When talking to women you can always start with the Butthead voice and begin with "uhh... heh, bebe... ya wanna like..."

and then insert whatever it is you have in mind. It never fails. Then follow with Butthead laugh "uh, he he... he said "insert"..."
(If you never watched Beavis & Butthead, this won't make sense)

serious, if you're still out there, people have had a whole lot of fun in your thread, and I hope you can appreciate that on some level and not be too disappointed.

You know what the answer is to your own question, though. It's going to come down to finding someone worth talking to in the first place that'll solve your dilemma. Women who only respond to thug talk or playa speak may not be the ones for you. If that's all the sistas where you are, try talking to Asian women, Latinas, or white chicks. It's all pink on the inside.

I think it is quite obvious you want to fuck the women you strike up a conversation with so let me help you out.

#1. Get yourself some nice smelling colonge, that pheromone infused stuff really does work wonders.

#2. Don't introduce yourself. The very first thing out of your mouth should be "WOW, you really smell good, what kind of perfume is that?"

If she smiles and tells you the brand of her perfume, the hook is IN!

If she doesn't smile, forget about it and try same line again on other woman whom she is not with.

NEVER try this approach unsuccessfully in a bar more than three time, go to another bar.

#3. The hook is in and she is smiling, the next thing you want to say is, "You know, you have a great smile."

She will smile some more, and possibly blush. If she blushes the hook is definately IN and time to be careful. Introduce yourself, "Hi, I'm Joe Bloe and you are?" extend your hand to offer a handshake. Be gentle and NOT firm. Hold your hand like a fag, palmside up and rub your thumb on top of her wrist, but not in a creepy way.

#4. Okay, you got her name, DO NOT forget it. Write it down on the inside of your sunglasses first chance you get. DO NOT FORGET HER NAME. Write it down, on your palm, or a napkin that you can keep in your pocket. Name is VERY important.

#5. Ask her if she would like to sit down and pull out a stool or a chair for her. If you are on a dance floor ask her to dance, no matter how bad you dance it is irrelavant as eye contact is relavant. She won't notice how bad your moves are if you maintain eye contact.

#6. If dancing, when dancing is over ask her to join you for a drink. At this point in the game SHE WILL OBLIGE. If not dancing, you skip to 7.

#7. Ask her what she likes to do for fun.

#8. Listen. DO NOT give her the oppurtunity to ask you what you like to do. If she starts to lead into it with "So" immediately cut her off and say "HOW COOL"

#9. Take control of the situation, after you state "How Cool" Tell her some of your interests, DO NOT LIE, but really think about this beforehand. Tell her the exciting things you do, or if you don't do anything exciting pick something that you would really like to do. Skydiving always works. For example: "I'd really like to try skydiving, but have always been afraid." Ask her if she has ever skydived, or bungee jumped.

#10. Take in what she says and say "You have really beautiful eyes, do you know that?" Maintain eye contact while thinking about her answers to skyding/bungee jumping.

If she has absolutely no desire for either of the two, move to hiking.

If this doesn't get you in the door, let me know.

cobalt, i know that people were gonna have fun with this, this is a porn site and we all fuck around, it don't bother me 1 bit. my only thing is that as far as those who've tried giving advice, i asked for actual words to tell women, ACTUAL WORDS in starting a conversation. thanks though.

I'm sorry, but every situation and person is different. There is no magic password like "open sesame". Women are as individual as men.

Just keep it socially appropriate. LarryFarwell said stuff that is generally okay, but doesn't work in an office, for example.
Common interests are good. Just get along as people first.

Get out your cell phone, walk towards subject of interest, pretend to be minding your own business when you get within earshot of her say in a very clear voice into cell phone "No Mr. Trump as much as I would like to play a round of golf with you I just can not fit you into my schedule at this time." Put away phone and wait. Disclaimer: this method will not work if you are at Wal-Mart.

basically, put up a front and project some 'ideal' version of yourself. because, surely, all ladies like a liar and detest honesty. they want games and bullshit and deception. shit, i better cancel my subscription to cosmo.

I won't give you actual words because as croy has previously stated, the effectiveness of said words will vary depending on the particular situation and women that you are presented with.

However, and it might have already been said, confidence in whatever you say will go a long way more often than not. I've had guys make nonsense remarks in starting up a conversation with me but because they exuded a certain amount of charm, I indulged them for at least a few minutes.

'hey, sugar tits...'

seriously? depends on the setting. make a comment relative to where you are. or comment on what they're wearing with a segue into something itneresting, i.e., if they're wearing a 'Scientology Rules!' shirt say something like 'Gee, that L Ron Hubbard sure was a dude.' i'm being facetious, but you can get what i'm trying to say. enage their interest talking about what they like. admittedly, it's a little harder if they're wearing khakis or and jack boots (probably a no go anyway), but give it a shot.

As a guy, I'll confirm this. I've seen it happen a lot. Its not what you say, but how you say it. But then you better have a follow-up. You got your foot in the door.

We, when younger, used to have bets to see who could pick up women with the lamest lines. Confidence is the key, especially when you can already hear in your head how lame it sounds.

listen guys, i'm not asking "how to be robotic" or for a bunch of pickup lines. all i'm asking, bear with me i'm trying to keep it as simple as possible to not misquote myself, is how would you guys start a conversation on the street. it doesn't have to be cheesy pickup lines.

