Wasn't sure which thread to start this in but this one seemed most appropriate, apologies if it's in wrong place, mod please can you move to correct place?.
Just out of interest, does anyone know which hosting company sites like FTVgirls, Brazzers, Reality Kings and Bang Bros use?? Do they do it all in house? Outsource to dedicated adult hosting companies, or just go with the market leader??
What would this cost them a month?.
Thanks :)

I seriously doubt there's a one size fits all answer.
When it comes to outsourcing site owners have to weigh up the benefits of cost savings against assurances that aren't made in service level agreements and if any of those sites outsource hosting, I don't think they'd be too keen on their names being made public unless necessary due to today's culture of hacking and DDOS attacks.

The bigger sites are running a min of 3 dedicated servers with 10tb space 100tb bandwidth 10gb connection each server cost $300 to $600 a month. They also have a min of 5gb ddos protection with like a couple of 100tbs of clean bandwidth this cost $300 to $800 real good ddos protection is not cheap.

Thanks guys and how much would this cost for everything, including hosting the site itself.
So is there any providers specifically you can recommend?

Where do you get this info? Is DDOS protection an absolute must?

If you want your main stream of revenue to stay up during a script kiddie assault, yeah.
