If a director absolutely needs a certain act then he better ask beforehand if the girls is willing to do it. If they don't ask before it will only lead to two options the scene gets shots without it or will be cancelled.

First off. What sort of cleansing is done before the scene? Does every performer cleanse before every anal/A2M scene they do, or do performers sometimes just hope for the best? (a risky proposition I would guess)
Second, and this is a little personal, but I am genuinely interested, so I hope you don't mind me asking, what was it like the first time you ever did ass to mouth (I assume it was in a porn movie and not your personal life right?), were you disgusted by the thought that things might get dirty? How have you dealt with that since then? If you do a hundred A2M scenes, isn't there a pretty good likelyhood that in at least one of them you will have a little accident? (especially if it is with another girl, who you can't clean yourself)? Have you ever heard of accidents happening with A2M? Usually performers enema before anal scenes and I never had a major problem. Of course little accidents happen but I don't get overly grossed out by it. If the dick that comes out of the ass doesn't look clean enough there will be a cut and some cleasing and then the same thing will be repeated. That's it, no big deal. It's ok to stop the scene for something like this. If I work with another girl and I'm supposed to do ATOGM I check things out first. if it's not clean enough I ain't sticking it in my mouth.
Before the ATM actually happens there is a lot of ass fucking, fingering, maybe dildo insertion - you can tell if the ass is clean or not after this.
I don't remember my first ATM because it's no big deal for me. I probably didn't even think it was too special.

just think of ATM as a "stunt", everybody is prepared to do it but for the viewer it is outrageous because they think about the potential things that could go wrong. It's like Bruce Willis jumping off a 17 story building and not getting hurt.
