It depends on where you're looking, too. Europe has been able to maintain production much more easily than the United States. That may change now that COVID cases are exploding in places like the Czech Republic, where much of the EU's porn production takes place.

If you go sub to OF ALOT of new porn is being made. I was just talking to someone earlier because Im more into G/G that Karlee Grey has so much new G/G content. Abigail has new G/G content as well. Coming soon she is going to release a G/G/G with herself, Whitney Wright, and Joanna Angel. She has a G/G with Molly Stewart too. Both are Halloween theme scenes. She also just recently shot a G/G with Cherie DeVille. I can go on and on about performers on their OF just shooting G/G content. I also know B/G content that has been shot too but Im just speaking of G/G just because thats what Im mostly interested in.
Now if you are talking about studios, from keeping track on twitter studios are shooting. Im a sub for AllHerLuv and they are shooting new scenes and already been putting out new scenes on their site. Different performers also promote their stuff that they are shooting for studios and either isnt out yet or is soon to be coming out. So new porn is actually being made both for OF as well as studios you just need to like follow social media like twitter to keep up with all of it.
I'm happy there is new porn, and like you I love girl girl too.

I think the covid protocols are slowing production down quite a lot. I believe everyone on a set has to be tested, which is an additional cost as well as one more logistical hurdle just to get a scene shot. My guess is that production levels (for studios) might be around half of what they were a year ago.
But as LezFan said, it is more for their own stuff, the girls who are doing their "own" thing now, of course driven by Corona, Abigail is shooting a lot of her own, for her own thing, OF et cetera. The same are other girls are doing, the more bigger names. And yes it seems there are less new shootings of the old, big companies, for me not really sure why, but the tendency is going away from the old companies, it seems at the moment.
The testing thing is one big issue, of course, I wrote some about it now while or when shooting. Maybe a reason but the biggest reason for less shootings, IDK.
