The better the acting the better for my tastes. I'm looking for a reasonably good story or atleast mayhem with a theme. I like Texas Chainsaw massacre, Nightmare on Elm street, Friday the thirteenth kind of stuff as well as good suspense limited gore kinds of horror too, so I'm fairly open. Sex wise I would prefer something more normal, not the far out there extreme stuff that you usually find in horror driven porn. I don't mind a little weirdness, but the blood splattered, steel spiked dildo stuff is a little off the mark for me. Any good suggestions would be appreciated thanks. [Link] |

It's pretty transgressive stuff, far from erotic, but fabulous nonetheless. James Avalon's masterpiece Les Vampyres might also be of interest. It actually owes more to the lyrical vampire films of the seventies than the visceral horror you mentioned, but is still highly recommended. A peerless adult movie, in my humble opinion. Finally, there's a Nic Cramer movie called Back and Beyond that might fit the bill. A group of college friends reunite at a luxorious mansion and encounter the ghost of an absent friend. It's been a while since I've seen it but I remember being quite pleased with the purchase. Actually, a few of Nic Cramer's movies from this period are vaguely horror-themed. I haven't seen it myself but apparently it's quite a nice disk. Any potential buyers should note that there's an uncut (hardcore) and an 'r' rated version available.
