Thanks for the tip timotei.
I am in Australia, and as I purchased my DVDs online from the states, the online retailers will not accept responsibility for the discs as they are now (much) older than 3 weeks old. I would consider throwing these discs away if it weren't for the fact that the problem exists with 2 discs, not just one, and, due to our poor exchange rate in Australia, I feel that when purchasing a relatively expensive DVD - it should play and not fail.

Basically, I feel like Anabolic does not care about my problem. It seems Evil Angel does everything they can to rectify similar issues.

Has anyone ever received replacement discs from Anabolic?
Thanks!

"Where are all the threads discussing disc rot with anabolic / Diabolic? "

Actually, I have 2 Anabolic/Diabolic discs that now do not play.

I have emailed Diabolic, but they never replied.

Are there any Anabolic/Diabolic reps on this board who can help?
Thanks!
Glenn74.

Out of curiosity, what are the Ana/Dia titles that do not play? I heard some of their early DVD-9 released had problems.

Balls Deep 2, and, Cream of the Crop.

Can anybody give me some advice?

Glenn74: if you've tried contacting the studio and had no reply, you could try the store where you bought the discs. They might take them for exchange, or maybe they would contact their distributor to find out what the situation is.

I had my Anabolic disc of Nice Rack #6 go bad, and fail to play at all. In the end I just threw it in the bin, and chalked it up to bad luck. At least Evil Angel were good enough to swap discs.

Also, if you want to discuss Anabolic disc problems, it should probably go into a new thread.

You might like to try the California AG's office

Attorney General's Office
California Department of Justice
Attn: Public Inquiry Unit
P.O. Box 944255
Sacramento, CA 94244-2550

http://caag.state.ca.us/

Include all necessary evidence and emails they failed to respond to. I don't think the company you bought them from will replace them.

Others you can write to are Consumer Protection and BBB, but I think these lazy people just photocopy letters and send them to the complainees and complainers.
