Just wondered about this. Obviously chicks that have been strippers, escorts, and models can be offered to do porn, and many times they except if they enjoy sex or if the money's better. But for a 18 year old, who has not been in these fields, how do they get into porn. I was looking at the story of Jessica Robbin. It's amazing she got into porn just days after her 18th birthday. How do girls like this get into porn?
Many of them live in California, where porn is shot. Before they reach 18 and shoot nude, they may warm up with softcore webcamming and modeling, or prostitution. In other nations, the age of consent is lower, so there are many videos of younger women/girls that can't be shown here. Anywhere that has internet has porn that children can see, so they grow up with porn. And sex worker parents who don't know how to give their kids any other future. If that doesn't account for all of the barely legal scenes, then assume the simplest: lying about age to sell videos. This is a very strange question. Why do you think girls have to be strippers, escorts or models BEFORE they do porn? Why can't they just hit 18, then think "I want to earn some money making porn", and contact one of the producers/talent agencies?

Because where would they get the contact info for these agencies. Most 18 year old girls may watch porn, but how the hell do they know who LA Direct Models or Spiegler is. They have to be referred by somebody.
^ Why? All the info is out there and readily available to anyone who wants to find it. Social media like Twitter (and MySpace, back in the day) makes it easy to connect with agencies. It's nothing for 13 year old kids these days to watch porn on the tubes so when they turn 18 they're ready to make the move based on what they've seen.

I recall hearing Missy Stone saying she just put out an enquiry on some adult modeling jobs site and she said she was contacted 5 minutes later. She lived in Maryland at the time, so I don't think it's that difficult. Of course, she was extremely pretty.
Isn't it simply a matter of being: A) Female B) Reasonably easy on the eye and C) Willing to do pretty much anything sexually Fulfil those requirements and you're in, surely?
