I ran a full backup weekly and an incremental one daily (I know, but it comes from my mainframe background of backing up everything you do). They were scheduled to run either overnight or while I was at work. The tape drive had it's own scheduling software, so I didn't need to do anything other than making sure that a tape was in the drive. Can someone recommend good software that will allow me to do the same thing on my DVD+RW drive? By the way, the tape drive broke shortly before getting a new PC, so transferring it to the new PC is not an option.  [Link] |

My O/S and applications are always on "C:" and my data, documents, images, projects, whatever, are always on "D:" - sometimes these are petitions and sometimes they are separate drives, depending on the machine.
