Does anyone know if After Hours Cinema was bought out? There have been some issues with some of their releases but they have been doing a decent job with their releases and I fear that a buy out might mean less effort in their releases. [Link] |

I've talked to company head Mike Raso about the bugging on his DVDs and he has since ceased to bug. As for new releases, there are many in the works! AHC is committed to treating classic hardcore as cinema instead of trash and will continue to put more great forgotten films on DVD from film elements only, no 25 year old video masters. The future holds releases of 2 Eduardo Cemano box sets with lots of great interviews and extras as well as a possible mega release of numerous Carter Stevens films with brand new director approved transfers. As for the release of Sylvia, while the print isn't perfect, at least it's in widescreen and has an absolutely hilarious Bill Lustig commentary. |
