the rest of their in house B/G content.

Folks also ranked highly performers staying in character during story-driven porn all the way through, and even during sex. And I agree fully. If she's supposed to be a brand new lesbian, she needs to play that the scene long. If it's a Mommy's Girl scene, it needs to be played that way the scene long.
72% of respondents want Natural/Girl Next Door type models and 70% want Natural Makeup versus only 6% wanting Glam Makeup. Teens/Milfs, Petite/Curvy were dead heats, folks just want Natural Girl Next Door types with natural makeup.
Real Orgasms, passion and high quality sex is super high on peoples desires, 56% of voters ranking that as a 10/10 want, and overall 96% ranked it as 7/10 or better importance. Apologies on the bold again, however; this one was super important to me and I couldn't be more stoked to see this ranked so highly. I ranked it as 10/10 - less fake moaning, less over the top porno sounds and more real connections and orgasms.

It's hard to have believable orgasms while also expecting the performers to stay in character during the sex. A lot of the results are fairly expected and I don't really see much change coming from them. GW was build on heavy membership input so these things have been said before, the site has always been a mixed bag with the occasional 10/10 scene littered with porny nonsense.
If the answers are taken to heart however, more close ups and less wide shots is a tad worrying too, quick close ups are great for showing us what's going on, and good editing can highlight a particularly hot moment (such as intense pussy eating) but I've lost count of scenes ruined by overlong closeup shots or these shots during inappropriate times. Video is shot in 4k now, a wide shot allows us to see everything. We really don't need 65 inches of a performers nostrils when they're cumming, I want to see their body tense up, them gripping the bedsheets, curling their toes etc.

I couldn't agree more. Seems like some of these editors work in a pitch dark room. SMDH
To begin with having 11 possible choices for each question is a problem because too many choices leaves to confusion. A good survey should limits itself to 7 choices. Very Satisfied, Satisfied, Somewhat Satisfied, indifferent, somewhat dissatisfied, dissatisfied and very dissatisfied with the top two and bottom two being clear on the feelings of the person doing the survey and the other 3 choices left to interpretation. For that reason their survey leaves way too many thing to interpretation. Since I don't know what the actual choices were between the top one and the bottom one then I can't be certain of the wording used for each choice but what I am certain of is that many of the results aren't all that great news for GW.
The other thing to point out is that unless I am wrong then this was a survey of existing GW members so the results were always going to be skewed toward the positive as opposed to a survey opened to anyone. Below are some thing that I don't think are positive about the survey.
1- 42% very satisfied is good but 46% somewhat satisfied is not because I would not be returning to a restaurant if I was somewhat satisfied with their food and the same goes for my porn.
2-How important is production value and How do you rate current production value should be major warnings to GW because you can see a significant contrast between the answers. In the case of Production value. 54% think it's important/very important but only 41% consider that GW is doing a good job and with more than half of those who think they only do a good job.
3-How do you rate the current quality level of the sex is where it's get very bad because only 36% think GW does a good or very good job.
4-How important is the high-quality of the sex to your subscription is where I think GW is in serious trouble because here nearly 78% think its important to very important but we already know that nearly 70% don't think GW is doing a good job on that front.
The good news for lesbian fans is that GW did a survey and if they can read it the way I did then maybe they can implement changes that will be beneficial for everyone.

Something like 25% of the people who responded didn't even answer the questions about sex quality. They probably just make Casey Calvert's husband get more expensive cameras, make 9 out of every 10 scenes about incest in a high school, and call it a day lol.
Don't get me wrong, it was a hot scene, I'll just never understand the editorial decision to hide 90% of the action during what should be the hottest part. I always prefer the climaxing shots to mainly have the receiver in full frame.
2-3 second cutaways can be used at any time to good effect by editors who know how to use them but extended views of specific body parts should, imo, be kept for when the action is mild.
Gooch if you haven't already you may want to check out LezKiss, there's a few decent scenes on there and Tiffany has at least 1 or 2 knockouts. I think that was the site I saw her on when I first realised she was something special.
My memory isn't the best but I'm sure Gina Gerson has a couple of great scenes there too.
In all seriousness though I just cannot see what they will do to improve the quality of the sex. It's not like they wouldn't have tried this before and I cannot see this survey giving them any fresh ideas.

My issue is some of their points are at odds with each other, such as 2 and 5. It's hard to create believable sex while keeping performers in character and hamming up the "mommy talk" as it's hard to believe a performer is getting lost in the sex if they are being directed to maintain a character at the same time. I could trust a pairing like Lacy Lennon and Serene Siren to knock this kind pf a scene out the park but Girlsway will struggle to release 4-5 scenes per week with that kind of GG star power.
My guess is that the content will remain the same. Incest porn is highly popular and it will probably continue to take the lead of 'believable' sex.

I think Intel is right, sadly. There will be changes; they'll cut down on the decibels when "cumming" and maybe get rid of some cliche dialogue, but they are just going to ratchet up performers calling each other mommy instead, so probably no real sex or actual arousal from the performers.
Girlsway lost its way from end of 2018. The agenda porn angle started and went downhill from there. Cutting the forum community where some ideas came from for scenes which freshened things. Lacy Lennon, Serene Siren, Aiden Ashley, Scarlit Scandal and few others keeping it going but scene hit rate is low like 1 in 10 compared to 1 in 2 just few years back.
Same as Girlfriends Films in similar state now it needs to go back to what it made it successful in the first place pre 2018 and in GF case 2013. Also add too much talent left since 2018 and not replaced. Even some well known names in the biz now hasn't shown their best in Girlsway/Adulttime for some reason. Generally the scenes have no buzz to them. The last A+ scene for me was The Babysitter Rules. Closest since was Lacy Lennon/Aria Carson which was shot by DevilsFilm recently.

