Have you ever had such feelings of tenderness toward a particular pornstar that you couldn't get aroused at her scenes because you thought they were too exploitive, and you felt protective of her? I was like this with poor Keri Sable. I loved her. I hope she is ok. I feel a little bit like this with Sasha Grey, but Sasha is not nearly half as hot as Keri. Sorry Sasha. Sasha does seem to have a bit more going on upstairs though.

Oh yeah, I love Kelly Wells too, but I ironically I don't feel she is being as exploited. I get the feeling that Kelly Fucking Wells can take care of herself.
what a strange question. in my view, real love is a 2-way thing. you can't love someone who doesn't even know you exist. you can't love someone you've never met, no matter how many times you've seen her fuck on camera
you can be infatuated with a pornstar, even feel sympathy for the girl. but real love? no. come on
anyway to answer your question, "feelings of tenderness" have never been an obstacle to me being aroused by a pornstar's sex scene.
they are consenting adults who have chosen to do a job. that job is to have arousing sex on camera.
I used to feel that way about porn girls that I've met but then I figured that eventually I'd end up meeting pretty much all these girls at least once and if that would prevent me from being "aroused", as you put it, then I might as well hang it up.
Realize the fact that these girls are fucking on camera because they are either exhibitionists who get off on the fact that you're getting off to them, overly oversexed and love their job, in it for a paycheck or some combination thereof.
Either way my advice is lighten up. At the basest of levels it's all about fun and instant gratification anyway.
really, this whole line of thinking is weird. if you feel so "protective" of them, why even support the industry that is "exploiting" them? why are you buying and renting their videos? it reeks of hypocrisy

Some of these girls do not enjoy the scenes, and end up regretting what they do, Keri Sable, for example. It's not all fun and games. 18 is very very young, and a lot of people don't have their head on straight at 18 and end up making choices they come to regret.
and yet you are a fan of hers and have bought or rented DVDs that have her in them.
you are only aware of her because of porn. everything you know about her is related to porn.
now you're saying you "love" her so much you can't watch her porn? yeeesh. do see how twisted this is?

I am not really in love with her. I was embilishing for the sake of interesting reading. I truly do feel bad when someone engages in harmful behavor though, and it becomes confusing when the girl is so hot, and I want to see her have sex.
I was just wondering about other people's thoughts on this mix of feelings.
well lets look at the case of Allie Sin, another 18 year old chick who did porn, then wished she didn't. the scenes i have seen her in, she looks self conscious, nervous, uncomfortable, sullen, unhappy.
exploitation? no, she just didn't do a good job. she was a bad performer.
if she didn't want to be there, she shouldn't have been there. it was her choice to be there. if she was confused about that, i don't sympathize. when you are a legal adult, you are responsible for yourself.

I felt a little like that with Sasha Knox. When she went to do that Fox Reality show, I could tell she wanted out of porn. I hope things are going well for her.
Then there's Kami. Thankfully, she's still here & getting her "group therapy".
The basic question is the age old "Does the end justify the means?"
Fact: Every year tons of girls get spit out of the bottom of the porn machine.
Fact: Every year at least one girl takes the industry by storm.
Would you give up Tory Lane's performances to save the thousand or so girls that never make it? What about Hillary Scott or Sierra Sinn or Sasha Grey (for all you fanboys) or any other starlet that shot right to the top?

I do get a funny tingling in my tummy when I watch Sunny Lane. It's not love but I don't know what it is (overwhelming desire frustrated perhaps?). I could imagine loving her if I ever got to know her but that's a very different thing.
One should never feel love for a porn star. They'd do, and did do anything for the money, with anyone. It's foolishness to love one.
One you dont know the person. Second, shed come with an emotional luggage the size of arkansas. Thirdly, all her orifices have been repeatedly used and abused, cum splattered by strangers so whats sexy about her? Porn stars are to be watched fucking.
Love your girlfriend, wife, but never a porn star.
Porn stars claim to "love" all their fans to get to money, get their movies sold, etc. It's all a fake. They couldnt give a damn about you. And do you feel special because you are one of the millions she'd love? what an honor.
Same goes for loving prostitutes.

