The reason of this justice decision is the too easy acces of minors to pornographic plateformes. Is this the first time that websites like Pornhub will be banned in an european country? That's the parent's job, also kids need sex ed in school ( at age 12) that teaches them about health masturbation, and porn habits. Maybe that could be talked about in a high school sex-ed class. LCF  All-Star Member Non Prevalebunt! 10364 Posts 1/05 | Posted - Oct 8 2021 : 10:19AM Exactly they don't care whether or not those sites exist , plus they found the lockpick to close many sites without looking as censorship , they do that to save their kid from free porn too easy to watch , problem is they won't get porn from there there are so many tubesites out there , but the real problem would be to identify adult porn consumers that would push out of the business many legit adult consumers from either the tubesites and the regular sites , nobody is going to provide a copy of their ID to any pornsite especially those living in countries with high levels of censorship , nobody would put their faces in any porn database Many years ago I was a member of a german site at one point they closed the site to any view and preview except for those who provided a copy of their ID to prove they were adults in order to prevent porn availability to any minor , I still had some 20 days worth of access , but I didn't do that , I just reached the customer service and just canceled , end of story , from then on no German site for me , I don't even know how many other sites did that nor how long that continued , I lost 20 days I already paid for and that was enough , for fear a new site could do that to me , I Jjust buried Germany that day , I only bought dvds from stores or german porn from other countries. Some might say it's got to do with next year's elections, Macron simply trying to win some points with the more antiquated/conservative/retarded voters and the feminist ones, but I doubt it. It's got nothing to do with minors, that's just the pretext of the day used to attack pornography. It's a constant barrage of negativity against porn, this after a year of a plague that forced very strict lockdowns in France where people were asked to stay home for months on end and weren't even allowed to leave their home to go shopping or walk the dog without first getting an electronic authorization permit for each outing. A year where for many single & lonely people pornography was their sole source of sexual pleasure & relief. People in the EU already can't watch age-restricted youtube videos unless they supposedly send youtube/google a copy of their ID (and from what I've read even if you send it more often than not you still won't have access).
