You can get a cursor in the entry fields in Firefox by tabbing to them. Clicking on them doesn't work. That works in Konqueror but the site looks awful with that browser though.
IMHO it's annoying to have to register to browse the site. I did try registering with the nick Kperv but I never got the confirmation email and it won't accept my login.
GRRRRRRRR.... Yet ANOTHER problem we seem to be having with it. That people aren't getting their confirmation emails. Might just take the code back to source.
The reason we request registration for some portions of the site is because there is some explicit content contained there in. And while it's silly because anyone can register it kind of makes us feel like we're doing our part if you know what I mean.
Normally that´s the first of all HTML rules: Keep access for users of your site as simple as possible! Though I understand with adult content things might be a little bit different. Just open Google and see how easy it´s for kids getting porn images they shouldn´t have access to at all!
As far as the technical logon problems with BKP. You need to add BKP into your secure sites within IE or any other browser (any existing browser is using the raw operating system part responsible for exploring the web as base) security settings and everything opens well.
BTW: Their webdesigners seem to be highly distrustful of visitors, because they have encryted the source code with a JAVA script. Rather useless in my opinion: Just loading the site with any webdesign application opens the code content in a second.
A more serious matter for you would be that such problems do not inspire confidence. I would have to think more than just twice before entering my credit card info on a site that has such severe technical problems. CC info leaking out is not unheard of, and I need to feel relatively certain that my data are transmitted, processed and, if absolutely necessary, stored in a secure manner.
Good thing we don't use that site for that. And you are correct about the leakage of information. We're still working on the site and do serioulsy appreciate the feedback. So far we've tested it on obviously IE, Netscape, Maxton and it comes up fine for us in Firefox as well.

And that is what we tried to do. You are right about Google. However we feel that in this case as I said even as silly as it is that they don't blatantly get it from us. Our legal eagles also agree. And we tend to do what they say in most cases. :)Do me a favor KPerv and try it and let me know what you come up with. I would like to see if any of it works. As far as your login info please drop me an email janay AT blackkatproductions.com with the info you would like to use. What I think happened with your attempt was that your email bounced back. I got a notice of it bouncing to my email. Could have been someone else just the same.
Thank you though all of you who have checked it out and provided your feedback. It does mean a lot to us and we are listening.
The Mozilla problem seems to be related, I get a warning on most pages of your site, Janay. If you're interested I can do some serious testing, I am a webmaster myself. Just drop me a line, no need the clutter the forum more than necessary.
After not receiving an e-mail on my second registration attempt (since the ID would be public, if I were to use the forum, I wanted to use "Bill" rather than one that I use on more "private" sites), I re-registered using that ID and received the appropriate e-mail.
If you don't receive an e-mail within a reasonable period of time, I suggest re-registering using the same name prior to contacting Janay.
BTW, the suggestion of tabbing to the data entry fields, rathre then just clicking within them, using Firefox worked for me too.
I really appreciate the input guys. We are in the process of removing all of the java script. Well as much of it as we can anyway and maintain the operational performance.
hey GAF- thanks for getting the bitches over at BKP all up on their ego trips and posting their pics. They are like at war over there.. LOL See what you started. I hope you're happy... LOL
