The Penny Flame/Sammie Rhodes scene, for example, was funny, sweet and yet hot all at the same time. You really can't go wrong. And as for actresses to keep an eye on, just about anything with Sinn Sage is made of win. But for me, unlike to many others, looks of the girls and women are equally important to me than their enthusiasm in a scene. There's no point for me in watching a scene where Sinn Sage gets freaky with Annabelle Lee. Even though they're both bisexual for real and very much into women, I just can't look at them, does nothing for me. On the other hand there's no point either in watching two super hotties who stuff each other's orifices with toys but barely touch each other. Triangle would be my number three of those all-girl studios, because they're casting is good (having shot a Julia Ann/Lisa Ann scene is genius), the sex is great, but somehow I'm not coming around completely with them. Abigail and The L Factor have put out great movies like A Woman's Desire or Lesbian Road Trip Florida Edition, but they're both very hit and miss. Casting wise they can both get very edgy, meaning that sometimes they really use butch, heavily tattoed or women with freaky hair. That's definitely not to everybody's liking. Bellezza is a rather small studio whose mastermind is a guy called Omar, and as far as I know he still has a "regular" job and shoots his movies just for fun, more or less. I really like some of his movies, but again, the casting isn't always that great. Well, Viv Thomas, he's the European master of G/G erotica. I'd say his Pink Velvet trilogy and the Unfaithful series are cornerstones of this genre and two of the best G/G series ever made. One of the good things he's doing is also one of the bad things. By using mostly the same girls over and over again he and his crew have really established a relationship with them (e.g. Sandy, Jo, Peaches, Sandra Shine,...) which allows VT to get the best out of those girls. The bad thing is, you're always watching the same girls. Bad because I'd like my fair share of new faces and stars. But there's also a name which has quality written all over it, Mike Quasar. Both the Finger Licking Good and the Girlvana series are really something special and one can only hope they'll never come to an end. I really don't mind watching amateur girls, as long as they're pretty and hot, but that's not often the case with Abby Winters. I recently purchased some DVDs though, just because of Chloe B, who is easily one of the hottest natural girls I've ever seen. All that being said, there's also some nice mainstream G/G work out there. I really dig the whole WTBA series, from number one to number 19, No Man's Land has some very good editions, now and then, e.g. the first MILF edition is awesome (Deauxma & Kristal Summers) or the latest Interracial edition. The Babes Illustrated series was great at the beginning, very poor in the middle, but from number 16 on they picked up the pace again, e.g. #18 with Puma Swede & Jessica Jaymes and Lisa Ann & Jayden Jaymes scenes. When it comes to black lesbian porn there's not really much to talk about. The Sista series is very hit and miss (but number 25 is actually quite good), e.g. Holla Black Girlz is awful from start to finish. But the Big Ass Slumber Party series is the one and only lucidum intervallum (apart from number 5). Here's my toplist of scenes again: All-Girl Studio: Puma Swede & Deauxma from Lesbian Triangles 3 (GFF) Mainstream Studio: Nina Mercedez & Tera Patrick from WTBA19 (Vivid) Website: Molly & Taylor Vixen: 'Celebration Time' from WeLiveTogether tied with Molly & Alessandria Love: 'Topless Tanning' from MollysLife So, and here's my wish list for the future: 1. someone has to film the Julia Ann/Puma Swede scene 2. bring Dyanna Lauren back to G/G, if possible pair her with Julia Ann 3. more black girls in G/G movies or more all-black series by GFF or SV 4. no more gay-for-pay; if you don't like girls, just don't do it, wait until you get a scene where your face is plastered by cum from 10 men and both your holes are filled, just stay away from G/G, thank you! 5. pixelation in JAV has to come to an end (that's possibly the least of things to happen) 6. the Blondage reunion of Julia Ann and Janine, and someone has to shoot a whole movie only with these two [Link] |

And even though she has really aged well IMO and is still hot and sexy, Julia still has that little extra spark. That doesn't take away anything from Shayla's girl on girl performances, because that aforementioned G/G/G/G/G scene is just one of the hottest things you might ever see. But it also may be as simple as Julia having ultimately shot way more G/G stuff than Shayla. Additionally Julia has done some outstanding work for GFF and all of her scenes there so far, with no exception at all, are absolutely epic. The only small disappointment was her scene with Lisa Ann in Triangle's When Ginger Met Nina - Girls Night Out. I usually like Triangle very much, but they somehow couldn't handle this supposedly great scene. It's funny, because the latest episode on PornStarsLick.com has Julia and Lisa paired together, and that's way hotter than their Triangle encounter. As I've said, I haven't seen Shayla's Sweetheart scene in Lesbian Mentors yet, but I'm very eager to do so. The movie has 5 vignettes with each one having Nyomi paired with one of the other girls and each scene starts with the other girl dancing and looking into the camera (camera appreciation throughout the whole movie). While the cast is top notch from start to finish, the movie unfortunately has several flaws, beginnin with the bad lighting in scenes one through four. Then someone obviously had the idea of wanting to make this flick look artsy in some kind of way, because it's terribly cut, and, the girls don't really get into each other, a good portion of each scene seems to be some kind of Playboy video where the girls pose for the camera instead of really having sex together. And that just takes away pretty much any chemistry between the girls. When they go down on each other they all seem to really let loose, but other than that, it's posing. And therefore the kissing is awful and actually non existing. Admittedly, the movie has its moments, but it would have needed many many more of those. And when the girls seem to have started to kiss the camera fades away from the kissing action and films something else. Yeah, that's really porny and I thought these days were gone, but obviously not. I know that we lezlovers have been spoiled by GFF and some other G/G companies, but at least a little bit better would have been possible and definitely nice. I really thought Nyomi Banxxx would deliver one hell of an all-girl movie, because her G/G stuff usually is pretty good, especially her two GFF appearances with Luscious Lopez in Women Seeking Women 33 (a superb IR scene with lots of kissing) and with Magdalene in Girls In White 5. Obviously I was wrong when I thought she would have used some of that experience with GFF or maybe it just wasn't her call and someone else called the shots on set. One way or the other, Nyomi's Diary is a major disappointment. - - - - - - - - - After blowing some steam now to something completely different, well, not really, because it's also an all-black all-girl movie, it's the sixth installment of the Big Ass Slumber Party series from Black Ice. [Image not found DB] And once again they can uphold the high level they set with the first edition, and this is definitely the best all-black G/G series. You get over two hours of black, toy-free girl on girl sex performed by a beautiful cast from start to finish. But again, one girls shines and really stands above the rest, and that's Misty Stone. Right now she's my favorite black G/G performer and every time she delivers one hell of a scene (even in GFF's Road Queen 9 with a most uninterested Holly West). There's a lot of kissing in this movie, a lot of deep kissing, they all pay a nice amount of time caressing each other's boobs and they really go down hard on each other. One can only hope that Black Ice will continue to produce this fine series. - - - - - - - - - Finally, my Kittens & Cougars DVD arrived, but I just was able to scan through the scenes as I have tons of other movies to watch first. But from what I have seen so far, this movie could be one of the best G/G movies of all time. Given the cast and pairings, given the kissing moments I have seen so far and some other stuff.
