Just throwing this out there but as a fan/star whatever when it comes to watching anal. Where, in your opinion should the line be drawn.
Now, I like watching anal sex, a girl getting fucked in the ass turns me on, but these days, sometimes it's kinda gross.
I like gapes, small or big, I guess it's that the way I see is it that if a girl is willing to let her ass get reemed that much and that hard she must be loving it.

I like some of the extreme stuffs--such as the well-worn superfreaky girls who have become stretched out from their real-life antics and display their accomodating holes and outrageous abilities on camera. Thank god I'm not the only one who thinks prolapse is nasty (in a bad way). At first it's a curiosty thing but then when you stop to think you realise it's totally fucking wrong in almost every conceivable way. There's probably some girl who list it as one of their 'specialities' that is when it's too far.

I don't know. Cross is right about that. I've seen some good scenes and then the director zooms way the fuck in and has the girl either bursting her intestines out, or some guy stretching it way to much so we get a really medical close-up and it will totally negate whatever went on before for me.
It has made me consider more carefully with some directors and probably pick up less product when I'm worried that something like this will be around the corner.

There's no such thing as too far. If the lady in question is enjoying getting butt fucked, then that's all the better. Complete prolapsing isn't pleasant, it's ok a few times from a curiosity point of few. But I like big gapes and the occasional rose-bud.

I hope I didn't come off as moralizing or judging. I was just trying to point to how some scenes abruptly shift to things like this, that to me totally throw where the scene was going. That bugs me on that level.
I'm not trying to judge other people if those parts of the scenes are what they want to watch, though.
I understand that fetishes don't necessarily make sense to other people, and that there's a certain attraction/repulsion thing sometimes goes hand in hand.
I'll leave it at that.

Well, there are certain directors and performers who you can just about count on to have some "medical grade" close ups in their flicks. It's kind of easy to avoid them once you know who they are. Anal, as a genre, evolved to include gapes. I've got to think there was some intelligent marketing going on here. I kind of doubt they just one day (for no reason) said "Hey! I know! Lets have gaping assholes in our stuff". I think they started doing it because they noticed that stuff with gaping was selling well. I know I wanted to see gapes before they really even started doing them. I looked for box covers that showed a gape, however small because that was all I could find. I reckon other gape lovers did the same thing and people who made anal porn noticed it.
In everything, there are always extremes. I can't say I'm really turned on by prolapses. But I've rarely seen that.
And yeah. It is kind of like a medical thing. I don't know. I like it. I can't explain it any more than I can explain why I like to watch women gargle and swallow cum. But I also don't really care for it if it gets too ritualized and seems more like a procedure than sex. There's a middle ground there somewhere.

That was a bit of an exaggeration. I just meant that there are a lot of extreme closeups in some porn flicks. As far as listing them, I don't try to avoid them and I'm not a porn encyclopedia but I'm sure some folks here can give you quite an extensive list. I know Christoph Clark is known for them. Rocco Siffedi used to do them now and then. Max Hardcore used to have some gaping but I'm not sure if he really did too many closeups of it. That was the only reason I ever watched Max's stuff, really. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really desperate for closeups.
Like I said, I'm sure someone else will come along and fill in the blanks. Hell, I'd like to know too because I like them.

I think I really wanted to gauge an opinion when I started this topic. I totally understand that there is no "too far" for the stars because they do have the choice and if they felt that they were going to prolapse they would stop.
From a viewer/fan point of view as per previously stated I like a gape, big or small, I love seeing beautiful girls getting fucked and loving it and yeah a little rosebud isn't too over the-top, if the girl can make her gape "wink" I'm all the happier.

The ladies in DenniO's stable (dennio.com) offer a fair amount of gaping and rosebud presentations.
