Okay, I've tried to sit on this one, but it's too weird.
In June I bought some sex toys including a love leash. I asked my husband to try the love leash solo, before we messed with it together. Three months pass, we have other toys to try and most of the time don't use any anyhow, but eventually I ask, hey, did you ever try that. He says he hasn't beat off since we got it. I ask if he's *sure*. He says (with a conspiratorial smile) that I monopolize his hard time.
(One time after sex, he was still hard for a while, so I asked and he tried the toy out a bit).
But now it's closer to 5 months, he still hasn't jerked off. I asked him if I should order him to, he kind of laughs and says no. I ask if I should cut him off for a day or two, he laughs and says no.
I'm not worried about it, it's not causing a problem or anything, but what's up with that? I have sex as often as he does, and I still find occasion to get re-acquainted with myself.
Anybody got any experience like this? How do I wrap my mind around this?
You always ask the tough questions. I can speak from personal experience on this somewhat. When my partner and I got together we had so much sex that I found myself not having any need for "stroke time". Once the raging hormones subsided a little, about 9 months later, our sex life settled down a bit and I took up my solo activities again.
So sometimes there just isn't any desire for masturbation, and other times there is. I say it's a phase and you should just let him enjoy as much of you as possible.
Now a question, what is a love leash? Not familliar with that term.
A few stolen dry strokes is all I can spare. You've got a cockleash you want me to wear. Though I try to resist Doing anything but piss, No fantasy woman's gonna do-hoo. So I'm savin all my lust for you.
It's not very easy not touching my bone. Your friends on ADT say, "It's ok. Leave him 'lone." But each time I try To make "Little Lindi" cry, I'd rather be screwing lovely you-hoo :) So I'm saving all my lust Till my nuts are nearly bustin Yes I'm saving all my lust for yoooooou
My wife hardly ever masturbates on her own. And yes, most of our toys collect a lot of dust between uses. She says she doesn't really get anything out of it and prefers the 'real thing.' I think she needs more of a fantasy life, not that she doesn't have one, but she doesn't exercise it enough (I think her two pool boys one is pretty hot).
As for me, I can hardly make it through my morning shower.
I remember forgetting something and going back home to find the bedroom door locked and the radio blaring. When she finally opened the door I was hit by the familiar smell of a particular lubricant. Glancing in the closet I saw a vibrator tossed on the shelf. Her reaction? Total denial. She's a lot more open now than she was then.
We do masturbate together occaisionally. The last time was in the back of our motor home. Intercourse wasn't working too well since the boys complain about it rocking the rig (would you two cut it out). So we improvise a little.
Thanks for bumping this thread; it's an interesting one that lindi posted long before I signed up for my tour of duty on ADT. I always love to hear about how your two sons make sex challenging for you and your wife -- these stories make me smile and give me more anxiety to look forward to with my wife and my two boys.
SueR,
Loved your "Ode to Mr. Lindi". I can't get to sleep tonight, but at least I can read your now-historic lyrics and laugh my ass off. (Yikes!!! I hope I didn't wake the kids with that one . . . [Bob listens intently] . . . okaaay, luckily they're still snoozing, as is the missus -- all is well).
skronker,
Did you get a love-leash for Christmas? Was your stocking properly stuffed?
lindi,
Can you give your adoring fans an up-date on "The Love-Leash and Mr. Lindi"? (Hey, that title has a classic construction and cadence to it -- "The Devil and Daniel Webster", "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" -- I may be onto something here!)

He jerked off twice in January and twice since then, but never tried the love leash. Ever since he turned 45, his refractory period is longer, and we have sex daily, so he's still not getting a lot of solo action. For some reason, he prefers me.
Lately he strokes to practice the stuff in the book The Multi-Orgasmic Man, but not to completion. (He doesn't mind me posting this stuff).
That damned love leash is gathering dust. But only because we have plenty of other things to do.
Mine are 6-1/2 and 2-1/3 and they run my wife and me ragged, but we're grinning and joking about it most of the time. My children both fell in love with their penises at an early age (and maybe most boys do, I just don't have any frame of reference), which makes me laugh uproariously with self-recognition and smile at the sometimes-simplicity of life. The prospect of their adolescence does scare the living shit out of me, however.
Three boys must really be tough, if two is any indication. However, it sounds as if and your wife have mastered "zone defense" parenting and the early onset of your kids' adulthood with humor and grace. I'll have to get the instructional manual from you one of these day.
