They have their reasons. What I am saying is that if for the sake of argument he buys a domain name www.pixz4mybuddies.com and gets a reasonable sized disk space, he can then host his own images without fear of losing them to any one else's web site policy. The links he gives out are aren't "public". For instance, if I want to show you a big breasted woman masturbating, I would maybe give you the link www.pixz4mybuddies.com/bigboobedwomanfingers.html It's very unlikely in that case that anyone else outside my circle of friends would have that link, never mind the domain name, as long as all search engine tags are disabled in the web site HTML. This is true for Google, Alexa, Yahoo, etc. The URLs also show up in server traffic logs as referrals if any links from those pages lead off-site. Traffic analysis programs like Quantcast and Google Analytics (among many others) also find out about "private" pages. If your ISP uses proxy servers as most do then copies of the "private" pages could end up being cached at the ISP depending on their cache server configurations. There are many more ways for URLs to be discovered by third parties without your knowledge. Or you could use magic. [Link] |
