I'm not convinced that there are enough B/G fans who also like G/G to be able to sustain a potential site on their own. And I also disagree that G/G is a fetish genre. Of course anything non-B/G can be argued to be niche, but the G/G genre is way too large and successful to be considered as a fetish category. Girlsway has actually ramped up the anal elements in their scenes so much so that Analingus is almost as common as Tribbing. They are even reviving Girls Try Anal. Anyways, I don't think it would be wise for Lansky to return to G/G to only make it Anal themed. But I concede that in the G/G space, there is always room for Lansky's particular style. I agree with Eva that a cross between his current production values and story telling, combined with his WLT sex style would be a powerful mix. Bonus points if he also uses his clout to do the "1st" formula of Blacked and Tushy. I think he could really capitalize on doing 1st G/G scenes properly for new performers.
Could it be true? Jay Sin is back and now Lansky possibly making a return to shooting girl on girl? I really hope that's what his surprise is. I mean what else could it be that's not already covered by Blacked, Tushy or Vixen? Bi/gay/trans porn shot "Lansky style"? Let's assume for now that his next site is gonna be all-girl. Noticing his penchant for naming his sites with one word what would be some good ideas for this next one? "Tasty" or "Licked" perhaps. "Twist Your Head Around; It's All Around You"
^I also thought "LICKED" would be the perfect name when there were early rumblings of him doing a G/G site. Also, one of my fave G/G directors Nica Noelle is also planning a comeback to G/G with her own company. Add Allherluv to the mix, and If these all go through, it's gonna be a great time to be a G/G fan. Hmm, I wonder if it will be like LesbianX and that Lansky already has a bunch of scenes in the can, and is just now starting the teasing. Edited by - Aya on 9/28/2017 7:10:53 PM
We still don't know for sure if Lansky is going to start a new lesbian site but if he does then the one thing above anything else that I want Lansky to do is make sure that he never has a single female performer in his videos that flips her hair behind her ear. There are many things in porn that annoy me but I think hair flipping in lesbian porn is sooo annoying and rampant that the moment I see it in a video. It automatically takes me out of the scene and sometimes I can't get back in.
Really hoping for a GL gg site!! Although in the past hyped up announcements of big news coming soon that had me on the edge of my seat thinking it was finally to be a reality were actually promotion for the release of a new blacked/tushy/vixen scene. Still... I cannot help but get my hopes up everytime. Fingers crossed again this time around.
^I don't know about right now because it's always been a big thing for me. Do you realise that G/G porn is about the only place that you are guaranteed to see the two performers kiss?
I don't know if maybe he could launch a Porn network, just like Mason just did with XEmpire, with the three sites for a few more money, and it could arrive with some new content (a new site possibly)

The return of Tori Black at Blacked would be a huge special announcement :)
^I like to say that anything is possible and maybe this could be the case but my gut feeling is that's not going to happen here because there is incentive for Tori to do more b/g porn. In case you want to say money then I'll point you to the fact that Tori doesn't seem to have needed any extra cash since leaving the industry and her recent return to shoot a few lesbian video for Mason's new Lesbian X site feel more like a marketing tool to remind people that she does plenty of cam shows and less a way to earn money.

Okay, but why was GG so less represented in porn over the last years? So less represented that stuff like Club 59 has become irrelevant. You say GG is super popular but "no" studio had much interests in shooting GG over the last years. No Mason, no EA, no JJV.... So I am asking, is GG financial lucrative, or is there just a big hype right now. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with GG. I am just just curious.

