the top row middle clip is Savanna Samson sucking Rocco from "Rocco Meats An American Angel In Paris" if i'm not mistaken. and if so, do they have your permission to use that footage?

they sure are charging an arm and a leg for what looks to be a bunch of bootlegged clips

Unfortunately, bootlegged clips are like MP3s these days. They're available on P2P and on the web, often at a price but also often for free (or for a nominal charge by the adult verification services). There are some sites that offer up to 3gb of bootlegged movies for free and there are posting boards that move probably 100mb of movies an hour.

Not sure what can be done about it ... just for us to remain loyal, supportive buyers I suppose.

i agree rieekan, but to me there's a difference between P2P file sharing and some bozos creating a business and making a profit off these clips. not that either form of copyright infringement is ok.

wetmartini - i agree, there's a huge difference. in some ways p2p can help the market, the clips are teasers that get people to buy the whole movie. porners can use p2p to market their product (eg the producers releasing the clips with info on where to buy the movie.) but when someone creates a business profitting from someone else's copyrighted work that's just plain stealing.

if studios are interested, maybe we can provide an easy way for people to report copyright infringement / bootlegged DVDs.

i agree, small clips can be used to encourage sales in a manner very similar to screenshots. but i've also seen some 200+ mb clips available that are definitely not designed to be teasers. i have to admit, the temptation has been there to download some of these, but the fact that i'm on a 56K dialup connection makes it easy to resist lol.

i think providing an area to report copyright infringements is a fantastic idea, and one that all members of ADT should support - if for no other reason than selfishness. aside from possibly increasing the amount of traffic ADT receives from industry reps, anything that harms the profitability of our favorite adult studios can ultimately affect the quality of product made available to us.

thanks for tip. I'll pass the info on to our web department. They'll send a cease and desist letter.

It's almost not worth it for us to sue people like this, because they just fold the existing company and open up under another name.