Yeah on the in-character thing, it's likely to be a nuisance distraction from good fucking. There's a not-inconspicuous obsession with characters being hyper-naive about sex in scenes already, tbh. Not sure it needs to be more emphasized.
And if I wanted to watch virgins or "reluctance", people use that word alot,...well...I wouldn't. I want to see people who are specialists at fucking. Porn is so dumb sometimes for no reason lol.
About half of the points listed indicate MORE direction and involvement from the studio. And that means more porny porn, or at least it doesn't indicate less porny porn. I believe #2 is the most important point but it's sort of juxtaposed against the rest.
Stars like Lacy Lennon and Scarlit Scandal are perfect for Girlsway as they're very good at selling sex regardless of the scenario they are in. They're either freaks or are just very good at their job, they have an aura about them that transcends the general issues of studio directed porn. They could ham up the mommy talk all night long and I would be left with the impression that they were fully immersed into their scene partner.
Performers like that are rare however, and without a performer like that in the scene we're usually left with what I'd call your standard Girlsway shoot. Flat, wooden performances that feel forced and heavily directed. A couple minutes of dreary sex and then switch position. Rinse, repeat.
This may sound pessimistic, and like I don't believe there is any hope for GG porn outside of casting the best of the best in every scene but that isn't the case, I believe you can get a good performance out of most performers as long as you cast a naturally dominant performer who can control a scene alongside a sub and give them time and room to breathe (this is similar to the formula if the early GFF films you have mentioned, although to me even a lot of that was over directed). That means that when the sex starts the direction stops, or is at least reduced significantly. We certainly shouldn't be 'dialling up the mommy talk' like it states in point #5. Give them 30+ minutes of uninterrupted time each if that's what it takes. Dim the lights a bit, don't go in close with a handheld camera, maybe even leave the room.
Gia Derza is a great example of a performer who can really ham up the porny side of things, however when allowed to she can shoot a fantastic scene. There's many, many more like her but to me there's nothing in Girlsways 10 points that indicates they know how to get the best out of them.
Tl;dr. If you want to shoot believable porn with all the tasty porny goodness, mommy and virgin talk, wild positions, threesomes, bright lighting and intrusive camera angles ect then you can, but you need performers who have the ability to carry a scene like that. If you don't have a performer like that available then you're probably going to have a choice between intimate love making OR the other stuff. I have a feeling we'll just be getting more of the other stuff.
I hope I'm wrong as Girlsway releasing multiple high wuality scenes per week is a dream come true.
This has me thinking how people would feel about them just splitting every shoot into 2 parts?
The first part would be entirely story driven with the sex being softcore and completely scripted. Stylistic camera angles with plenty closeups, sexy dialogue, fake orgasms etc. Shot purely as a continuation of the story. Then once that is complete the and the closer to the scene is shot, the crew set up the tripods and leave the room to give the models 40+ minutes of time to have sex. They could even edit in sections of the second scene into the first to extend the scene and add some genuine intensity between the scripted sections.
Currently it feels like neither those watching for the story or those watching for the sex are fully satisfied.
They used to sort of do this anyway, only the performers would shoot two separate scripted scenes.
I realise this will never happen, but I personally would welcome something like it.
So how long should we wait to see if the feedback was implemented? 3 months, 6 months?

She's had like 10 scenes in the last 2 months alone, just on the GG side.This would be great, but part of the problem is that they want to spend as little time as possible working on scenes. They'd never take time to shoot a natural version and a porny version.It takes like 3 months for them to get a scene done and they probably started doing whatever changes they plan to make like this week. Yes Girlsway still puts out the occasional very good scene just not at the same rate as pre 2018. Same goes for most of the past and present G/G studios.
I feel that Girlsway stretched too far from the successful formula. First was Girlcore it was well filmed and scenes were good but felt too polished which reminds me of feature/parody porn which isn't my thing so more of a preference.
We like girls project was a hit and miss just felt off with the agenda push from the studio and it's messaging of trying to be real when really we know it isn't vibe. I also felt Teenage Lesbian was not great and shows it has lost its roots which is a porn company.
Girlsway has proved many times it can do high quality in the past like The shining, early mommy's girl/webyoung and so on and still has its moments now here and there.
Like many G/G studios it is very difficult to keep original standard and is magnified as many studios have dropped the ball in the last few years.
^I don't think so but then again most Euro porn tends to be gonzo and that includes the g/g stuff. The few studios that used to shoot scenario driven porn don't exist anymore or at least they exist in name only. Think Private, Dorcel and a slew of other great European studios.
We want long-lasting relationships with the models we love. We want returning favorites, familiar faces, and promising newcomers we get to know through repeated casting.
I don't like when companies use certain performers and then forget about them in a year or two and just have new performers in their scenes. It's good to have a mixture of both!