^ To your point, I don't think g/g is as profitable as b/g but its definitely popular.
^^It's always been popular, but it's profitable when it's made by companies that take it seriously and actually care about putting out a good product. The companies you listed are primarily B/G companies, who occasionally dabbled in G/G. The lack of effort showed and their bottom line suffered, so it only made sense for them to stop. G/G only companies have been going strong for years and still are. The resurgence we are now seeing in G/G is being brought out by companies like Girlsway who actually respect and are passionate about the genre, and care about putting out quality product. Others have learned this lesson, and have been rewarded by taking the same approach which is G/G is on the rise again. I can understand not thinking G/G is popular when you mostly focus on the B/G world, which mostly puts out mediocre G/G, if any at all.
If you compare g/g porn to b/g porn than of course lesbian porn is the loser because there is significantly more b/g porn that gets produced compared to g/g but I think there are many reasons why that is. The cost of producing g/g video is probably a little higher than a standard vaginal only b/g video because female performers are more expensive than the men and you have at least two of women in each scene. The cost difference is between g/g and b/g is even bigger when you realise that many of todays b/g videos are POV style where the male performer is also the cameraman (alas Mike Adriano) so producing those b/g videos is even cheaper than a standard b/g with a camera operator. Another reason why you see less g/g VS b/g is that I think it takes a lot more talent to shoot a g/g video than a b/g one and too many directors simply wouldn't do a decent job. Case in point Mason. A woman who shoots amazing porn and yet I don't like the vast majority of the g/g videos she has shot and that includes almost every video she has done for her new Lesbian X site. I think there is a market for good porn be it b/g or g/g so if someone produces good lesbian porn than they will make money. if they can produce great lesbian porn than they will carve a huge space for themselves because sadly most studios and I'm including those that only produce lesbian porn barely mange to do good porn with the odd masterpiece.
I found this interesting. It's a 2016 study about the most searched for porn genres. Lesbian is way higher than anal, which I find surprising and hard to believe. http://fightthenewdrug.org/most-popular-porn-genre-search-of-2016/ (Sorry, I'm having trouble pasting something as a link at the moment)
More teasing, and the Natalia Starr reply again reinforces the idea that she is involved in whatever it would be. [Tweet is no longer available] Edited by - enteomega30 on 10/3/2017 1:47:56 PM
^Makes me wonder, would they really be making a big deal like this if it was a G/G site? Because the B/G fans are really expecting all kinds of B/G things, and a G/G announcement could cause irreparable damage.

He's probably just gonna release another b/g site and then mention that his sole purpose in life is to destroy the gg genre.
^^ Honestly, if he's hyping any new site, he should be making a big fucking deal about it. Anything other than that would be detrimental. People that don't like a specific genre of porn wouldn't sign up for something of the other genre no matter what the hype is, and to not hype something just because some of the fanbase might not like it means you don't believe in what you're selling. It's marketing 101.
This is a good point and one which I think goes some way to explaining why a lot of GG porn is poor. The standard for BG porn is already set and the male performer 99.9% of the time will take the lead, I would imagine this makes casting and directing BG porn a far easier process - not taking into account fan demand for certain pairings. Unless the male performer is just straight up bad the end product should be at the very least passable. The man tries his best to make the woman cum and then finishes the scene by shooting his load across her face. Cut. GG porn doesn't inherently have this template so casting is immediately more important, 2 inexperienced or uninterested women will more often than not leave a scene feeling directionless, and an over-involved director can leave a scene feeling over-directed - GG fans will know what I mean here. Very few performers - even amongst GG only performers - are great at taking on this dominant responsibility which I believe gives the most consistently positive results. An example would be Angela White who has appeared in a few Girlsway scenes recently and knows how to control a scene. The director also needs to allow for the dominant performer to take control and let things play out to completion (Girlfriends films are very good at this).
^Another thing to consider about the difference between g/g porn and b/g porn. Normally in b/g porn both performers are hetero so there is no need to fake anything other than that they are enjoying themselves but in g/g porn there is a likelihood that one or both performers are gay for pay. It's a lot harder to fake enthusiasm on set when you are doing something you don't enjoy in your personal life. Now a good director and a talented performer will be able to overcome some of these things but not always. I think there is also a question of chemistry. It's a lot easier to have a certain level of chemistry with a male performer if you are hetero than it is to have chemistry with a woman if you aren't at least BI in your private life.
^ Like I've said elsewhere, the term "gay for pay" needs to be phased out of the porn lexicon. Porn is a performance at the end of the day. I know girls in the industry that do g/g that are considered great at their job, but only date men outside of the industry. That doesn't mean they're gay for money, it just means they're actresses. We wouldn't call a Hollywood actor a murderer for pay if they played a killer in a movie, or gay for pay if they played a character that way gay. Even if the performer is that orientation, they wouldn't be having sex on camera for studios anyway if they weren't getting paid. That being said, it isn't a secret that performers like Angela, Georgia, Charlotte, and Serena who all actually like women are apt to better performances. I do think one big problem with a lot of studios is that they book their g/g for star power rather than chemistry. You can book Adriana Chechik with anyone and the scene should at least be passable, but you can't book girls with big names like Alex Grey, Holly Hendrix, or Marley Brinx and not put them with a performer that can carry them in a scene.
^^ Isn't it a little naive to suppose that straight girls enjoy everything they do in b/g porn? You talk of "gay for pay" girls (sorry, Eva, I'm quoting) having a harder job showing enthusiasm, but what about girls who don't do anal in their private lives but do it in porn because it's part of their job and pays well? I seem to recall Katja Kassin making that point somewhere in her thread. That amounts to 'anal for pay'. Anal is one example and there must be others - rough sex, bondage and others. It shouldn't be assumed that straight girls like everything they do with a guy just because it's a hetero scene. Come to think of it, they don't get a choice over what guy they have sex with either. Face it, a huge percentage of sex on screen is fake. Anyway, this doesn't get us any closer to confirming what this bloody website is going to be. Greg, can you put us out of misery?
^Well can't say I'm surprised. Greg Lansky would rather die than shoot g/g again.

