Today I wrote to Marc from Laseredge about an order that was sent to me more than 30 days ago which I still have not received yet, I got a very quick reply from him that he gave me a credit worth the order so I could order the movie again.

I'm gonna order the movie again, I hope it has some more luck this time.

I really wonder what happens to missing packages.....

@Ramsey,

Lucky you,
I had an order from LaserEdges until today,
I never got it. It's been 7 months!

How could it be ?

Since it use AirMail, I can't complaint about it :(
That's why I never buy from them again!

Maybe they end up in the dirty hands of unscrupulous, porn loving mailmen?

Large numbers of magazines (non porn) get pinched within the postal system...

Did you have an exchange of E-mails with them about this problem?

Well, not that it's much consolation, but I wouldn't really say this was LE's fault - once they've shipped the item then it is (literally) out of their hands.

Unless you choose and pair for the more expensive tracked delivery option then you always run the risk of items going missing with no compensation.

If companies like LE send you another copy as a replacement, then that's their choice and is a bonus.

I wouldn't stop buying from LE just because one item went missing, as it isn't really their fault - rather the mail system. But as I say, that doesn't get your package back...

@Joey Starr

No, I never contacted them since it use the AirMail,
I really on the "weak" side :(

@timotei
Yes, it's not the LE's fault. I know that.
But at least I know that their service is not good for me,
or even my country :(

@all,

I think I have to stop buying "original" DVD from US & Europe & Japan, since I already have channel for the DVD9
copy :) on my country, all prices are flat, $1.5 each,
most of the titles are fresh new :)

Thank God, Praise the Lord!!!!!

Ookz - I don't know which country you live in, but it's a shame that you're having to resort to buying pirated discs to avoid postal problems. There are plenty of online shops in various parts of the world that sell proper original discs and have many satisfied customers.

Buying DVD-R copies is not the way forward, in my opinion.

ookz,

I have to agree with timotei about it being a real shame you feel you have to purchase pirated discs. I've had packages go missing myself a number of times, but the retailers operating out of ADT have always been understanding of these issues.

I'm not going to make any demands on you in real life beside my above reccomendations, but I'll have to ask you to at least refrain from discussing DVD-Rs on ADT's forums from now on, since that's not what Steph and Drew started the forum for.

thanks,

scipio
