I want to switch from AOL to MSN The problem is that after I insert the MSN cd to my cd drive, nothing happen. After that, I follow the instructions on the cd case. <<If the CD doesn't run automatically open MY COMPUTER on the desktop. Double click the CD drive and then double-click setup>> but still nothing happens. All I get is the first page of MSN Installation Wizard and that's it. what am I doing wrong??

You may not be doing anything wrong. It could be a bad CD. However, just to be sure, have you verified that your system meets the requirements to install MSN? Have you made sure your system is free of viruses? Have you shut down all other programs before running the install?

A while ago, I was subscribed to AOL and wanted to switch to another ISP (not MSN). And I encountered something similar to what you experienced. When I double-click on the executable of the new ISP program to start the installation. Nothing happen. I called the new ISP and they said there is something in AOL that's preventing the new program from running and that I need to uninstall AOL program before I can install the new program.

Not sure if your problem is related, but have you uninstalled AOL yet? If not, maybe you can give that a try to see if it help with the problem.

I was thinking the same thing but I'm afraid I'll loose all the pictures I have in it. To uninstalled AOL I just right click and then click on DELETE, right?

Gack! No! First, it sounds like you need to save all those pictures. AOL may automatically save them for you but to be on the safe side you should probably locate them and move them into a different folder.

After you've done that you need to go to the Control Panel and run the Add/Remove Programs program. You uninstall AOL from there. You probably have a copy of the "Control Panel" folder in MY COMPUTER, so go there to get to it.
