Second, you say you know how to get into the BIOS. Can you get in and tell if the BIOS has the CD/DVD drive(s) listed?

| stinkfist Senior Member  Subterfuge...... 7401 Posts 4/07 |  Posted - Oct 14 2009 : 9:12PMMy computer "packed up" on me 2 weeks ago and a friend had a look at it for me to check the hard drive etc.It turned out the problem was a power issue but during my friend checking it he had tried his hard drive in my pc etc.My computer is now fixed(someone else fixed it) but i have the following problem i think my friend changed the BIOS settings as my computer does not recognize cd's or dvd's now..is it to do with the Slave and Master? Any help would be welcome,if i get the guy who fixed the pc back out he might charge me-i know how to get into the BIOS section etc.Thanks. [Link] |
