I don't remember the quality of their photos ever being particularly high, they have always averaged around 200-300 kb filesize, there was a period in 2019 where they released some Ultra-High quality photosets Around 7-10mb filesize each, but for some reason they stopped, someone probably just forgot to compress them to be honest.
Has Brazzers and company (Mindgeek I think) gotten rid of the PornPortal? I had access to Brazzers, Reality Kings, Mofos & Digital Playground and now all I have is Mofos. I've been searching the net for an answer but nothing so far. Thanks
I know for months now they stopped offering unlimited subs to other sites in their pornportal, only having the monthly payment options. Haven't checked in a while, but them removing your paid sites would be a dick move.
Also, I had a Brazzers subscription through Epoch, plus all of their other major sites as unlimited subs as long as I keep the Brazzers sub going. Well, Epoch from time to time if you cancel a yearly sub, at least that was in my case with TeamSkeet and Dogfart, offer a cheaper price. I had a yearly TeamSkeet sub for around 60€, went to cancel it through epoch a couple days before it would end and got an offer of 42 € for a yearly sub.
I thought the same would work for Brazzers, canceled through Epoch, but got no offer, so I resubscribed, which is an option on Epochs site as long as the sub didn't reach the renew date. It even showed me I resubbed again and all was fine. Well I tried to log into Brazzers a couple days later and to my surprise it said your sub ran out.
Brazzers and all my unlimited subs gone, and from the looks of it you can't even get that option in pornportal anymore even if I started to subscribe to mindgeek sites again. Brazzers really doing everything to shit on fans, especially after pornhub lost credit card support.
They delete videos, got rid of unlimited sub additions, removed comments from their websites. And from the looks of it only offer their shitty probiller option.
^^ I have found also that every several months, they lock my account because of "suspicious activity," and the process of getting reinstated, I have to run a gauntlet of sales offers. It's very annoying.

When I tried to cancel using that "service" it took about half an hour. I would have to wait several minutes for each of their replies to my Please Just Cancel Like You Said I Could requests, which I had to type in each time.
It's so frustrating I really would have wanted the latest Jessa Rhodes clip but I know the quality will be rubbish. I would even pay for clips individually if they put them in some store if they don't want to host them themselves. Bang Bros and Private and others put them on Legalporno and they don't care about how big the files are.
The problem is there is no one to contact or no one that cares to listen to feedback I can only hope they go out of business and someone else takes over.

I subscribed to Brazzers for the first time in three years and didn't know you had to pay a premium to download videos on their site now. What a fucking ripoff, I'm never subscribing to that site again.

I was corresponding with someone from wamtec, a network of sites related to underwater sex, and here is a quote from an email he sent me regarding the trend of going from downloads to streaming. [bold added by me]
"I have to think like a businessman....not as a private collector. I have to do streaming not because it is what I prefer.....but because it is what 99% of my customers prefer. I preferred the old days, when my customers would pay $30 to $40 for each DVD or VHS tape I released. But customers do not want to pay $30 for a DVD anymore....they preferred to pay only $10 for a download file. But now in 2018 my download sales are down by 90% and nobody wants to pay $10 for a download any more......they prefer to pay $15 per month for a streaming membership to watch hundreds of my files online. So from a big sample standpoint, it looks like most people are preferring streaming to downloads, so the loss of downloading does not matter as much to the majority of users overall as we might have initially thought.

^That's an interesting theory but I'm not sure that it holds water. Gamma sites let the customer choose the membership, streaming only is a bit less than downloading. Mindgeek sites are not upfront with their real billing structure. I cannot think of a single good reason for the way that they do business.
^Yeah, the argument that customers *want* streaming only porn is not one that I find particularly compelling. Conflating DVD's with digital direct downloads seems off to me considering they are fundamentally different avenues. DVD's give you a limited set of scenes for one set price per-disc, as opposed to the model of site downloads where the user generally has access to the entire site's archive for a monthly charge. And the Netflix argument doesn't exactly follow either considering they actually make their videos available for offline viewing, they just do so by utilizing a native app that the user installs on their device.
I have a suspicion that Mindgeek sites are gradually moving to a streaming-only model in an effort to crack down on pirated content (If that's the case fine, but they should be upfront about it). Onlyfans has clearly proven that consumers will tolerate a streaming-only platform if they are motivated.

