| Electric_Logan Member 384 Posts 6/11 | ...because of the 'plug-in not found shockwave flash' thing. So annoying man, I spent like 3 hours yesterday evening with my laptop jacked into my modem whilst I buffered an awesome collection of scenes I found online and when I finally took my laptop upstairs to watch this plug-in thing happened. So I tried taking it back to the modem to see if they would work then, and the same thing happened even when I plugged back into my modem. So basically the problem wasn't present up until like 10:00 last night, then it arose. Anyone else suffered this horrible torture? What did you do? I'm currently using a pc cleaner which I downloaded from a help page I found, it's scanning and finding a lot of issues, but I'm half expecting that I'll have to pay big bucks to actually get it to do the job and I have no money whatsoever at the moment. So when I get money again soon, I think I might have to spend a fair bit of it on porn dvd's man... and so my next topic asking for recommendations is on its way... This is more of a tech talker... Occasionally a DVD arrives cracked but for the most part it is easier than messing with my computer. If you have a DVD recorder with a hard drive and a filter you can save content to the recorder HDD. Edited by - peoples temple on 12/1/2011 5:21:08 PM |

Go to 'Control Panel' uninstall any flash/plug-in based software (adobe flash/microsoft silverlight etc) and restart PC and go to website with video (should automatically re-install plugin required.) if fail go to 3. 3. Uninstall web browser and then uninstall any flash/plug-in software. Also try different browser just in case the website is incompatible. If none of the above work get CCleaner (free) and clean registry just in case it is a file extension conflict. Also in Control Panel check the Windows Firewall program list just incase the plug-in is being blocked. Failing all that depending on how vital the plug-in is to you is reinstall Windows/Linux/Apple OS operating system. |

| Electric_Logan Member 384 Posts 6/11 | I'm aware that it seems to be a problem that only google chrome has, which is a damn shame because google chrome is good in very good otherwise. So before one thing I tried was downloading Mozilla Firefox, but that was really slow and just kept crashing. Internet Explorer is really slow on my computer too, so I'm wondering what browser should I replace chrome with that will still let me watch internet videos and isn't ridiculously slow either? Other than that, anything else, quick and easy, that I can do? |

Slow connection speeds are the Kryptonite of streaming and downloading video. I'd wager that it is your connection. Trust me, I speak from experience. Yet I have an impressive collection of digital clips and full scenes from pay sites... ...I suspect that you may be asking the wrong questions and that you may be asking them in the wrong forum (hint, hint).