[Tweet is no longer available] Hysterics aside... the release of this new blacked site doesn't necessarily preclude the release of a new g/g site. Maybe Greg will release a couple of new sites. If you parse his latest tweet, notice that he said "big things coming" so maybe he has a couple new things up his sleeve. Plus he did mention that he would be shooting more g/g this year. Just grasping at straws but I'm not giving up hope just yet.
^^^ Yes, but the crowd here enjoys a bit of harmless speculation. There is no harm done. The truth is there has never been more g/g porn being produced. Along with all the US product, there's a fair amount of Euro content. I just did a month of lezkiss, a good site that gets zero buzz around here. Lansky does good lesbian scenes, just look at his showcase efforts. As for Blacked Raw, wish them all the best. Nothing with the Lansky touch ever seems raw, more like Blacked Smooth. It will be interesting to see the results. Edited by - aclayfan on 10/4/2017 3:40:06 PM
I think the fake factor in b/g porn is enormous in those many scenes where he is about twice the age as she. There aren't a ton of 20 years old women walking around with a thing for guys their daddy's age. It's a performance for money regardless the combination.
^^ If it was any other style site I'd agree no harm no foul, but the fact that it's just another take in Blacked I think runs a risk if he ever actually does a g/g site. There's already talk in this thread and elsewhere that he's just stringing the g/g fanbase along with endless hope, so why would his heart even be in a g/g site if he'd rather make a different version of a site that already exists?

^ Like I said before, him releasing a subsidiary site doesn't stop him from also releasing standalone gg site. Maybe he's gonna announce it later. His credibility would take a big hit if he doesn't release a gg site after all the talking. Plus he's already getting attacked on Twitter for not announcing a gg site.
Welp, I'm not too surprised that it wasn't a G/G site. Lansky clearly knows the desire for one is there, but with this announcement I wouldn't expect any news on the G/G front this year. But on the plus side, this new site seems to address some of the common complaints he gets, so it's a good sign that he pays attention to what people are saying. Maybe next year, he'll release "Lesbian Vixens."
Maybe for the vast majority of people that is true but I think if you look at most celebrity couple or most men with money than you will see a trend where their girlfriend/spouse are often younger than them and it's not just a five year gap but a lot more.
No G/G Lansky site by now. Maybe a few G/G scenes in Vixen site, but I think that we don't have to expect more news in a year. Kind of susprised for the new Blacked Raw site, but we will have to give a try.
Actually it is because ultimately money is the catalyst at the heart of the argument and both group of women pretend to enjoy what they are doing for money.
I can't say that i'm pissed because it's his money, time and business, but i'm extremely disappointed. At this point, i guess, no g/g site in sight until summer/autumn 2018 or no g/g site at all.
I'm disappointed on three fronts. 1- I would have loved to see a Lanksy styled g/g site. 2-There is already an interracial site so why make another one? 3-It's a little hard to tell but it's a (maybe) more realistically looking porn and that would be fine but why make it an interracial only site when you could have had a mix of black and white performers?
Does anyone actually know what the site is about apart from it being IR? I mean, what's the point if it's just a Blacked clone? Edited by - Dexter76 on 10/22/2017 6:38:42 PM
I took a look at the new website. Here's my opinion. First I'd like to state that Greg Lansky and Mason are my favorite directors. Both have a different style, but I like them both. I have permanent subscriptions to Tushy, Blacked, Vixen and HardX. But I won't subscribe to Blacked Raw. Why in all the world would a director as talented as Greg Lansky copy a concept of an another director, whose directorial skills are far inferior to his abilities as a performer (to put it mildly). I'm used to watch Greg Lansky's performers in beautiful environments, with excellent lighting, great camerawork and perfect editing. I don't want to see them in badly lit hotel rooms.
