Mason is incredibly overrated!!! Yes I said it. She is all hype and her movies are boring. Belladonna, Tina Tyler, Diana Devoe, and Bridgette Kerkove are way better female directors.
Tina Tyler's "Super Whores" and "Black Moon Rising" for Lex's company are top notch. Unfortunately Tina got cancer and doesn't shoot anymore. Bridgette Kerkove's "Dirrty" series and If It Ain't Black.." are way hotter and nastier than Mason's movies. Don't know what happened to Bridgette. She's doesn't appear to be shooting anymore. Diana Devoe has shot several IR and milf series for multiple companies like Candy Shop, Exquisite, and Red Light. Her stuff is lower budget but still hot and prolific. And Belladonna? Jeez Mason isn't even in the same class as her. Just my 2 cents
Having watched Mason's earlier releases and now her latest work, it's clear she has matured as a director and continues to evolve in her passion for her craft. Most noteworthy are her use of lighting, camera angle and composition... also contrast between foreground and background--nice to see her exploration of aesthetics in those arenas. Nonetheless, the question must be raised--if she's an attractive woman, why is she so camera shy? Is it because of her family? Maybe she doesn't want to be recognized on the streets? Perhaps she is also pursuing mainstream work? Or maybe maintaining the mystique contributes to her marketability? Hmmm... wondering.

What difference does it make? If she's not one of the performers, why does it matter to anyone what she looks like? Did you know what Alex DeRenzy looked like? Anyway, I like the whole secretive thing. It harkens back to the good old days when porn was furtive and seedy.
I hope she's not hiding her face because she's hiding her participation in porn or whatever would imply that pornography is wrong. That thought kills about 90% of what I enjoy about Mason and her work. I like my porn dirty, but I don't like it to be filled with shame. I hope it has to do with marketability and keeping the focus on the talent and not herself. Or maybe she's just shy. I've largely given up on guessing and just accept it. At this point if she did reveal her face in a movie, it would feel very, very odd.

I had been trying to find out who this girl that talked to the performers were. I believe the women perfomrers with her are more comfortable. Case in point, she did this scene with ava rose at the begining where ava was just teasing...and all the comment that she was making drove me nutz....literally there was another scene i saw with phoneix marie where she is struting her stuff before the shoot in broad daylight in the middle of the day...and her comments again...(mason's comments) unbelievable...i guess i might be the minority here...but i do like talking... at least that makes them more human than just a tease and then sex.... i wish someone could recommend me movies such where the directors are more conversational or the perfomers are too.. and this is i guess the main reason why i like the outrageous Wesley Pipes too..
I've only just realised that Mason & Sam No are anagrams of each other . Got all the Massive Facials to date, haven't watched any yet. I can see I'm gonna have to remedy that soon.

I might be completely wrong but I have a feeling she might have briefly been captured on camera in Remy LaCroix's first 'Mr Anal' scene for Bang Bros. Mike is doing most of the talking as expected but there's also a female voice coming from further behind the camera on occasion and I swear to god it's Mason's voice. Either that or somebody that sounds very similar. Anyway, there's a part near the beginning where you hear this female voice behind the camera while Mike is following Remy around and then he follows her around in 180 fashion - thus heading in the direction of where this voice came from - and for a split second you see a woman standing there, where you could imagine the voice would have originated from. Also, the setting for the scene is the same Mason used a lot for her Elegant Angel movies, like Massive Facials and Gangbanged. I'm probably totally wrong, but it is intriguing nontheless. On an unrelated note, I do find Mason's comments and remarks behind the camera during a scene real sexy to listen to, especially when it's directed to other people in the scene aside from the woman. The first scene I think of is Kristina Rose's blowbang scene in 'Slutwoman', where she gets almost aggressive with the guys telling them to tell Kristina what a slut she is and to treat her like one. Damn hot stuff.
^ You must watch earlier Masons stuff Macko, there is much more talking! I don't know, maybe it's just me but methinks that she slightly lisp, and I found it so seeeexy! And about Mason (Sam No) pix, it's almost impossible to find them. But...
So I'm pretty sure you see her briefly twice during Remy LaCroix - Mr Anal (02.05.2012) in profile at 01:30 and from the front at 31:38. Can anyone confirm? If so she's a very pretty dark haired lady. Or was in 2012 at least, I've heard people say she's blonde.
