I think most of the houses are bought by speculators who were never going to move in anyway. Rather than just have the house constantly empty, they allow shoots. I remember Cytherea had a deal on a house because she was dating the guy who owned it and she could have lived their for free if she hasn't let her dogs pee everywhere. No one wanted to shoot there. You would think in this mortgage crisis, that with homes being in foreclosure, we would have a bunch of new(and cleaner) locations. Does anyone know what it costs to rent out a house for a day of shooting?
I've seen that first place in a bunch of flicks. That's one of my favorite porno houses. Dana will probably now tell me that place is one of the stys she was talking about.
^^That's good to hear. Those houses are in bunches of flicks I watch. There's a couple of those places I'd love to live in. Kisses and strokes for you while I have your attention, Dana.

Is there a minimum number of hours you must rent the house?
My dear Dana, you know I love you but in this case I have to disagree. In almost 12 years I did more than 2000 scenes. And yes, some places were pretty filthy, but most of the time they are pretty decent houses. But coming back to the original question. We are here in "movie land". There are location scouts who work mostly for Hollywood but also for us. They have all kinds of locations in their repertoire. Mostly private homes, but also everything else. From the Freddy Krueger boiler room to shops, offices, factories, bars, etc. Some allow porn some doesn't. The standard price for a private home to rent is between 80 and 150 Dollar per hour, with 3 hour minimum for a gonzo shoot with a small team. Big feature productions with a large team pay more. And than there are this very porn friendly houses. They don't care for Hollywood. Because Hollywood pays better but shoots rarely. But there at least 50 porn shoots every day in the San Fernando Valley. And some houses are booked every day for an average of 5-7 hours. Steve Holmes

Steve, the standards of cleanliness for men are much lower for men than they are for women.
Location homes are rented from $100-300 per hour or you can get a day rate. Some really high end homes are more. But your average run of the mill nice clean location home with a pool is about that. Melanie Scott XXX