Yes, there are a number of variables here, maybe not so much apples and oranges, but different types of apples.
If we go back to Brazzers specifically, for the Kelly Divine scene "Tippin' the Bellboy" (with the late Jordan Ash), the downloadable version is a lower quality than the DVD version of the same scene, as it is an earlier scene from an era when this difference was more common.
Maybe I am wrong, but I think that many members at ADT (about 55,000-60,000 out of billions of potential members) often see porn not only as a quick fix, but also, in some cases at least, as a special kind of art form, one that has many scenes worthy of preserving at the highest quality available.
Many people who run the sites themselves probably do not see things that way.
Certainly we as customers are not out to make the profits that they are.
Customers and studios may all be porn participants, but have fundamentally different goals.
^ I do remember a scene with Maddy O'Reilly and Kieran, where he pisses on her. Don't know for which series though, and if it is still in their back catalog.
They've brought in Tranny porn so i do not see why this has to be taboo and why this can't be on Brazzers .They should embrace all genres i feel.

I think we have covered the key "trans" points in the past 6 posts. So let's go back to Brazzers.
Using Kelly Divine as a reference, there have been 14 videos of her at Brazzers for the past several months. At one time there were 30 of her videos.
The 14 are all called HD videos. But the one called Tippin' the Bellboy (2008) is actually a 480p video. In fact, I have the DVD Big Butts Like It Big 2, which has this scene, also at 480p of course, and yet at a higher quality than the Brazzers site version that I downloaded as a member in 2020.
Has anyone else seen evidence that a 480p Brazzers site video is being called HD?
I once was told at Kink.com that a certain file would be available in HD if I joined. I joined, and the file was an older one at 480p. I complained, saying getting it in HD was my reason for joining, and they kindly refunded my payment.
There's a reason why netflix have mostly 90s/00's content. It's not feasible to have every movie on their servers and they keep re-compressing the files to make them smaller to save server space. I think zz and other porn sites should delete every video older than 12 months under a certain view number and upload only 360p streaming videos for new content. Whoever wants hd/4k/downloads/older movies they can go get Blu-ray or pay higher add-on fees. I was never a fan of pay one fee and download our entire catalog type of site.

Don't most customers that want downloads really only download what they like, not "everything"?
And, the reason I want downloads is to get higher-quality resolutions, not files with less resolution than streaming. Seriously, most of the websites I deal with have higher bitrates and better resolution on their trailers and previews, than Brazzers gives us on their downloads -- which newer marks, er customers, are paying extra for!

Hi lex von v, Thanks. There is also the question of re-encoding a video with more I-frames and how it affects file size. More closely spaced I-frames allow for more precise video editing as they are the preferred starting frame type. I have maintained video quality and used an I-frame every second instead of the original every 10 seconds.
The resulting "I-packed" file was only about 1-2% larger. It was also of course much easier to work with.

For a studio that everyone likes to claim is failing or fell off hard; how do you explain all the top talent wanting to continue working with them as contract stars with Angela White being the latest? It's not about the money, I can promise you that because the best in the business can work just about anywhere. Brazzers is able to treat the talent in such a fashion that they have a blast doing what they do and while you may have your complaints, the fact that everyone you can imagine is looking to work with them says they are doing something incredibly right. I'm not even saying this as a big time Brazzers fan but with the sheer few contracts that stars sign these days? To get the quality of people they are getting says VOLUMES.

Thanks. That part of things is great, as you point out. Many of our complaints are regarding the removal of thousands of older great scenes and the fact that many of the newer ones are at a much lower resolution, although the stars themselves are some of the best.
So guys, great news, i only create this account bc i checked once in a while to see if there was a Reason why brazzers deleted si many scenes from the old brazzers. They cameback, not every one of them, but at least a lot of them did. I search for kylee strutt scenes like three days ago and as usual there was only one of them. Today they are 4. This is to give a example. A lot of other stars has a lot of her scenes back, not entirely (kylee strutt had 6 or 7 scenes) but a lot of them are back. Great news. Hope they can get all the other missing ones back.