I think that pornstar can't love her fans. They just say it to keep the fans loyal and make them believe that she loves the fans but in reality she just doesnt care about them and on conventions I think that she would rather be somewhere else rather than with the fans.
these porn chicks are regular people, I don't need to look down on them to enjoy watching the films.Same thing with strippers.......they provide fantasy entertainment.....they get paid....and then they go home .
They love their fans the same way other entertainers love their fans.....
It's all entertainment..... --------------
I used to really dig Crown Princess, and I saw some boxcovers and films of hers that I wouldn't ever rent/buy.......but in porn it's pretty much truth in advetising....the title tells you what's gonna happen....
I can't relate to what you're talking abot ,Arnold.

But what about that fan that used his life savings to get to the latest convention thousands of miles to meet his favorite pornstar?
I think the word love is a little bit over used. You might like a girls looks alot, like ALOT. You like to jerk off watching her, but love...? no i dont think so. At least not if u never met her/him in person (no, saying hi at a convention does not qualify imo)
I assume it's a poll. No, I find a lot of female performers within the porn industry hot and amazing, but I have never had a crush on any of them (which I believe they're grateful for).
Which doesn't change the fact that the typical male porn fan is basically the human male in his most natural state of mind and being. So.....whatever women's opinions of porn fans....whether they find us disgusting or whatever, we are not anything that God/nature/evolution/whatever you believe in didn't make us.
It is often said that "men are dogs" and that is so. We are. That is our natural frame of mind. We're always horny, not incredibly bright, will attempt to mount pretty much anything that moves, lazy and willing to fight at the drop of a hat. It doesn't take any special training for a male to behave naturally. On the contrary, it takes quite a bit of effort to civilize a human male....which is the biggest indicator of the fact that civilization isn't natural. We're supposed to eat our competitors and brutalize our way to success. The weak are supposed to end up under the feet of the strong.
Whether that seems right or wrong to you or I is irrelevant. It's just a fact. We've cheated nature for ages and you see the consequences around you every day. Nature isn't supposed to be pretty or fair or pleasant. Check out a carnivore having dinner. That's life. You can put yourself in a plastic bubble and avoid a whole hell of a lot but the real world is still there and it isn't going anywhere.
But what does any of this have to do with loving porn stars? I dunno. I was just responding to your post.
And my honest, serious response (to the original question, that is) is that I guess it would depend. Almost nothing is impossible.
I feel that most of what you see on the screen when you watch porn is acting (at least on the female side of things). Whatever their reasons for doing porn are, that's going to be an individual thing that only they know. But every now and then, you will see what I guess would be called (and this isn't my term but it works, I guess) "a natural slut". This is the girl who just goes into the zone anytime she's fucking, sucking or doing anything sexual. She doesn't care as long as it involves dick and sex. This girl isn't acting. This is literally the only kind of work that would make her happy.
When I see a woman like that on screen, I really can't help but feel a connection with her. I don't know that I'd call it love but I know she's staring right through that camera and I know she's speaking to whom ever may be watching on a subconscious level and what she's saying. This is rare but anyone who's been watching porn long enough will know exactly what I'm talking about.
Is it love? I don't know. It stokes a raging fire somewhere deep in the pit of my stomach and I feel something very similar to love. I know that when I take that movie back, I'm going to look for more of her stuff because I'll miss her if I don't.
i am not saying it is impossible to love a woman who happens to be a pornstar, provided you have met each other, spent time together and learned about each other....interacted together as real people. pornstars are human beings capable of and worthy of relationships like anyone else.
i am saying it is impossible to love someone who your only connection to is watching her video scenes. like what the thread starter describes. that's not real interaction. that is merely consuming pornography product.
not for nothing married_lucky, i am coming to dislike your posts and general attitude to porn.