Seriouspervert, I don't think there are any &quotrules" on how to talk to women. It all really depends on the situation and on the personality of the women. Remember, though, that women are just like us, they are flesh and blood, and they also probably appreciate the fact that it's not always easy to begin a conversation without sounding like a pratt

I suppose the most common way to start conversations (if in a club) is to ask her if you could buy her a drink. I know it probably sounds quite lame but what else can you really say in such an environment?

what i'm asking is for an actual example of what you would say to a women. i'm not looking to say the exact same things that are said here, i just want an idea. i don't want to be an asshole, but i would appreciate some actual help instead of the - it all depends- all women are different- be yourself- rant i've been getting.

Something relevant to what is going on.
At a concert, the band, stuff like that. I've been known to turn around to strangers and ask/comment about something going on at the time.
Look, you are a stranger trying to get a foot in the door. If you seem friendly (or at least not psycho) people tend to talk. At that point a woman is, on some level, already sizing you up. Talk more and do something social.
Last time I did something like that, I met a movie reviewer who now wants to socialize. Shortly before that, it was a woman in the same bookstore.

I think one should start with a simple conversation topic like subatomic theory or Kaos theory of mathematics or even quantum mechanics. Or we can go to the field of organic chemistry too. Something that is interesting and has alot of potential conversational material built-in. Crystal formations are lite conversation starters.

If everything else fails; astrophysics will get their attention everytime; start with "time shift relativity!"

Ladies want a challenge and is a quite a good starting point!

At least the ones who respond are extremely intelligent or/and have a science/technology background!

Afte all; you what the total package right?

I hate to say this, but (other than real relationships with guys that I had already known for a while) the only 'new guys' that I ever went out with or went home with were chosen purely for their looks. Guys that look that good are usually not insecure, so as long as they don't say anything particularly to rule themselves out, they come off okay. In a group of guys, the one I'm interested, all other things being equal, is the best-looking one. The three sure turn-offs for me were a come-on line, bad teeth, and smoking. A fabulous looking guy could pull out a cigarette, and my attention goes elsewhere. For other girls, it could be some other thing. You could get ruled out just for doing something that reminds me of my brother. It's not something that you can plan. There's not a right thing to say.

You can't fake good-looking. You can't fake charm. So look nice, and rely on actually getting to know somebody.

But things aren't usually equal, so maybe it would help sp if you mention what made the more positive impression, looks and grooming aside. Wit, topicality, comfort in their own skin?

Croy said:
Like I said, you can't fake charm. What I found most appealing were relaxed, naturally playful guys who actually talked alot, and were happy talking a lot. The best talked about stuff all over the map -- humorous things, philosophy, gossip, plans, imaginative tales, stuff that just poured out of them, they laughed a lot. Someone else might like the strong silent type, but that's another story. The guy who asked this original thread question obviously isn't a talker.

It varies, too. Some guys aren't that loquacious, but they still have something appealing, and it's best (for me) if they don't know what it is. One guy would be astounded to know that the thing I found the cutest was his warning to me (in the first hour that I knew him) that his mother would never let him marry a girl who wasn't Jewish. I just loved that. Someone else might hate it. I just thought, hey, he let me know so much about himself there, in one sentence. He mentions his mom, hahah, and he has a sort of guilt about making out with a girl without letting her know it's not leading to marriage! So straightforward. I had to hold back from grinning when he said it. Cute boy.

WHAT?!

No they're not.

They are heartless, cruel, sweet-smelling, soft-skin-having, mercenary, she-devils who enjoy nothing more than seeing us squirm, look foolish, or look stupid. Or all the above. (Okay, some may like chocolate more. And some may like money more. And some may like their vibrators more. But ALL of them like seeing us discombobulated.)

Most women know instantly whether or not they're going to a.) give you the time of day, and b.) fuck you, and there ain't a whole lot you can do about it. Certainly not increase your chances at friendship or booty, by anything you say. All you can really do is talk yourself out of something that she may have been predisposed to give you.

Better to say nothing at all, and wait til one lands on you.

You can thank me later.

Here are a couple guys that I instantly knew were for me (had I not been already married). One was a young Swedish guy who came into a train station in Bombay and was waiting with us to get our Indrail passes, which was a drawn-out, bureaucratic tangle for no explicable reason. He was not a large guy, and had a sweet face and soft hair. Just nice. He stayed cheerful throughout the ridiculous wait, and told a story about his hotel room the night before, and how he found in the morning, when he went into the bathroom, that there was a huge hole in the floor with a sheer drop into the room below. He was laughing about it. What did I like? He was adventurous, sweet, awed by the weirdness of India, cheerful, and easygoing enough that if I had been traveling alone, I probably could have asked if he'd like to change plans and head to Jaisalmer with me, and he probably would have been up for that. He probably would have been fine with anything.

Another guy that I instantly loved was an American who came into a vegetarian restaurant in Oslo and asked which menu items had dairy products, explaining that he was allergic to dairy. We asked him to join us. I said, "You're not allergic to dairy, are you?" He said no, he wasn't, he just wanted to make sure, because he was vegan. He was traveling alone, staying with friends in various countries. Again, I just liked his manner. He wasn't overbearing getting the information about dairy, just a relaxed, sweet guy. Sproinggg!

You can't fake the things that people are attracted to. What I like isn't at all what the next person might like. So you have to be yourself. If you aren't a playa, you just aren't. You'll end up where you're supposed to be.

Although, there are some Machiavellian books on how to mislead chicks to get laid. Some of them are supposed to be good, if you don't mind deceit.

Also, besides books on seduction, amazon has numerous other books. A lot of the advice will be obvious stuff that you already know about posture and hygiene and smiling and making eye contact. But most likely also a good overall, helpful background, because this is all something nobody convey you in just a post.

One woman's charming is another woman's loser. But pheromones are good. Wear pheromones, and they drop trou right after eye contact. No talking needed.
