In older allgirlmassage scenes, the tables are covered with sheets, as is done by real massage therapists. In newer scenes, the tables are bare vinyl, which seems less comfortable. Did a director decide to cut laundry expenses? Did the crew just forget to bring sheets one day and decide to never bring sheets again? Is there a cinematic advantage of no sheet?

^I can see some merit to that argument, but I can also see why she might think that direction is necessary. Storytelling and sex are apparently really hard to fit in the same scene. And in this internet era, when so many viewers have very specific requests, often demands, trying to get meet all those requests creates a routine checklist instead of passion and intimacy. But I wonder how close Girlsway is at the end of that pendulum swing, or if it will just fade out and be replaced by the next porn wave or generation.

Looking at it a different way, it's likely that Girlsway met the audience where it's at, given that the f/f porn focused on cartoon behavior and minimal sexual interaction is pretty much the only kind that more than barely survives. Further, almost without question, today's performers would prefer to do as little of the actual sex stuff with other chicks as possible. This scene, written and directed by Bree Mills, is different and cool to watch. The story is engaging, and the acting is amazing, especially from Lexi Luna-she's incredible. The scene doesn't just focus on sex but emphasizes pleasure, which I really appreciated.

Given the new management - I am curious to see if that is going to lead to any noticeable changes. Gamma has been bought by a European based company and well, European porn is vastly different flavor from American. Looks is very subjective, and "intangible" only marginally less subjective (for example, I value good acting abilities -- thus Chanel Camryn, Charlotte Stokely -- others may not, or I simply have not seen some women in scenes where they have acted well), thus it's not surprising you don't agree with some of my ranking. As for the inclusion of Bella, Braylin, and Kay in the "honorable mentions," well, all I can say is I feel they are more inconsistent than others (nobody is great in every scene they appear).

Yep, the latter. There are quite a few studios that circumvent the (very strange) legalities of Japanese porn. The issue is that almost all of them are terrible at producing G/G, with the content from studios producing the good stuff being heavily pixelated. I think there must be some licensing agreement to make it happen. I'm just now not sure how.
