Hi Veronica, sounds very intriguing. Will you be performing for your new business at all? You would be a huge draw because you were a very unique porn star. Are you shooting any other content while this gets off the ground?

I don't get it! What's happening here with this site? Is this a rehash/reseller site where I have to join to get scenes that are already available on other sites, or is this all exclusive content? What makes this site special compared to the other sites out there?

The site is still in beta. She goes into a better explanation of the site on her youtube channel.
It's similar to Adult Time where she has exclusive content of her own, but also has channel partners supply their content.
Unlike adult time that works as a subscription revshare model, Vuli will be pay-per-scene in the beginning, and the price target appears to be $5 per scene.
Right now you have to pay a minimum of $5 to check it out, but that's really if you want to help support her.
But I believe when it is out of beta, anyone can join for free, and just pay for what you want and your scenes will always reside in your library.
However, it is streaming-only, so you are betting vuli remains in business.
And she would need to shoot some awesome content of her own/get enough partners to supply content, in order to attract and maintain the userbase.

Did I get that right Paige?

If you're a gamer, imagine it like the launch of the Epic Games Store platform, but without fortnite as the gateway game.

^Everything you wrote may be 100% accurate but the problem is that at this moment every thing you can see for free is that original 16 month old main page. The only thing that is different is that you can now get access to a phantom site and one video for 5$. I assume the same one that was there 16 months ago.

Does anyone still believe that a 1$ membership is worth a dollar? Somehow because a person who did porn for a minute tells you that her amazing site is almost ready...after 16 plus months and you only have to fork over 5 buck to see it. People should believe her. I'm a simple guy with a simple mind set. I pay for the stuff that I can see and not the stuff that's hidden behind door. I've seen the Wizard of Oz way too many times not to know that the guy behind the curtain is a charlatan.

I think if you are trying to do something new a good model would be a bridge between the customization and specialization of onlyfans or manyvids and the production values of a traditional studio. Right now all the stars are doing their own onlyfans but the quality is usually just cell phone videos and not worth it from a quality content perspective. On the professional side of things the creation of the content and type of that content is not in the hands of the fans and usually you just get what you get. The site that I would like to see is one that allocates a portion of your membership to create content that the fans specifically ask for. With each monthly membership should come with a series of votes and instead of throwing out the votes that didn't reach the threshold they go into a sort of bucket that is collected over time. For example, if a Ava Addams gets 1200 votes then her scene goes into production. If Mandy Muse only got 350 that month then next month she would need 850 so it might take a couple months to get there. I think to have a new site that is unique today you have to incentivize return business and monetize something that has been overlooked. This format might be what you are looking for.

So, it's a resale site with possibly some original content?

^That appears to be the case. Personally, I don't know why I would pay $5.00 for a single scene that's streaming only when I can join so many other sites for a small monthly fee and download whatever I want.

My review of Vuli's first original movie The Golden Key can be read here.

Do remember when purchasing scenes on Vuli, the cast members get royalties, which, especially during these trying times, is a huge deal!

If you visit the site then you could be fooled into thinking that it is an active thing because it still asks for donations but at least they have removed the more expensive options. I said it felt like a scam and nothing that I have seen in the last 3 years has made me change my mind. The person that was Veronica probably makes too much money from You Tube, twitch and OF and doesn't need this site.

I don't think it was a scam. She was very passionate about trying to get it done. Watching her YOUTUBE videos about it would show that. I think this was just one of those cases of a person having a plan to do something and not realizing how hard it would be to get it done and having a plan that is solid and makes sense but real life doesn't work the way they thought it would. She had a well thought out plan and approach but had a hard uphill battle getting money and getting people to try something different.

The person behind an idea coming across as being passionate about it is just about the last thing I would use to determine whether or not it's a scam. (For the record though, I don't think that Vuli was one, either; just a major misreading of the prospective market.) In any case, I guess it went about as well as I thought it would three years ago.

The idea behind Vuli was great and i wished it worked. The issue is the time it became a thing, Covid started, Onlyfans blew up and now the porn industry is in rumbles...

I mean, i find that pornstars are back or still working months later because they only shoot their own stuff trough OF... Sometimes they do one pro scene to announce the comeback but then its back to only OF.

OF is a model i can't sustain as a consumer. Pornstars charge cheaper than amateurs/instagramer turn onlyfaners porn amateur but its still 12+$ a scene. A whole year of Brazzers will cost you around 120$. Make the math and its a lot more.

Anyway. Back to Vuli the idea was great but the issue was they couldn't produce enough OG content and not enough third parties showed up. In a way why would a performer sell her scenes there for 5$ (including the platform taking a cut obviously) when she will sell it for 30$ on OF...

The market already had ManyVids, Modelhub and even those got sideline by OF.

I totally get how OF is amazing for performers cause sure they pay a cut to the site but otherwise they control their content... but its terrible for consumers. Vuli looked way better. But its sadly the same story as when Youtubers are sick of youtube but no website can replace it cause the viewers don't move with it. Hell even Ninja was not enough to make Mixer (the video game streaming platform by Microsoft) grow enough to be kept alive... Its always Twitch... Twitch dominate.

Onlyfans is kinda like the Youtube or Twitch of porn.

Covid started in 2020 and Vuli was first talked about 3 years ago so it had nothing to do with Vuli never getting off the ground. No offense gentlemen but what does her so call passion have to do with the end result. There are plenty of passionate porn producers who get the job done and don't require a bunch of people to give them a shitload of money upfront without any guarantee that it will give them something back for that money. At least there was until OF came unto the scene. Now there is a platform that ask you for your money upfront and you really have no idea what you will get and people seem to be willing to do that.

I would be less critical that it's a scam site if the site wasn't still willing to take peoples money three years down the line with currently nothing to show for it.
