I'm with aybesea on that... I have a much different perspective than I used to.I wasted a lot of time wishing and hoping and wondering. I think now I would be much more forthcoming about it. It's not as big a deal as I used to think it was, and it would've saved alot of time if I could have just been more daring and either gotten a yay or nay.
I never expect to be out there again... so I couldn't say for sure what I'd do now, but I'm pretty sure I'd have a lot more confidence, and at the same time be able to handle the rejection better because I wouldn't have built it up so much to begin with.
To be truthful though... I always KNEW down in my gut whether a girl was interested or not, but unfortunately I often didn't follow my gut and had to go through several painful "let's be friends" discussions.
Who knows though. History has a tendency to repeat itself and if I ever lost my wife, I'd probably go back to being single, hopeful and mousy. :)