I know if I could only have sex with one person for the rest of my life it would be Vicki Richter. I don't love her though. You know why you can't love a porn star is b/c they aren't around for the bad times once you turn the DVD off. You know you love someone once you get through really bad times
okay, I hope anyone reading this doesn't think this is a bit much…
I very much agree with Random Precision's second post re: "natural sluts," although I really dislike calling women sluts and whores: when a man (or another woman) calls a woman that, most often he essentially is saying that he's better than her, that she's trash and he can do whatever he wants to her. While much of human history is central to this tendency, and as such is "natural," I really dislike it and wish that thuggish behavior by male talent would be discouraged on porn sets…although I understand that the market ultimately calls the shots…
anyway, I don't love any porno star. But I do think sometimes you can see what kind of person she is, and be very taken with her. Porno has many codes and rituals, obviously, that distinguish it from other types of media. But one thing that it has in common with any other "performance"-based entertainment or um, art, is that sometimes you see who a person is. I can experience an exceptional musician, actor or whatevah and see something real and geniune and something that is key to who they are. I believe that i have witnessed porno gals communicating something personal when they do something that I find deeply, deeply hot…I can't be 100% sure of this, and I welcome anyone telling me I'm a sucker for seeing something genuine in porno when I don't know these people or what their motivations are.
For instance, I think that Haley Paige seems like a really sweet young lady: the very troubling things I have heard happened to her when she was younger may contribute to her decision to make money having sex on camera. But once she did, she seems like an exceptionally gentle person. One with KILLER pontoons, too…but I think in many of the scene I saw her do, she communicated not only her sexuality, but her vulnerability…she's kinda hypnotic to me…
Now, when a camera isn't present, a sexual encounter does give you the opportunity to see who someone really is, and they see who you are. While I don't go along with RP's points about civilization being wholly contrary to the natural state of humanity, one of its functions is to ensure that people do not exhibit free sexuality. When you have sex with someone, and that sex is freely exchanged, many of social boundaries are gone, and can be very free of everyday artifice (obviously, it's complicated enough that often these qualities do intercede).
Porn, though, is a transaction, one that American society is especially uncomfortable with: a woman is not supposed to exhibit her sexuality so explicitly. Here, though, "explicit"= "honest." Scarlett Johansen or Mischa Barton or whoever trade on their sexuality, but they don't take it all the way. Whereas Delilah Strong, Tory Lane, Eva Angelina or whoever you might name are kinda courageous—their actions say "I'm going to do something that my culture frowns upon, that's (very likely) my parent's worst nightmare. But I'm going to do it, and I'm going to make $$$, and you can go jump in the lake if you don't like it." They'll do it for as long as it makes sense for them, move on and hopefully have good lives.
Doing porn is very similar to outlaw behavior: although it is perfectly legal and, in my view, not at all deleterious or immoral in a time where Dick Cheney bestrides the earth.
They fuck on film, and thus tell us something that a very very mixed up society simply does not want said or represented. How many of us can say that we are brave enough to live like that? Not me!
So I don't love my fave gals. But I have great admiration and affection for them, since in an activity that is a commercial exchange, something I recognize as the TRUTH surfaces from time to time. And this truth is actively despised in mainstream society. And they do it anyway. What else can you ask of someone you'll never meet? They share something with us.

Nicely said veronica moser. That is kind of what I was trying to say in my original post, but I severely lack the skill with the word things that people use to express themselves.
Interesting. I just dumped a load into Haley's mouth after a week of no sex that literally filled her mouth like a Venti Starbuck's latte. She's the sweetest girl I've ever met.
I'm too afraid of Haley's pussy cause she's not on birth control yet. She's very fertile sometimes so I gave her a gift and let her blow me. It was hilarious. I pulled a Peter North on her. My balls felt like watermelons ready to explode.
I think its the unpresidented access we all have to pornatars now. I remember porn before VHS! Now if you see someone intresting you can find way to much about them if you try. Its like the news today. All the bad shit in the world was always there, but not talked about. Now if something happens tragicly anywhere in the world, its in your face 15 min. later. Its a new dynamic we are dealing with and our emotions need to adjust.
naah, only if you don't actually know the pornstar in question! Other than that, its as much stalking as it would be to be "in love" with any woman you don't actually have a relationship with.
I loved one once...as much as anyone can say they loved any person that they are no longer with...so whats the point of all this, anyway?
