I don't see a help link, nor any help available for the avatars, but for whatever reason, I cannot get my avatar uploaded.

I've cleared the cache and all that.

Click on the profile link at the top of any page in the forum and sign-on. A popup will appear that has a link to "Add Avatar", click on that and follow the instructions.

Hi Bill,

Yeah I was doing that, but it still wasn't coming up. It didn't say that there was any problem though, but the image just wouldn't appear.

Anyways, I saved the image to my C drive, and pulled it from there instead of the web site, and that seems to have worked for whatever reason.

How were you providing an address for a website to the avatar uploader?

I know this is late, but I have seen this problem when the image format is not accepted. Or, you may have the file open in Adobe Photoshop or something where the PC will not let go of the image. These are just guesses though.

The problem was that Nitescape was copy/pasting a URL into the filename field in the uploader screen. I should update that page to indicate that the file needs to be stored on your local computer or network and not on the internet.
