For a water-based lubricant, it's about the best there is. The issue with all water-based lubricants is evaporation, so it does much better inside an orifice than outside one.
Which is to say, it's not particularly good for traditional jerking off. But that isn't your intended use, I gather, so you'll likely be pleased with it.
Joey, if you want to use a water based lubricant with a silicone toy or while wearing a condom, pick an anal formula. Make sure the consistency is thick. Those lubes are formulated for a completely dry environment. Try to avoid a thick gel. Instead, go for a viscous (almost slimy) feel. Gun Oil H20 has too much water in it. It'll absorb and evaporate too fast and turn sticky.
I recommend System Jo H20 Anal formula in either regular or warming. The Warming formula contains peppermint extract, which is nicely arousing. I also recommend Frolic by Pink (or Empowered, depending on how it's marketed.) It has the viscosity of an anal formula, but also contains an anti-bacterial ingredient that makes it practical for use with toys.
I don't think anti-bacterial anal lube sounds very healthy. Putting anti-bacterial ingredients on sensitive mucous membranes in itself sounds bad, the possibility of those ingredients absorbing through the bowel into the bloodstream sounds bad, and the potential of messing up the delicate balance of intestinal flora sounds bad.
Joey, one note about the Frolic. It ships terribly. There's something about the way the pump on the bottle is made--it invariably leaks in transit. I've mopped up more than my share of boxes containing lube bottles covered in the stuff. A customer also told me that it leaked in his luggage when he was travelling. It's a unique product, but it's packaged crappy. An alternative would be System Jo H2O Anal formula. It has the same consistency. Plus the warming version contains peppermint and capsicum. Very stimulating, and smells great.
If you have heart problems, don't wanna get a prescription from your doctor, or visit the pharmacy to buy erection pills, you can do what I did which is order this natural supplement online called Virection. You take it once a day and don’t have to worry about getting soft ever again. For me it changed my life.
if you are still lookin for a water based lube get pjur aqua...it doesn't leave sticky mess and hasnt stained anythin of mine yet...its usually like $20 but I got is on lustique.com for like $15 i think.
Absolutely agree - for use with toys, water-based is better. I like the sensation of water based ones. But for use outside toys, you have to use silicone-based - otherwise you will be using up buckets of water-basd ones due to evaporation AND absorption through skin.
I use "Gun Oil" silicone lube, kicks ass. Best Lube I ever bought to date. Wasn't aware they made water based lube, now I am going to have to be on the look out. Is there a reason you don't like silicone lube Joey?
