Thanks for all of the updates. You truly stood out in a special era. I remember renting your films when I went away to college. The VHS era will always be unmatched because of the boxcovers and focus on narrative..

As a teenager myself at that time, I considered myself a Vanessa Chase fan. I also liked Janine because she was also in one of my favorite cult films, Spring Fever USA. I put her up there with Betsy Russell in Private School for Girls.

Anyway, back to the topic. It makes me feel great to know you've come full circle.

In the AOL era, I remember searching for what you decided to do next. I read the Brasil rumor. I also remember reading a "fan page" that some professor (?) made about you in which he actually researched you (where you went to school, your family etc) and I think he may have even written poetry on there. He justified it by saying he was a big fan and that his colleague from work shared that admiration with him.

It was the early days of the internet, so sometimes the things you'd read online were very strange.

I can imagine how it would feel if you were basically a kid and you were reading some of these things. I can't blame you for feeling watched - as if the world was a fish bowl.

Porn is a very hard business.It's sometimes lost on most people that the product (young female bodies) are attached to living brains that need to somehow make sense and meaning from the experience.

Personally, as a man, I don't have much respect for the Max Hardcores or Ryan Madisons in that business.

I'm just happy that you made it out and didn't end up a casualty like Alyssa Funke after she got caught up with Scottie Platinum, owner of Plush Talent.

You can say that my path since you were in films has brought about some consciousness raising of my own. I can't believe it's already been that many years.

Guys/girls - it's been way too long. Like a YEAR!

My main excuse is having to get children off to college (I hope that isn't a fantasy killer) and the fact we moved from California to another state entirely. I've been blogging this week for the first time in a while, and I hope we're all still friends.

I'm especially interested in learning whether any of y'all would be interested in me doing cam shows on, like, streamate.com or something? They sure don't make it easy for performers to sign up. I'm waiting for them to request a DNA sample. But I'm pretty close. Let me know. More on that below:
