I`m no expert. But from what I`ve read on this topic, I think it is more common for guys to ejaculate prematurely rather than finding it difficult to climax.
Normally guys reach their `Point of no return` far quicker when masturbating. Years of masturbating results in the individual to reach that point far quicker each time. Therefore when it comes to having sex for the first time, the guy will usually hit that point of no return far too quickly i.e. less control - conditional learning(?).

If you explore more on the foreplay and touching front, you may be more excited by the time you have sex. Also, if you find it hard to climax during sex, pull out and find other ways to make you excited in the mean time, obviously taking the ladies feelings into considerations too i.e. fellatio or a 69 and so on.
