They've continue to top themselves from month to month with such unique packages as Eye Of The Beholder (the industry's first fully lenticular cover for both VHS and DVD) and The Collector (a beautiful shadow DVD sleeve).

No problem, I should have been clearer in my post. It's a three-dimensional shadowbox DVD sleeve. Basically the front hss clear panels so you can see illustrations and photos printed inside the box. I can't say with absolute certainty that it's an industry first, but I don't believe I've seen a sleeve quite like it before.

I know this is off topic a bit, but while we're commending Wicked on the fine boxtop artwork, I think we should also take a second and recognize the great product found inside the box. I've been a Wicked fan for years and am very loyal to the brand. Girls float in and out of the industry so sometimes it's very difficult to find a girl who has the longevity of a studio. I know what I like in girls, and I also know what I like in my porn. When I buy Wicked I know exactly what I'm getting, and I also know the quality of the talent is extremely high. I always look forward to seeing the new product being offered from Wicked, and I can't wait to see what's in the pipeline.

I'm not so happy about the DVD authoring on Space Nuts' though (there he goes again).
I'll never quite forgive them for letting such a blundered DVD slip out the door. Especially in a flagship title where everything else came together so beautifully. For shame.

On the subject of packaging I'm not keen on DVD sleeves or cardboard boxes.
It's commendable that they deem it worthwhile to spend a little extra on packaging. But I'd much prefer that money was put towards high quality Amaray cases instead of extra fluff that makes them physically stick out from the rest of my boxes.
It's no biggie. if that stuff sells I can live with it just fine, but I'd still prefer Amarays to sleeves and boxes.

Regarding the differences in DVD sleeves, yes, we normally use double-sides sleeves, with a "hard" side (for online and brick-and-mortar adult stores) and a "soft" side, that's normally preferred by mainstream chain stores. In the case of Housewives, we upped the variety even more by unveiling a third design in the original AVN ad. Thanks for supporting this title!
