I've asked this question and got very little response in the past.

Is there a good, free, and easy to use file hosting website? I see photobucket used a lot, but after a couple days the pics go to "Bandwidth Exceeded".

I'm interested in posting pics with some of my ADT posts in the near future. Would I be better off using a file hosting site? OR Would it be better to create a hosted website and throw the pics on that?

Any "LEGIT" help would be appreciated.

i think photobucket and pbase.com get used the most, but they 've got some limitations, although i've heard better things about pbase as of late. i think they share the limit-you-till-we-upsell thing with most similar sites. if it's just a couple of dozen pics, you could probably throw them up on a yahoo-type album for free, maybe someone more into pictures knows the real holy-grail for free hosting and could chime in.

If you want to post a blueified link to a picture you'll have to link to an HTML page , not a JPG . Freeimagelibrary that the perv just mentioned is one of the only ones which work that way , from what I've found . You have to register to use it , but it's free and easy . Just like me , in fact .

imageshack's the another one i've heard good things about. same registration deal, allows hyperlinking up to 100mb bandwidth/day i think.

Yeah , I've used them in the past - the one with the frog , too . Maybe I should have mentioned that for this site you need to use and HTML page if you wanna link with the URL tabs , otherwise it'll go all kersquewy . 2257 updates and all that jazz .

Here , check out how foxy Jackie Guerrido looks in this clip I was just sent . (click on free at bottom of the page , then the file at bottom of the next)

imageshack.us?
I don't think you need registration there, and they've worked quite well in the past.
IIRC, they're not keen on adult stuff though.

My bookmarks are old, so I can't say if any of these will do what you want or not. But here are some urls that you can check out:

www.imagevenue.com
www.imagehigh.com
www.free-webhosts.com/free-image-hosting.php
www.glowfoto.com

imagevenue won't work for ADT since it only links to .jpg extensions.

Cannot post a link to a .jpg . Right.

But can't just post the url as text? so that anyone reading can just copy and paste it in their browser?

Sure, of course. I know a lot of members don't copy-paste though. If it can't be clicked, they won't bother.

...which is why I got the Linkification extension for Mozilla. It turns any test URL into a link automatically.

I thought it was ok to post urls as text. Just checking to be sure. :)

Thanks
