I believe in the KISS method; keep it simple stupid. In other words I am having difficulty cutting and pasting photos in the forum. Can anybody give me really simple instructions on how it is done, step by step?

Click the Upload Image button below your post:
step-1.jpg
This will open the quickie image uploader popup. (If you have a popup blocker it may prevent this window from opening.) In the quickie uploader you use the file browser in the upper left area that's circled in red to pick a file from your computer to upload. We do not allow you to upload images from internet locations. The file must be stored on your computer. Also, if you're not familiar with the Image Policy please take a moment to read it. There's a link to it in the bottom right circled in the image below.

After you have selected the image from your computer click the Upload button. Your computer will start sending the file our way. We'll update the status of the upload along the way. If you're uploading a file that's too large or if your internet connection is too slow to complete the upload in a reasonable timeframe our uploader will display an error and quit. It will also stop if it detects a virus or if you're trying to upload something other than one of our supported file types.
If your upload is accepted you'll see a page a lot like this one with a smaller version of your image displayed at the bottom instead of my old turbocharger.

Look at the instructions on this page. They are important. You need to copy/paste the appropriate line of forum image code into your post. Do you need help with the copy/paste process?

Also, you can also view any of your uploaded files in the Files and Folders section of your ADT profile. Your profile is accessible using the link in the top right area of the screen. Go to the images tab, and then click the Files and Folders link to see a folder tree of your uploads. Click on a file name to get the info on your uploaded file(s) including the correct forum or HTML code.
The files and folders page looks like this:

There's a multiple file upload option on this page too. It works a little differently than our quickie uploader. The instructions for using both are spelled out there on the page at the top.
