Just saw "Assault That Ass 6", mainly cause of Katin, who I think is hot. Anyway, the male talent hooted, screeched, screamed, and bellowed like a bunch of zoo chimps, totally ruining the flick. The childish, moronic head stomping was also a bore. See ya RLD.

Yeah - some of red light's stuff is still top notch.

I'm sure there's some great fucking in ATA6 - but the title is straight-forward to the point of being worn out.

I like to see a bit of creativity in a scene, and i'm afraid some of red light's stuff is just a casting couch cliche.

I sympathise with Red Light - they basically reinvent gonzo - nearly everyone falls in love with its simplicity - then they have to raise the bar once more - in a climate where they are given constant shit for brushing with the oscenity laws.

Everyone knows that Everhard, Mike John, Jake Malone, Manuel Ferrera, and Steve Holmes are worth their salt, but maybe it's time for a clearout and a facelift elsewhere.

Another thing is, I don't think Red Light are the only ones with difficulties.

I tend to think that the more talented director's are the ones doing there own thing over at Platinum X - but maybe those titles don't get the spotlight of Red Light.

I've not seen Mind Fuck yet, but I gather that it's the first move to counter the repetitive formula concerns.

Is it me, or is Manuel Ferrera feeling the frustration as much as some viewers?

Haven't seen that movie but I agree about alot of the RLD guys. They need to take a tip from the veteran male performers like Tom Byron, Sean Micheals, Mark Davis, John Dough, etc. Joke all you want at the beginning of the scene but when the action starts, shut up and fuck. They understood the girls were the stars of the movie. Alot of these new guys think the focus is on them. Their hyper activite, macho posturing has turned porn into some sort of new sport.

Red Light District's material is always good when it comes to the 'niche' you're into. Whether it's anal, oral, etc, it doesn't matter. It's all top notch. And i don't mind to see the same guys over and over again. At least i know that they'll deliver the footage that i want to see. And that's a comforting thought, 'cause whether they have brand new female performers or the more experienced ones to work with, they'll still make sure to get the best out of all the lady professionals and that's exactly why i buy their products!

When it comes to guys making a lot of annoying noise a can't really comment to that, 'cause i usually like to watch adult stuff with the wife and then we turn the volume down so we can hear ourselves better! ;-)

Yeah, my girlfriend and I can't sleep till we've watched at least one scene from Cum Filled Asshole Overload.

I don't mind the male talent on the whole. And I think the sense of humour of the guys is a big plus. The extra footage is always worth watching.

My gripe is with the repetitive nature of some titles - how memorable will each scene be?

RLD does put out some good stuff. But its not just RLD that has some "annoying" man noise.
Take it as it comes though. Not all the titles are like that.

For me, there's a marked difference between the company directors and the independent ones and what they end up producing. The same talent pool, both male and female, and some decidedly different results. As far as the same old, same old, I think the entire industry is in a rut with everyone trying to be more outrageous than the other guy and the result is some joyless acrobatics that barely approximate actual sex. Somebody, somewhere will wise up and go back to the basics, reaping the benefits of that decision.

I have watched Mind Fuck. It is different from the rest of the RLD films in a sense that it is darker and weird, there is actually an attempt on acting and scenarios. And the sex is great too. I like how Amber Peach is slowly getting into doing anals here and there, but I think she still has a long way to go.

There is so much choice now..and we know any RLD are made up of many different directors..to make a decision over one movie is absurd! that's what were all here for too Deciminate information about what's good and what's not.

Not necessarily. They re-invigorated gonzo by dressing Anabolic and Diabolic's style of product in a nicer package. Massive emulation followed. So, I understand what you mean there. Red Light is constantly taking it upon themselves to be the trend-setters and it isn't easy because, well, all of the other f'n companies truly do follow their lead. If James Avalon's features are successful, how many other gonzo companies do you think are going to start shooting features?
